The quality of help I received was excellent. An extremely thorough hearing test with pertinent help and advice given throughout. I could not be more pleased.

Very Poor Customer Service so far
I Booked 15 minute hearing test appointment with Boots on 23 November 2023 for 7th December, this was cancelled and rearranged for 29th December. (No explanation as to why)
Hearing test completed and 2nd follow up appointment arranged for full detailed hearing check on 5th January.
On this appointment we ran out of allocated time as audiologist couldn’t find anything in room as it was their 1st time on site. (Different Stand in Audiologist to previous)
Another appointment arranged for 15th January to finish off and take impressions for Phonak Virto Titanium in the ear hearing aids.
Appointment moved from 3pm to 1pm on the day (Different stand in Audiologist again to previous)
Again Audiologist didn’t know where anything was stored.
Couldn’t find correct ear domes to protect eardrum from mould liquid.
Could find depth gauge for ears so
depth of inner ear measurements not taken.
In my opinion the impressions were not done correctly according to Phonaks YouTube video, so I can’t see the depth being correct and them being invisible in the ear as advertised.
I have now been waiting for 2 weeks and I have not heard anything since paying the 10% deposit.
I’m no further forward 2 months after I made the 1st appointment.
I really have no confidence in boots hearing going forward and I’m sure I will be told this type of aids are unsuitable to my ear shape due to unprofessional fitting service.
Fail to Prepare - Prepare to Fail.
I really wish I had gone somewhere else.
Hopefully the service will improve when the regular Audiologist is back in the branch.
UPDATE: it’s now been 3 weeks and still not heard anything and its now been 1 week since boots (according to their reply) were going to reach out and contact me to discuss.
