Boots Hearingcare - Darlington レビュー 

Some 5 years ago, I purchased a pair of Phonac hearing aids from Boots in Darlington. On receipt, the hearing aids worked perfectly, but I found that my right hand aid only gave me 11 hours use from fully charged. I pointed this out to the audiologist who suggested that it was normal to expect reduced battery life when using Bluetooth for phoning and listening to music. Despite several further discussions about it, and only using the aids for hearing, the problem persisted. The
offending aid was sent twice to Phonac and returned with no improvement.
I fully understand that these aids are now out of warranty and consequently will never be truly fit for use, I think this should act as a warning to illustrate how difficult it proves to be if you need a replacement battery for these hearing aids.
I certainly won't be going to Boots for my next pair.

The service that I received was excellent, got my new hearing aids and a further appointment in two weeks time to see how I am getting on with them

Can I check these facts? You treat me with contempt and when I complain, you ask me to send you my details.Which I do. And now you appear to have given my details to a private company without my permission. This company are now ringing me to thank me for an enquiry which I have not made. Is this a fair assessment, because I’m pretty sure this is illegal under the Data Protection Act.

Everything was explained and I ordered the hearing aids Iwanted after discussing the options. I’m looking forward to having them fitted and having the ongoing support promised.

Excellent service by a helpful professional

Walked in to ask about buying a £1.45 hearing aid brush, told in no uncertain terms that I could not buy one as not a boots registered customer.
I only wanted to buy one little brush!!!!

Update have been using these hearing aids for 3 months now worth every penny much better than my National health hearing aids feel I can hear in noisy environments as well as tv etc also love the fact I can use Bluetooth to connect to my phone. No staining to hear on the phone any more.

Audiologist was very good in explaing the hearing aid that I had chosen but couldn't get it to set up for me.I was then offered the balance to pay interest free over two years of which I accepted. Next appointment two weeks away on 22nd April 2025
