Expensive hearing aids,nothing special…
Expensive hearing aids,nothing special for the money and terrible after care.
Both my elderly parents have paid for these hearing aids,which have worked erratically since purchasing.
Hard to get review appointments and when you do these have been changed numerous times.
After making new appts to suit time off work etc to take them and waiting months for the appointment they are chopped and changed at will.
Rubbish service ,not fit for purpose.
I understand sickness happens but this is too often to be plausible.
Do not waste your time or money!!
Still waiting for someone to contact me,but I suppose once you buy they don’t care 6/11 14:11 pm

Rubbish Service
My mother’s hearing aid has gone off again and was sent away for repair. Still not back after two and a half weeks. The staff at metrocentre haven’t a clue when it will be back and couldn’t give us any information. The audiologist we deal with only works one day a week so you can only speak to her on a Monday. For such a huge organisation their customer care is terrible. When her hearing aid needs renewing we won’t be going back there.
Today, 26 Aug 25, I received a generic email from Boots which is an absolutely waste of time!

Overall good experience
Good clear explanation from Audiologist. He treated me with respect and empathy. No reception desk or means of "checking in"so not certain staff were aware I had arrived.

Very good thorough tests during appointment . Everything explained in detail about various types of hearing aides. Felt very comfortable about whole experience.
Hearing aid choice
Professional test with Laura who then spent time with myself and family members to discuss options with me. Demonstrated to family member the different in features and clarity of the different options available so they could help me make an informed choice. Very friendly and patient approach and no pressurised sales pitch. Top quality customer service. Very happy I chose to get support with my hearing loss from boots at the MetroCentre. Thank you.

Initially my consultation was fine
Initially my consultation was fine. However I felt a bit uncomfortable when being shown the options available for hearing aids. Audiologist kept saying how good their hearing was compared to mine. I agreed to purchase expensive aids but unfortunately due to a personal matter I was unable to go ahead with it.
My initial payment was quickly returned much to my relief and thanks.

My Hearing Aid experience
Very efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly audiologists who explained everything very well. The hearing testing was undertaken well, the products explanation was good, and at the fitting of my new hearing aids said that there was plenty of support available afterwards.
