Sam the audiologist, expert, empathetic and thorough.

Sam was very professional and helpful, she explained each stage of the process of my hearing test very clearly. She also explained the hearing aid options available to me. Excellent service all round.

Attended my yearly checkup at Gloucester Boots Hearing Care. Sam was friendly and very efficient, showing me my latest results, and comparing them with last year.

The standard of the reporting and diagnostic information was reassuring when making a decision on whether to purchase the hearing aids that I needed. Clear explanations of audiogram. No pressure to purchase a hearing aid but when chosen there were adequate instructions on fitting and using it. A friendly and professional approach throughout the visit.

Had the short initial test which was processionally conducted by Sam in a good and relaxed manner. Very happy with the test, the facilities and the audiologist

After trying several remedies for blocked ears I called into Boots on the off chance that maybe I could be advised on a cure as time was running out to fly out within the next of couple of days on holiday .
Sam Franklin theAudiologist came to the rescue and my complaint sorted within no time at all. It was a massive relief as i had visions of being on an aeroplane in a lot of pain hundreds of feet in the air.

Took my mum in for a new hearing aid in Boots Glos this week. Sam Franklin was very thorough and helpful. Would recommend to anyone.

I arrived for a pre-booked appointment with Boots hearing care in Gloucester this morning, only to find that the lift was out of order. I am disabled and in my power chair so unable to get down the stairs. A boots female employee went to find out for us what to do. She arrived back very quickly and said that the hearing care representative Sam would be with us to help out. Sam duly arrived and apologised but there was no way of reaching the lower floor hearing support and testing rooms. Sam then took my hearing aids down to get them checked out and adjusted after doing a visual examination on both ears. She came back and said that she noticed that the left wire in the Phonak hearing aid was damaged and it was duly replaced. I asked about hearing tests as i live in Gloucester and she said that it would be better to book at Stroud or Cheltenham as the lifts in Gloucester had been out of use for some while. The lift fault had been reported to management but to date nothing had been done to repair them, hence why she advised me to the two other local Boots hearing care locations. The cost and time for me who is on very limited disability support, is time consuming and very costly. Sam of the hearing care department and the other Boots employee were exceptional with their help and support....a real shame that the other Boots management are NOT in the same league regarding these basic access and support issues for those like me! Helpful and understanding staff with good good customer service skills, helpful and explained the hearing aids and took her time to explain.
Shame the shops lift was not working as I am 90 ++ I had to use the escorlater which was far to fast and I found it very dangerous as I am unsteady on my feet
