The audiologist was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The follow-up call a few days after the appointment was appreciated and shows the aftercare provided.

My elderly Mum attended 2 recent appointments with Ashley. The first was an initial hearing check and examination, followed by a full hearing test. There was a mix-up the 2nd time, with an error in the computer system so Ashley was unaware of the appointment. She'd planned to take the afternoon off, but immediately changed her plans and kept the appointment when we appeared. Ashley was very friendly, whilst still being professional. She was very patient with Mum and explained everything very clearly. She recommended mid-priced hearing aids and did not try to persuade us to spend any more than we were comfortable with. We were very happy with the service we received and would recommend Ashley and Boots Hearingcare to anyone.

I decided to trial an updated version of my Phonak hearing aids . Ashley at knutsford is my audiologist and by her technical knowledge , expertise and attention to detail she has achieved a significant improvement in my hearing capability . She really works hard to understand your feedback then effect improvements and solutions .
She combines a cheery , supportive manner , with a dogged determination to get things right . She’s a real star

My Husband who had made his appointment a week earlier attended his appointment on time at 1.30pm at the Knutsford branch . He knocked on the door - no answer - knocked again and walked in saying " hello it's Mr C****** im here for my 1.30 appointment. The young lady was sat eating a sandwich and looked up and said to my husband " can you just go for a walk around for about 20 minutes whilst I just eat . My husband was taken aback and told her that no he couldn't just take a walk and then said " never mind - enjoy your lunch " and he came home. Now he is home and telling me what has happened and I am absolutely disgusted and very very angry and I just had to write this very bad and angry review. How can a someone who calls themselves a professional treat anyone in this manner. If that had been me I would have apologised immediately and welcomed my client in and done the hearing test. She must have had her appointments and times for all of her clients for the day in front of her . And made time in between her appointments to have her lunch . What I can't help thinking now is how many other people has she done this kind of thing to as well . Shame on you for bringing the good name of Boots hearing down to this level. He will not be returning again .

I was very apprehensive about having a hearing test and possibly needing hearing aids, but Timon explained every step very clearly, and totally put me at ease. I'm extremely grateful for his guidance, help and kindness, and I highly recommend Timon at BootsHearingcare - Knutsford. I am very happy with my hearing now, ! hear very clearly and it has made a big difference to my life

Excellent service through and through. I took my grandmother for an appointment with the consultant, Timon, and found him to be understanding, thorough and gentle with her the entire time. Naturally she was nervous for the test and worried about the outcome, however the consultant made her feel so comfortable she walked out of the initial consultation looking forward to her follow up appointment. Having purchased a pair of aids on his recommendation, I can confidently say not only has my grandmother's quality of life improved, all the members of our family are also now benefiting. We can now include her in conversations and not have raise our voices. I credit all of this to the ease and comfortability of the service she received, as her denial and reluctancy to confront her hearing loss was a challenge, but one overcome with grace by Timon from the boots hearing team. Making that initial appointment was one of the best things I've done for her and I wouldn't have wanted her to have gone anywhere else for audiology treatment.

My hearing test was undertaken in a very sensitive and caring way by a most professional, competent young man. Like many people I was not looking forward to wearing hearing aids, but I felt the test was very thorough and the state of my hearing fully explained. I am no longer worried about having to wear them.
