I've been seeing Roshni at Boots Hearingcare since getting my first pair of hearing aids. I was extremely nervous after a terrible experience on the NHS, but Roshni immediately put me at ease.
She took the time to explain how my hearing was affected and what the hearing aids would actually do. I remember her explaining that I was missing lots of sounds from the alphabet, and suddenly everything made sense, my brain had been hearing bits of words and trying to fill in the gaps. Getting hearing aids made me realise just how much I’d been missing, and how much effort I’d been putting into hearing without even realising it.
Roshni supported me through that whole journey of adjusting to hearing again. It might sound strange, but I had to retrain myself not to concentrate so much on hearing all the time. She reassured me that it was okay to take the aids out and rest, and helped me gradually build up to wearing them all day.
I needed a lot of support at the beginning, and Roshni was always there, adjusting the settings, listening to my experiences, and helping me work through the challenges. That person-centred approach made such a huge difference.
What also makes Roshni special is the personal touch she brings. She remembers and asks about my family, and shares little bits about hers too, so appointments feel much more like catching up with a friend than simply receiving a service. In a world where everything can feel fast and transactional, that kind of genuine care really matters.

I attended with my elderly father and i was so impressed with Roshni's patients, with him, she took the time to listen to his concerns about using a hearing aid and she was polite explained the process assuring him of the benefits, its been 3 weeks now and he is over the moon, he struggled initially putting them in but on the 2 week follow up appointment Roshni gave him a different technique which worked. I can not praise her enough so professional and can tell she is very customer focused!

I have been visiting Roshni at Gallowtree Gate Leicester with my husband for the last 9 years starting with his first hearing test to fitting to most of his follow ups. She remembers who we are and our family and never fails to ask after them. She is a most sincere person and never fails to do a fantastic job and explains everything she's doing. Roshni Thanki, the audiologist that we saw, has a very kind and caring nature and also explains things very clearly. She is very knowledgeable and carries out her role perfectly. l am very lucky to have Roshni taking care of my hearing needs.

Very helpful and friendly person. Knowlegeable in her trade and willing to repeat where necessary. Something I will probably not need going forward with the new aids though. I have had hearing aids from Boots in the past. I was recommended to change them which has proved to be a very good idea. It is the first time in 15 years that I have been able to carry out a technically involved conversation on the mobile with total confidence. Thanks to the new Bluetooth technology. So in total a complete five star experience.

Roshni at Gallowtree gate is an excellent Audiologist, patient focused, friendly and an expert at what she does. I support my mother in attending her appointments and I've seen how, with Roshni's expert guidance and care, she has become more and more confident with being a hearing aids user and not seeing it as a setback in her life. My appointment with Roshni was excellent, she explained everything to me about replacing my hearing aids. Gave me a week to try them out, and then showed me how to maintain them and the extra facilities I could control through my phone. Overall I cannot fault her service and dedication to me, a customer.

Very helpful and professional lots of useful advice

A small blip with the timing of the appointment. The central contact operator booked me in with the wrong technician at the wrong time, so this had to be changed - but this was done efficiently.
May I wholeheartedly commend my audiologist Roshni who has been my contact for several years now. Roshni is always punctual with appointments yet, even when she is obviously busy, I am given full attention and my every query is listened to and carefully explained. I never feel hurried and she allows me to express any queries, however minor before explaining and advising. Although the technology is complicated, Roshni has a great gift of communicating every detail in simple, layman's language, before checking that I have fully grasped the facts. The appointments are totally stress free and I go away feeling that I have been examined professionally, efficiently, yet in the most courteous and kindly manner. Roshni is a true asset for Boots.

I was concerned about long term back-up, product and day to day usage. These concerns were addressed, clarified and assured. I had hearing aids already but found them difficult to use and fiddly with insufficient support. Boots were more practical.
