I have been seeing Rashni Thanki for just over a year at Boots Hearing Department in Leicester. She dispensed a pair of Phonak hearing aids that I am now using. She has advised me on how I can can get the most out of them & overcome some minor troubles I have experienced. This service has always been provided in a competent, professional & friendly manner. A consultation has always been something to look forward to.

Gordon has been seeing Roshin Thankin at Boots hearing services Leicester for over a year now. She originally helped him to get the right hearing aids to suit his needs, we had a few on going appointments because he was struggling with them due to his own needs but Roshin was amazing every time we seen her helping Gordon to adjust to life with the hearing aids. A year later he is doing really well. Having just had his yearly review and all is going well. Roshin is always very helpful, friendly and definitely goes above and beyond making Gordon feel very comfortable during his appointment. Always there at the end of an email, phone if we need any help or advice 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Absolutly shocking phone service, ive been calling for over an hour and not one person has answered the phone. Its my birthday and i need the prescription as im unwell. I have better things to be doing than repeatdly ringing the number over and over!!

Roshni Thanki is brilliant. She explains everything so well and heips with any problems I have. I would recommend her to anyone needing hearing aids.

Straight from the get go, Roshni made me feel very welcomed, and relaxed. Roshni is very approachable, and clearly explained the procedure at every point along the way. She offered her professional opinion on several products, which were best suited to my requirements, and budget. Roshni is a credit to her profession, and the perfect ambassador for Boots.

I've been using the hearing aid and the service for a few years. The equipment does well for me. And, Roshni Thanki has been a great help. She is patient, extremely friendly and professionally excellent. I am enjoying the experience indeed.

Roshni is technically very competent and knowledgeable with first rate communication skills - professional but warm and friendly. It always feels like I get good advice.

Just completed my ‘mid term review’ having been fitted with Phonax hearing aids in January 2026.

I feel I must pay tribute to the hard work, professionalism and friendliness of Thanki Roshni my Audiology Consultant at Boots, Gallowtree Gate, Leicester. Thanki has been unfailingly courteous and patient in explaining every aspect of the provision, fitting and maintenance of the equipment and in answering all of my many questions. Thanki has a genuine interest in her profession and in making and delivering the best recommendations and possible outcome for her clients. Truly - wonderful service, Thanki. Thank you

I've been seeing Roshni at Boots Hearingcare since getting my first pair of hearing aids. I was extremely nervous after a terrible experience on the NHS, but Roshni immediately put me at ease.
She took the time to explain how my hearing was affected and what the hearing aids would actually do. I remember her explaining that I was missing lots of sounds from the alphabet, and suddenly everything made sense, my brain had been hearing bits of words and trying to fill in the gaps. Getting hearing aids made me realise just how much I’d been missing, and how much effort I’d been putting into hearing without even realising it.
Roshni supported me through that whole journey of adjusting to hearing again. It might sound strange, but I had to retrain myself not to concentrate so much on hearing all the time. She reassured me that it was okay to take the aids out and rest, and helped me gradually build up to wearing them all day.
I needed a lot of support at the beginning, and Roshni was always there, adjusting the settings, listening to my experiences, and helping me work through the challenges. That person-centred approach made such a huge difference.
What also makes Roshni special is the personal touch she brings. She remembers and asks about my family, and shares little bits about hers too, so appointments feel much more like catching up with a friend than simply receiving a service. In a world where everything can feel fast and transactional, that kind of genuine care really matters.

I attended with my elderly father and i was so impressed with Roshni's patients, with him, she took the time to listen to his concerns about using a hearing aid and she was polite explained the process assuring him of the benefits, its been 3 weeks now and he is over the moon, he struggled initially putting them in but on the 2 week follow up appointment Roshni gave him a different technique which worked. I can not praise her enough so professional and can tell she is very customer focused!

I have been visiting Roshni at Gallowtree Gate Leicester with my husband for the last 9 years starting with his first hearing test to fitting to most of his follow ups. She remembers who we are and our family and never fails to ask after them. She is a most sincere person and never fails to do a fantastic job and explains everything she's doing. She is truly amazing. Thank you Roshni for giving me back the man I married before he lost his hearing.

Roshni Thanki, the audiologist that we saw, has a very kind and caring nature and also explains things very clearly. She is very knowledgeable and carries out her role perfectly. l am very lucky to have Roshni taking care of my hearing needs.

Very helpful and friendly person. Knowlegeable in her trade and willing to repeat where necessary. Something I will probably not need going forward with the new aids though. I have had hearing aids from Boots in the past. I was recommended to change them which has proved to be a very good idea. It is the first time in 15 years that I have been able to carry out a technically involved conversation on the mobile with total confidence. Thanks to the new Bluetooth technology. So in total a complete five star experience.
