Failure to deliver....again
Having visited Boots hearing care and been told I needed hearing aids, I planned to attend Boots for collection of my aids on 20/03/26. I was rung on the morning to say they had missed the post and were not in store. So a new appointment was made for 02/04/26. I was rung that morning to say the hearing aids still had not been delivered to the store.......

Extremely good service
It was my first visit for hearing aids and I have to say James at the Tunbridge Wells location made it a very stress free appointment and has helped me throughout the procedure and I have nothing but praise for him he was exceptionally engaged and I was totally at ease with him.

We were late for our appointment, and he ensured we were seen even though he was so busy. My brother is shy about his disability yet James spoke to him, not down at him. A very positive experience
The Boots Hearingcare audiologist talked me through every step of the diagnostic testing with patient professionalism. She described with clarity the test results and offered alternative solutions, based on my personal requirements, as to how I may choose to move forward.
Although a range of aids that could be purchased was pointed out from a brochure and their various capabilities discussed and demonstrated as part of my appointment, I did not feel at any time under pressure to commit to making a decision there and then. I did decide to go ahead with a purchase but not at the time of that appointment.
In conclusion a very positive experience.

I had hearing aids fitted last July by Sean who was excellent but since then I have had a few problems with them but whenever I have had an appointment it has been less than satisfactory until my last two visits to James Brand who was absolutely excellent, he was engaged, interested, keen to solve any problems and understood that having spent a lot of money on the aids that you need to have maximum satisfaction. I can't speak highly enough of him - brilliant, a total asset.

Went in to buy a pack of wax filters…
Went in to buy a pack of wax filters for my hearing aid, only to be told they don't stock any and I have to order online (and pay for postage of course).
Ridiculous, especially when you think about those who may not have access to the internet or who struggle to use it and rely on the high street. How difficult is it to put these on a shelf or keep them in a drawer? They are not exactly short of space in there.
I hope they reconsider.

I returned to purchase the hearing aids and he kindly booked me a further appt. same day for the fitting, this also allowed him to charge them ready for my return. Brilliant service.
