Poor unprofessional service
The appointment was initially booked for the 12th of July and this was cancelled as the audiologist was sick. A further appointment was given to us on the 23rd of July. We arrived at Boots hearing care to find no one there. The call centre person advised us the appointment was cancelled but we were not informed. I am a medical professional myself. I have never seen such unprofessional service. Avoid at all costs.

New hearing aids
A hearing test, a hearing aids fitting and a follow up consultation with Arpitha in Boots Winchester. I was a bit nervous about the test but Arpitha was professional and reassuring which helped me quickly settle. She was informative and listened to my requests as she helped me choose a pair of hearing aids. The whole process was relaxed and pleasant and I now have exactly what I went in for. There is a support system available too if I have any problems. Would recommend.

I have not had good reports of hearing aids service from Boots, however I wanted to compare with the experience I had from two different aids providers.
The service I received was good, consequently I decided to buy the Phonak brand, particularly as I would be allowed to take them back if I was not totally satisfied after a few weeks of trail.

Everything from the test results to the hearing aid fitting process and features was explained in detail and in simple terms. The audiologist made sure I understood each element before proceeding.
