Mark explained things very carefully. I have a shunt fitted so the test needed to be carried out in a particular way and he handled the situation carefully and helpfully. I had been trying to arrange a test through the NHS, but one thing after another caused delays not least being sent away because they did not have the right equipment for my shunt! Boots got things right first time.

Mark, the opthalmologist I saw, was very professional and knowledgeable. He explained everything in detail without being patronising and I left the consultation confident that the outcome would be the correct one for me.

Mark was very pleasant and professional. He gave a full explanation, demonstration and sensible advice which I was happy to follow.

Fantastic experience. Audiologist Mark Lane made me very comfortable, explained everything clearly and answered questions without the jargon. Nothing was rushed, no pressure sales, listened to my concerns and gave detailed advice on use, charging and cleaning.

The follow-up email from the service is very well written and gives lots of advice and pointers for first time users.

I would happily recommend this service to friends and family - and have already done so.

The service generally was most efficient and the audiologist was professional and pleasant

I booked an online appointment on Saturday 3/02/2024 for a hearing test at my nearest Boots hearing care centre for 10 AM 7/02/24 on arrival at the store they had no knowledge of my appointment even though I had a screen capture of the details, what a complete waste of time. Beware of online booking.

Great service and do exactly what they say. Had their free hearing test and then tried a set of hearing aids on their 90 day trial. The audiologist at the Boots Hearingcare branch in Yate is great. Very informative, helpful and took time to explain things on the initial and follow- up visits. After 4 weeks of trying the Hearing Aids's out I decided they were not for me and as the offer says you can get a full refund which they did without any fuss. I would recommend Boots Hearingcare if you want to get a free hearing test and try out some HA's if you need them.

I have been to ENT but was told that the waiting list is between 6 months and a year!! At Boots the examination showed the same results as the hospital and, the audiologist was very helpful. He put me at my ease and explained everything, and I only have to wait a week for a fitting.
Yes it's a lot more expensive but, i lost my hearing after a Stroke at Christmas you have to weigh up the pros and cons and with the 90 day money back guarantee you can't lose.

Very sensitively dealt with an elderly nervous customer. Everything was explained clearly (and repeatedly when required until customer understood what was happening).

I found being able to try a hearing aid programmed to my specific hearing needs very helpful
