What an enraging experience has been trying to find accountable this joke of a brand Bosch for the piece of junk they sold us. Expensive garbage, bad customer service. I wouldn’t take another of their appliances for free

If I could rate it lower I would. I am still waiting for a call back regarding my dishwasher since last Friday. How long does it take? I would never buy another Bosch product as long as I live.

I purchased a Bosch Dishwasher from Home Depot on 4/9/25. It was installed on 4/15/25 by Home Depot. The dishwasher worked well for about 3.5 months, but then stopped working. I contacted Bosch support originally on 9/8/25. I was given #4105571609 and a repair was scheduled. When the repair company contacted me, they were in the middle of Pennsylvania and not in my area. I called Bosch back on 9/17/25 and they assigned a local repair company (Affordable TV and Appliance). The repair company came out on 10/8/25 but was unable to diagnose the issue. They sent another repair tech out on 10/14, and he was able to review the issue and identify required parts. The repair company ordered the parts. However, when I called for an update on 11/21/25, they advised Bosch had not approved the order. I then called Bosch back quite upset as it been over 2 months since the repair started. Part order was approved, and the repair company came out and replaced a pump on 12/2/25. The pump replacement did not solve the issue. He researched a bit and said he would order additional parts. I have been calling the repair company regularly, and as of today there no eta when my dishwasher will be repaired. It has now been 5 months since my repair ticket with Bosch has been open. The repair tech came to my house again on March 3rd with additional parts to replace. He replaced the parts and the dishwasher still did not work. He deemed the dishwasher irreparable. I contacted Bosch shortly thereafter and was asked to provide a zero balance receipt. Supplied the email that Home Depot sent when I purchased the dishwasher. This was insufficient per Bosch. Went to Home Depot and got a copy of the zeroed out invoice. Emailed the invoice to Bosch on 3/16. Had not heard back. Called and spoke with Bosch on 4/16, and was told that the information provided by Affordable TV and Appliance did not state that the dishwasher was irreparable. Bosch sent a list of repair techs asking that we start the process over concerning possibly repairing/replacing the dishwasher. The list included Affordable TV and Appliance. I also spoke with Chrissy from Affordable TV and Appliance on 4/16. Per her computer system, the master technician wrote that the dishwasher was irreparable. I asked that the manager, Kelly, call me back and provide me with copies of the information sent to Bosch.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this experience deserves one.

Our Bosch dishwasher failed completely after just 11 months, and it's now totally unresponsive. For something at this price point, that’s already hard to justify, and it only went downhill from there.

We had a technician out three separate times, and each visit meant waiting about a week for parts, then another two weeks just to get him back out. This dragged on for nearly two months. In the end, he admitted there was nothing he could do and shared that these units are largely made with cheap plastic components, which honestly explains a lot.

At the same time, dealing with Bosch warranty support was just as frustrating. I had registered the product within 30 days of purchase and already uploaded my Costco receipt, then provided it again when asked. They refused to accept the invoice directly from Costco’s site and told me I needed to go back to Costco for “proof of purchase.” When I sent the exact proof of purchase Costco emailed me, they claimed it looked like something I created in Word and implied I was trying to pass off a forgery. That was honestly the most insulting part of this whole process.

Even when it worked, the dishwasher was average at best, nowhere near worth the premium price. The bigger issue is the complete lack of respect for your time. Between the delays, the runaround, and the way this was handled, this was easily one of the most frustrating product experiences I’ve had.

Bosch has lost a customer for life. I would strongly recommend staying away.

Never buy a Bosch dishwasher! Although I had been a very happy Bosch dishwasher customer for decades, the one that I purchased in April 2024 was a disaster from the start. It started to malfunction within a few months and by June 2025, it became unusable. Although Bosch has promised that it would be repaired, it has not been! We got a lemon and our wonderful repairman has not been able to fix it, despite 7 repair trips to our house and multiple direct calls by him to Bosch. It was "escalated" several times and we were promised that supervisors would review our case and call us back. But no one EVER has called us back or helped. We have all of the documentation but Bosch doesn't seem to care. Amongst other things, the unit doesn't drain correctly, it leaks, it sometimes just shuts down, etc. etc., etc. There is no pattern to the malfunctioning. We have spoken to Natale, Dominica, David in Spain, and more "customer service" representatives that we can enumerate.
Bosch, if you are reading this, please reply to me immediately. I am no longer willing or able to be patient or understanding. Shame on you.

We purchased a Bosch dishwasher in February, and it worked flawlessly for four months. Since June, it has been out of service, and despite repeated attempts to resolve the issue(s) through Bosch support, the issue remains unresolved. The initial product quality was excellent, but the lack of timely support has been extremely disappointing. We chose Bosch for its reputation and reliability, and we hope the company will stand behind its products and make this right.

Bought a Bosch refrigerator in July. Stopped working in November. We now have to wait 2 for a warranty part. Bosch appliances are basically garbage with a pretty skin.

I am extremely disappointed with Bosch’s customer service and warranty support. It has now been almost two months since I filed a repair request for my washer, which is still under manufacturer warranty, and I’m still waiting.

After endless follow-ups, Bosch finally approved a replacement — but now I’ve been told that this could take several more weeks to process. That means I’ll have been without a working washer for nearly three months, which is completely unacceptable for a premium brand like Bosch.

I have sent multiple emails (none answered) and have called several times a week. Every time, I get the same scripted response and no option to escalate the case. The lack of communication, accountability, and urgency is shocking.

I chose Bosch because of its supposed reputation for quality and reliability, but this experience has proven otherwise. I will never purchase another Bosch appliance and strongly caution others to think twice before doing so.

I made a mistake buying the Bosch 800 series dishwasher. From reading reviews, I thought it had superior drying ability. It doesn’t. After a cycle completes, the walls and door are dripping with condensation. Some dishes and silverware and certainly everything in the third rack (top) needs to be dried with a dish towel. Bosch support said I had to open the door for ten minutes after the cycle completed to remove excess moisture. I live in a hot, humid environment and this is precisely what I didn’t want. It did help, but is frustrating since there’s no way to keep the door slightly open without using some sort of prop (stainless steel tea strainer in my case). Otherwise, the only option is to open the dishwasher fully, which then blocks the entrance to the kitchen. This is aggravating. I liked our previous Kitchen Aid dishwasher (with heating coil) much better. It broke a couple times but would still have been a better option since it was much less expensive than this one.

Purchased 2 Bosch 800 series dishwashers. Neither is great and neither dries very well, but 1 has not cleaned properly at all. I spent hours and hours and hours on the phone trying to get Bosch to fix the dishwasher under warranty but they were an absolute nightmare to deal with. When I finally did get someone out to look at it, he said there was nothing he could do. I wasted $2600 on dishwashers. Could've bought cheap ones that did a better job

I bought a Bosch 800 Series Over the Range Microwave. It's only three months old, and the grill has fallen apart. I talked to Bosch's customer service representative, and she said it is still under warranty. However, speaking to this customer service several times (both by phone and email) was a nightmare. Bosch has the worse customer service. To cover the warranty, the sale receipt must show every product detail. I went and talked to Home Depot, where I purchased the product. They printed a copy of the original receipt, which was unsatisfactory. For example, the Bosch lady said the receipt must show the payment, whether it was cash, check, or card. The receipt indicated that it was paid for by card, which was unsatisfactory. Worse, the receipt clearly shows Home Depot as the sales department. The lady continued to question where the product was purchased. Ultimately, I have to fix the broken part on my own. This will be the first and last time I ever purchase any Bosch products. If anyone is ever thinking about buying Bosch products, you must think about the nightmare you'll encounter when talking to their customer service representative. I would give Bosch a rating of 0 instead of a 1 star.

I bought a Bosch Built-in Coffee Machine model BCM8450UC. This is the worst decision I ever made. The coffee maker costs $3,600 and it requires a special cabinet in order to be built-in to our new kitchen. The coffee maker has had repeated problems despite being babied with regular cleaning and filtered water. It is out of warranty now and The NOBODY services these machines. So the warranty is USELESS!!! Bosch USA service is terrible. Boach sent me a list of three authorized service repair companies in my area. I called all three and they all said they do not repair Bosch Coffee Makers. So, if you buy this coffee maker you need to know that it WILL break and that you will NOT be able to get ANYONE to service it. @Bosch if you’re going to sell these machines then you need to ensure that someone will service them. What a piece of junk.

Bosch customer service has been drastically reduced. New Bosch 800 series dishwasher had no ability to hold tall, 7” water glasses safely. Following instructions resulted in 3 broken glasses over first week. Customer service could not have been less helpful.Online I entered the model/serial/FDO number, my name, address & tel. 3 times & again twice when speaking with first representative. Again with 2nd person.
Almost 1 hour in, they advised ordering plastic hooks, gave order number to order myself. $90+, shipping and a week later the hooks don’t fit my machine. Returns require another call, wait & I have to pay postage for their mistaken advice. Waited 2 weeks for promised RMA & had to call again - same time wasting. 2 more weeks & no refund yet. Atrocious service!

I bought 2 Bosch dishwashers of their most expensive dishwasher model.

The first one broke down after just 1 year of usage and the second one after 2,5 years, after leaking for 6 months.

I have now changed them out to Miele dishwashers since Bosch’s dealer could not fix them even though they were quite new and should have been under warranty when the failures begun.

We accepted a new dishwasher that did not work as it had taken 7 to 9 months to arrive. The condition was that it would be repaired by Bosch. They sent a repairman who found the machine had been dropped and had a crack. He got it working, but said it would have problems. He took photos, wrote a report. Since that time, nearly one year ago, we have had many many many calls with Bosch, they continue to say the person with authority will call us, they never do. Now it is broken -- with the error discovered by the repairman -- and we are still not getting their attention. Lesson? NEVER accept a product that does not work and know their customer service does not exist. We will need to take bigger action.

Bosch Home has the worst customer service I have experienced in my entire life - We bought a Bosch Fridge in January of 2022. We did not even use the fridge until April of 2022 because we were renovating the kitchen. It has since April broken and been repaired twice and now we have been without a fridge for 3 months and they are still giving me the run around after they told me they would be replacing it. I just called again after hearing nothing when I was told a dealer credit would be sent to Lowes in 3-5 days 2 weeks ago. I have asked to speak to a supervisor multiple times and have been told one would call me and have never had that happen. I called today and asked if I would wait for a supervisor and was told they would disconnect the call if I did not hang up. This is not acceptable.

Built-In Convection Microwave Oven (Speed Oven) HMC 54151UC ATTENTION! My daughter purchased this for me, and sadly, The Oven Rack Does NOT PULL OUT so I can check on whatever I’m baking, and for basting, etc. So you must lift Out the Rack or whatever your backing, or broiling in order to attend to it. Called Bosch and they said the rack does not slide out because there is also a built-on microwave. What the heck does that have to do with anything when I’m baking?? Terrible! First called the ph# on website and it went to the UK. Terrible service, kept me waiting on hold when asked to speak to a supervisor. Never came back on the line. Nad experience all the way around. Would NEVER recommend Bosch! Also, made in China

Purchased a new high-end, dual-fuel convection oven range during a kitchen remodel. Range works great, and the unit is gorgeous. But -- and this is kind of critical for preparing food -- the oven has never worked. Not a single day.

Now 7 months into owning it, with at least 3 visits by the technician, there is still no solution in sight. Customer service is not helpful with timelines, or contacting me. The only time I make any progress is when i chase them down repeatedly.
