Paid £1200 for an Omega watch service, new bevel and face in early August 2021 (6 months ago). Requested a quote for a new Ebel watch strap at the same time. After c. 3 months of not hearing anything at all from anyone at Bradley’s I dropped into the Stonegate shop at the end of October/ start of November to be advised that the watch had ‘just been returned from the third party servicer’ (very convenient that) and Bradley’s quality check had confirmed it was now like brand new. So radical was the transformation, I was informed, that I would be shocked. Upon high level inspection, however, it became clear that no work had been done on the watch at all. No watch movement, the same scratches on the bevel, still corroded hands and faded face. I was definitely shocked. After many apologies, but no plausible rationale as to how this had happened and/ or how the quality check had not picked this up, I was told it would be sent back to the third party servicer and the work prioritised. I was also told that Bradley’s were, after 3 months, still actively sourcing a new Ebel watch strap. After not hearing anything again from Bradley’s for weeks and weeks I dropped into the store again at the start of December 2021. After more, hallow, apologies I was told that return of the watch was being chased regularly and that a discount was being discussed with the third party servicer to compensate for my inconvenience. No promises were made but the expectation was I would have the watch back before Christmas. I was also advised that Bradley’s had still been unable to source a new Ebel watch strap. Funny because following my return home it became apparent that there are lots and lots of these advertised / available online. I’m no Jeweller but appear to be able to source watch parts much more effectively than Bradley’s. Following a further c 2 months of radio silence we are now at the end of January 2022. Following another trip to the Stonegate store today and loads more excuses/ hallow apologies I still have no serviced Omega and no new Ebel watch strap. I am being told that the return of the Omega is being chased ‘everyday’ by email, Bradley’s can’t show me the evidence though despite this being requested. I have now been without 2 expensive Swiss watches and £1200 of my hard earned money for c6 months. Just really want the watches back and my money refunded. Lost the will to live with this. Thankfully got the Ebel back today, still no sign of the Omega and still a £1200 hole in my wallet. Bradley’s refusing to refund. I will without doubt be using a more reputable Jeweller in future, really wish I would have walked into Berry’s next door. What a mistake. Small claims court my next step if no change in position.

I would highly recommend Bradley’s in Harrogate I have just retired from NHS and wanted to treat myself to a special ring after nearly 40yrs service. I have visited several jewellers and until I visited Bradley’s I felt a lack of genuine personal commitment and experience and felt talkative the other jewellers wanted a quick sale. I wanted to purchase the right ring which was special to me and a memory of my NHS service. I received outstanding service from Jane in Bradley’s Harrogate and felt she wanted the best for me. I am delighted with my ring and very grateful for the support and guidance from Jane. I will definitely return to Bradley’s as I would now like to have some earrings made from my old diamond rings and have no hesitation in asking Bradley’s to support me with this. I did have an appointment booked at Tiffany’s in New York for a ring in 2 weeks time but based on my experience in the last 2 weeks and the quality of the diamonds and the ring I have now cancelled my Tiffany’s appointment and so delighted to pick up my beautiful ring today. I decided to have a ring made for my wife for her birthday, and visited the Harrogate store. On my arrival the staff were attentive, I explained what I would like to have made with Peter, and after a consultation he made some excellent suggestions.
The ring design was 3 different colour gold bands wrapped around each other with diamonds inlaid. Peter explained the design process and approximate timescales, thou the ring was delivered a few days late, I was kept informed of the delay and it was still in time for the birthday. The was ring was beautifully gift wrapped which saved me wrapping this.
The service was excellent from start to finished, and the ring was beautifully made and fit perfectly (measurement taken from another of her rings). My wife loves this ring.

We went to Bradley’s for our wedding rings as we wanted a local jewellers and one our family had history with. (Father in law also doesn’t use them anymore for similar bad experiences)
Our initial visit was met with a lack or acknowledgment or care but we thought maybe Covid made situations difficult even though we suspected they just didn’t think we would spend what they wanted us to. A flash of my fiancé’s engagement ring soon solved that!
So we returned again and settled upon my ring.
It did however need re-sizing.
Long long long story short…..My wedding ring was incorrectly sized a total of 4 times!! I had to get married with a badly fitting ring. And when complained it was insinuated that somehow it was my fault the ring didn’t fit?!
When I took it back after our wedding I was told it would be resized “with urgency” but there was a total lack of compassion, customer service or urgency-staff were rude. After a 2 week wait we rang them to chase where the ring was and they were rude!! So much so I was told that I had no choice but to drive to Harrogate to collect my ring “or else wait until we get it to Northallerton”.
Collected the ring. They tried to charge me and the ring condition has been totally compromised.
Sadly their customer service and my experience leaves me not even wanting to face the matter more and I am seeking another jewellers to rectify the problems.

Not somewhere I will ever shop again. I had a problem with something bought in Northallerton and discovered that they do the absolute legal minimum in such a case.
There were none of the little human touches which create customer loyalty. Read some of their responses to negative reviews to get the feel of the company. It's clearly no coincidence that their shops do best in areas with high visitor throughput rather than regular local trade; no doubt why the Northallerton one is closing.

We had such a good experience at Bradley's in York when we were recently shopping for our wedding rings. The ladies in the shop made us feel very welcome and gave us great advice on the rings, catered to our needs (price and size wise) and were very patient with us too. As a bonus we got a drink and a cupcake while we were in the shop and also a bottle of prosecco to go with our purchase! I could not recommend them more!

This has to be one of the best experiences we have ever had in a jewellery store, in fact in any store. These ladies go the extra mile, nothing was too much trouble. They make you feel so welcome. Kelly even cleaned my rings whilst I was making up my mind. The quality of customer service was outstanding. I can recommend this store if you want a professional service. Well done ladies 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

Called in to Stonegate Branch, York today. I went to sell a watch and got a great deal. Ended up exchanging it for an eternity ring and a repair on my engagement ring. The staff are well educated and more than friendly. Excellent service, nothing is too much trouble. I will return in about four weeks time.

Called in today to look and bought a nice second hand watch. The staff was nice and helpful ,,its nice to see helpful and pleasant people. Great shop for York.

Recently purchased a ring from the Harrogate branch. Mark and Jane provided friendly, knowledgeable and exceptional service.

Took a Tag watch in to get a pin replaced as it had somehow come out.. The woman clearly didn't know what she was talking about, says they come with extra pins in the box, but they don't!

Apparently they don't stock Tag watches either but they do..

Stated they cannot fix it and then backtracked and said they would have to order the part, and there would be a service charge of £20 plus the cost of the pin and I would also need to buy a link I do not need, this is for something that is literally only a couple of £££ ... Would recommend going somewhere who knows what they are doing. I bought a £2000 Raymond Weil from them not so long back, but will go elsewhere .. Don't be ripped off people

Just looking at the other reviews and it would seem Bradleys are quite hostile with their responses if they don't like your review this is on Google reviews, they do not respond here .... All the more reason to go elsewhere.

I wasn't going to leave a review here but then I got a
really aggressive and rude response to another review, the woman did not know what she was talking about .. What an incredibly rude shop, avoid at all costs these people are vastly over priced, they do sell items they tell you they don't and there are far more friendly jewellers around who won't charge you a premium so be spoken to like you are a parasite .... Head to Browns The Jewellers, lovely family shop, very friendly and charge very reasonable prices for repairs, they only charged me £7 to replace a pin that these robbers wanted in excess of £50 for.

They don't even apologise for their rude behaviour, how arrogant..

I just want to say Sarah and Kelly are the most welcoming and loveliest employees I have ever met! There hospitality skills are absolutely phenomena, will definitely come back here and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing service and beautiful jewellery!

We purchased our wedding rings in December and the customer service was amazing as always. My ring needed to be made by the manufacturer and due to the lockdown, I was advised there would be a delay in getting the ring (which was no problem for me). I was pleasantly surprised to receive a text message from Bradley's with an update and was told my ring would be hand delivered to my address. I completely expected to pick my ring up from the York shop when they open up but this was a lovely personal touch to make sure my ring was delivered to me in advance. The ring is perfect and I am so happy! Thank you to Bradleys!

Terrible terrible! lack of service and poor communication. The delivery took a-lot longer than expected and finally arrived late, after several chasing emails and calls, for my step-daughter’s 21st birthday so I had to purchase something else. After making several attempts to arrange a return and refund I never heard back. It was as though they had disappeared! I am left with a late and unwanted gift.

My wife and I were in York recently and happened to see a ring in Bradley's window. We had our dog with us but that was no problem and rather than the dog and I having to wait outside we were all invited in by the lovely staff. The two young ladies in the shop could not have been nicer. My wife chose a ring but it needed to be resized. As we do not live anywhere near York, Kelly advised she would have the ring sized and posted on to us. It would take slightly longer than usual due to the Covid restrictions. We were more than happy to wait, as the ring was beautiful and my wife loved it. The ring arrived today and my wife could not be happier. It was in a superb presentation box, tied with a gold ribbon, together with a lovely personalised card to my wife from Kelly. What marvelous customer service this is. I think it is only right that it is acknowledged. The next time we are in York, we will certainly visit Bradley's again. Just a lovely experience from begining to end, I can't recommend them highly enough.

Recently purchased a watch from Bradley's in Scarborough, very friendly service and given a good discount. Delighted with the watch and service, will go to them again.

Having been let down by a well know high street jeweller I ask Bradleys if they could help me find a ring for my wife's upcoming 50th birthday. Peter got back in touch very quickly and from the outset could not have been more helpful. the quality, service and price were brilliant. This was in April so at the height of the lock down so he could have brushed me off like a couple of other jewellers did. Thank you for your great service Peter. It was very much appreciated and above all my wife absolutely adores her ring.

My husband took my engagement ring to be resized in early March. Unfortunately we were unable to collect the ring when they phoned to say it was ready and planned to collect the following weekend but then lockdown started and we couldn't travel and shops had to be closed. As it was approaching 3 months from when the ring was left I contacted Bradley's by email just to check that there wouldn't be any issue with us leaving it so long. Despite the shops being closed, I received a reply almost immediately from Kay who was so helpful and reassuring. Since then I have had regular emails from Kay and Claire as it's still such a grey area of when shops should reopen. I am so grateful for their communication and kindness in a time where no one knows what to do and I am impressed with how they have put safety first. I am happy knowing that my ring is safe with them (I was only looking into it as it was being resized to a smaller size and I'm now six months pregnant and may soon miss the window where it fits!). As we are in the middle of relocating as well, they have helped us out immensely by allowing us to collect the ring from a branch nearer to where we are now based. I couldn't ask for better service. I hope that theirs shops can reopen soon as it must be very difficult being a business during this pandemic. Thank you to everyone at Bradley's who has helped us, Kay and Claire especially.

I am on the brink of taking this company to court. I have sent numerous emails and left phone messages yet no one responds. I realise that they are closed due to current COVID 19 restrictions, however, not to monitor emails or answer phone messages is totally unprofessional. My diamond ring (engagement ring) which was sent to them for repair was lost by Royal Mail (who have admitted liability) on the return journey. They have informed me that Bradleys Jewellers need to submit the claim as they are the senders of the parcel or give me the receipt/proof of postage and I can submit the claim. This loss was early March 2020, Royal Mail informed me that they will settle all claims within 30 days. I am unsure at this stage if Bradleys Jewellers have submitted a claim, also the claim must be made within 90 days of the recorded loss, therefore the opportunity to claim will run out in May 2020. The lack of professionalism, compassion and action from this company is totally unacceptable. I have just created an account and will now file a small claims court action against them.

Amazing service and kind staff. Couldn't be happier with the experience, they have a great variety of products and the prices are very fair.
