Had this company out for a quote for 7 new windows and the sales guy (Bez) seemed nice. He then gave us a hugely inflated price of £9.8k but if we went ahead today, it was 8k. I was honest and said we’ve got others coming to quote us. He became rude asking what was wrong with the price, said other companies quality will be rubbish. When I asked for the price again, he said there was no point writing down the 8k which is ‘today’s price’ and to just write the 9.8k price. When I asked what is the average waiting time for installation, he said there was no point telling me coz I’m not going ahead. Ridiculous and rude sales people. Went with a local company which was half the price. Avoid these!!!

Wouldn't measure anything with just my wife at home. They needed me (a man but used some wierd "its the law" answer). She told him it wasn't 1940. Lots of talk & finally told us they could do 20k, magically rang his boss and got it down to 13k. Even the lower price was double the last 4 quotes we've had. Lurked, chatted & pretty much used any typical slime sales tactics. Literally ran out the door when we told him this. We're wise enough to scatter these cowboys but seeing my elderly neighbour down the street using them, I dread to think how much they've paid. Tell anyone you know to avoid, nothing "budget" about them.

Budget windows came to price up 8 windows and 2 doors going through their ‘recycling scheme’.

Salesman was fairly polite until he started questioning about my partner. Even though I persistently said it was my house and my decision about the property they frequently asked me how my partner would feel and wished he was there.

The price quoted was ridiculous! Close to £15k! They talked through finance options but this seems more of a scam to lure you in as you give an ideal monthly figure but they automatically base it on an 10 year period with very high interest rates, racking up to actually paying £24k if I went with the finance options.

The salesman then put his boss on speakerphone whilst still in the house, obviously trying to apply more pressure for the sale. Stating again he wished my partner was present, however seeing the windows would not change minds about the ridiculous pricing!

I worry about vulnerable people who may not think to google the usual costs of fitting windows in a house and would just accept the price as gospel.

Seemed very sexist to keep mentioning my partner and seemed to want to deal with him rather than the actual homeowner (myself).

The salesmen talk the talk and give these stories, which I’m sure yes new windows will improve the heat in the house, but to say they are competitively priced is a bit of a joke after speaking to people who have had bespoke windows put in in London for £8k

Go independent or shop around, these guys definitely aren’t worth it

Good communication, on time and the lads who came did a fantastic job. From start to finish this was a great company to deal with from purchase to installation.

Price was way too expensive for me.

The installation manager and team were excellent. The lads were very efficient but also friendly and respectfull to my mother and neighbours. Excellent job and gorgeous porch.

Excellent service from begining to end quality product. Engineer was spot on and really took care in his work not just installation but the care in presentation and functionality.

Salesman showed us the the windows and made every simple and easy to understand we get them fitted in the new year and all being well I hope they will not only look good but save us on heating bills too.

Budget told us fitters would arrive between 8/9 bang on 8 they arrived. Introduced themselves and straight on with the job. What a team first class job they never stopped fitted 11 windows and 2 doors within 2 days. 10/10

Today I had my kitchen back door installed.
Rob the installer was friendly and professional.
He explained about the components of the door which make it secure and robust.Then he set to work and finished it in good time. He was very tidy and took all the rubbish away along with my old door.
I was delighted with the outcome. The door looks amazing and makes my kitchen.
I unreservedly recommend Budget Windows if you are wanting a first class service.

When the sales rep xame, I asked for 2 sash windows, exactly the same with same finishes as my existing sash windows. I asked for chrome fittings and got white. One minute somebody phoned me saying it would be changed, the next minute it is my fault as on the survey it says white. I was very hesitant to pay full amount before installation but had no choice. Now nothing I can do apart from being upset whenever I look at the 2 sash windows with white fittings. I saved hard for those windows and I wish I had stuck to the previous company. Very poor customer service. Only interested in the morning ey.

My door was to be a replacement for a uPVC door fitted into a non-standard Victorian doorway. The existing door had been a poor quality bodged job. The fitters removed everything back to the original brickwork. The installation was precise and accurately fitted and well finished.

Professional explained what they were doing and done a great job. When one piece of the window had a small gap came back next day fixed it straight away.

The fact that we had a good fitter bye the name Rob. Top guy. He was very thorough in his work. Very polite had time for the customer and finished of his work withpride. The windows are very good quality. And look good. And no negatives. Keep the good work up. Thanks.

Excellent service from Budget windows. I had a bedroom bay window fitted by Rob. He’s a super guy , helpful and friendly and he did a marvellous job . Clean and tidy workmanship . He definitely deserves a five star rating .

We are very delighted at the quality and fitting of our windows,by Rob.His work is immaculate.He was very respectful to our home .He cleared up everywhere leaving us with our beautiful new windows.A lovely pleasant guy who takes great pride in his work.Thanks Rob,for a fantastic job.

We recently had our front door and french door replaced.
Great product, very friendly sales person and surveyor, excellent communication from Jane and cracking workmanship by dan and phillip
