Always find their gear fits true to size and well made. Sleeve lengths can vary but its not a deal breaker. Its also a bit different to the usual brands. Their winter jerseys are not fit for UK or Irish winters. Given the prices of this kit, charging €12 for postage is a bit rich.

I've bought a few items previously and all been high quality and good fit. I bought a pair of bib shorts in recent sale and noticed leg grippers not holding. Got in touch with Cafe du Cycliste who sent new pair, no questions asked.
It's expensive kit but customer service was fantastic and for me in keeping with the quality nature of the brand.

I ordered a substantial amount of kit, which never made it past U.S. Customs and is now on its way back to France. Cafe du Cycliste didn't provide information required by DHL to get through Customs and after three attempts over three days to get this information from Cafe du Cycliste (who still haven't responded or even acknowledged my e-mail) and DHL threatening to charge a storage fee, DHL initiated a return. Worst experience I've ever had ordering from overseas.

Ordered $1,678 worth of clothing from California. Want to return half of it due to fit. There was no charge for shipping on original order. They told me to ship back to them in France. Fedex wanted me to pay $250 to do that. Then got bill for receiving the product for $481.56! Am trying to get Fedex to redirect the bill but not holding much hope.

Their customer service appears to be non-existent. Why they sell to US market without a means of returns is dumb founding.

J'envoie donc un mail, une relance et j'attends toujours la réponse! Pensant à un dysfonctionnement , je fais faire la même manipulation à une de mes amies (idem: réception d'un code (différent du mien- sur sa boîte mail, tentative de commande -de mes produits- via son ordinateur et avec ledit code....QUI NE FONCTIONNE PAS NON PLUS.Envoi d'un mail par mon amie au service clientèle.....sans réponse également..
Dommage parce que les produits ont l'air sympa mais le service clientèle nullissime or pour une marque de ce type c'est important. Je n'ose imaginer ce que ça doit être en cas de retour d'articles!

High quality garments and unique designs. Makes me want to ride!

Sizing is inconsistent between styles so it is kind of hit or miss on fitting. This is very important for high performance cycling kit so a bit frustrating.

Also, very EXPENSIVE for a D2C brand.

I purchase a lot of gear from Velocio and their sizing is very consistent across their line.

The biggest issue (for me in the States) is that customer service is very, very slow. Returns/exchanges are difficult and costly so the whole order/purchase process is very lengthy.

I wish they had a showroom in the States so I could try things on. I really like their gear but inconsistent sizing and the hassle of exchanging items is not worth it.

I don’t normally write reviews but had to given the one stars on here.
I had a quibble about the shrinkage on my jersey, and was helped very responsibly by email and was sent a replacement. The quality of the kit is also first class. I have bib shorts from cdc that are years old and still more comfortable and look better than new ones from other brands.

Bad quality and horrible customer service. Bought a shirt in a store in Vienna and noticed that a seam was not correctly stitched after unpacking. After contacting Café du Cycliste directly, they wouldn't want to take any responsibility and told me I would have to deal with the store, where I bought the shirt. Also the store (Veletage, Vienna) wouldn't want to help me with my problem and would make me pay for any shipping of a defect product that I bought full price. Unacceptable service and quality!

Kann die schlechten Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Bestelle seit 2017 hatte noch nie irgendeinen Grund zur Reklamation, die Artikel haben eine exzellente Qualität und werden größtenteils in Europa gefertigt. Die Preise sind entgegen mancher Behauptung mit denen von Mitbewerben wie Raphael vergleichbar,wobei Rapha überwiegend in Asien produziert.

Ordered Christmas present on Novemeber 26th and still have not received a ship date. Zero response from their non-existent customer service.
So disappointing.

Customer service is virtually non-existent for online purchases. I placed an order and immediately after I wanted to change the size, it was impossible to contact them and they took 4 days to respond when the order had already been shipped. I had to pay shipping costs for a size change on a pair of socks valued at 15 euros.

The quality of the clothing is good but the prices seem disproportionate and overpriced compared to other brands such as Rapha and Etxeondo.

Very nice products, although a bit overpriced. Unfortunately, the high price level and good quality is not reflected at all in the customer service. There is no telephone number to reach a customer service representative. When you send emails, you often get a response many days, if not at least a week later, which is then even insufficient and unhelpful. Unfortunately, despite the high price, no return is included, which is relatively expensive, as you have to send the products to France for 15 euros. In my case, it was not possible to arrange a return online. I waited more than a week for a reply on how to send my return, which meant that the 15-day withdrawal period had already been exceeded. Just for your information: this review is not based on a one-off experience! I love the products and hate the service.

Bought clothing, they then use useless DHL that dump the parcel on the street and do not ring doorbell and so item stolen. Was in house, so no excuse. No way to contact cafe du cyclist, or DHL as tracking number says invalid.

Do not order online from this firm as does not work, you will just lose your item and your money
