Ordered a candle earlier this month when on offer, buy one get one free. The candle arrived yesterday but only one and it was broken in the box. When we contacted the company they asked that we send a picture which we did. When we asked about the free candle they said we had ordered and paid on the last day of the offer so it wasn’t dealt with by them until the next day so we couldn’t get the free candle. No apology given or offer to send out replacement for broken candle. All they said was they would refund. Never use again or recommend to anyone.

Brilliant customer service from Candles Direct. I ordered two Yankee Candles last week and was slightly concerned when my tracking told me the parcel was in Northern Ireland when I live just outside of London. I emailed the customer service email and they replied within two hours to say there was nothing to worry about as this is where their warehouse is. The parcel arrived a couple of days later! Will definitely be buying from them again..

My honest experience was a great one. I read some bad reviews on here so paid with paypal to be safe. The delivery charge was £3.95 which is amazing considering I bought 2 large candles which are not exactly light. I got an email to say order confirmed and dispatched and they arrived well packaged and quickly. The yankee candles I bought were out of season so that's why they sell them so cheap. I love the autumn and winter smells so perfect for me! I will be using this site again. Thank you.

Do not not use this company . Excessive postage charges . Tried to cancel my order immediately but was unable to . Staff really unhelpful said they would refund . Would not trust a company that cannot cancel an order immediately. If they cannot do this unlikely to get refund .

Love this company - they have huge variety of stock and there's always an offer on so you never have to pay full price for anything. I ordered some new Yankee Candle Frangrance Spheres and they arrived within a few days, well-packaged and are ready to go! Would always recommend them for anything fragrance related.

Great products and great prices. Candles arrived well packaged. After ordering I read the reviews so I was a bit apprehensive that my order would arrive. Delivery was the only thing that let this company down, delivery took 9 days, even though it was posted with Royal Mail 48 hour so I’m thinking they mark the item as dispatched but actually don’t post till later on. I had orders from France & the outer Hebrides that arrived in 3 days so they can’t blame covid-19. I would probably order again but I’d order way in advance of actually needing the item.

J'ai commandé plusieurs fois et je n'ai jamais été déçue. Les prix sont intéressants par rapport à d'autres sites, il y a du choix. Personnellement, je suis fan de Yankee Candle, et j'y trouve mon bonheur. Par ailleurs, il y a un système de points de fidélité qui permet d'avoir une réduction supplémentaire. Je trouve le service client très réactif également, lorsque par exemple le code promo sur la livraison ne passe pas, j'envoie un mail et une solution satisfaisante m'est apportée rapidement.
Pour ma part, je reste cliente.

I've used Candles Direct quite a few times now. Their prices are good and I find their deliveries prompt and always very well packaged.
I had a Royal Mail issue with my delivery once and when I contacted Candles Direct found their customer service good.
Would recommend and will continue to use them.

*Just to add that their loyalty scheme is really good. I've used them maybe 7 or 8 times now and on my recent order when redeeming my points I expected a £ or so off I actually had £10! Definitely worth doing.
Another prompt, well packed delivery today. Never had an issue.

Having seen some negative reviews (after I'd already placed my order!) I was a little nervous.
However, my experience has been very positive. My full order was received in the time frame advised, well packed with no damages.

I ordered a couple of candles that were showing in stock only to receive an email a couple of days later saying the candles were “out of stock” & I should email them back to order another item/s.
I emailed them requesting a full refund 7 times (no reply), I phoned them a number of times only to connect immediately to a recorded voicemail, I left them a voicemail (no reply).
Thankfully I paid via PayPal so I contacted PayPal who followed it up & within minutes I had an email from candlesdirect confirming a full refund!
Do not waste your time of money with this company!

One of the worst customer services I have dealt with. Excessive delivery charges for items that would normally cost just 90p delivery.

They emailed me a shipping discount voucher to encourage me to complete a purchase I was considering.

It didn't work when I tried to apply the code so I emailed them. They ignored it so I emailed again. Again ignored. I telephoned on 3 separate occasions and each time got a 'no one is available to take your call' message.

Finally I complained via their website. They've ignored that too.

What a shocking outfit. I'll never ever use them

I ordered a candle set two weeks haven’t received it.. so I contacted them they told me to wait 10 days as I did, after 10 days they told me my parcel has been lost? I paid 3.95 not for my parcel to come to me after so long but it hasn’t even arrived, would not recommend this site at all

Simply dreadful!
Ordered some melts that were sent to a completely different person and address!
I wouldn't have known had it not been for the unintended recipient emailing me (he had no luck whatsoever trying to contact CandlesDirect).
Tried to email twice to get the situation resolved with zero success.
Maybe this review will get a response?

I was a little bit hesitant to order because of some bad reviews, however really pleased with my purchase! Lovely affordable prices for Yankee candles specifically, delivered within a week and packaged really well, will definitely be using again for some savings especially on branded candles!

I wanted a candle quickly and paid £3.95 for 24 hr Royal Mail 1st class delivery. Once despatched, they advised that it was going to take 3-5 days, possibly 10 to arrive. Be very wary of this bunch. I've asked them to refund for the service they did not provide and will post again when successful.

I've used candledirect for a while now and ive got to say that I've never had any problems with them, they are AMAZING. Placed an order on Friday and oh my just received it this morning. That was super fast delivery. Thank you so much candledirect.

Superb company providing exceptional candles and accessories. I purchased a woodwick sacred smoke large jar that arrived very quickly and the customer service is second to none! Very highly reccomended.
