Being relatively new to the world of whiskey/whisky, I did some research and ended up buying some casks with this company.
Made some purchases, fine. Then another cask was dangled. So I purchased that one back in early November 2022. It was sold to me as a 300 litre cask at a particular price. Got the invoice, paid, etc etc.
Then some time afterwards they told me it wasn't actually a 300 litre cask, it was a 225 litre cask!
Ofcourse there would be a partial discount but I wasn't happy with the amount. They said the distillery had decided that. Have no idea where the fault lay, of course never will.
Anyway, the point is, we are now mid June and I STILL haven't received the partial refund. No word of it since November!! Not had a single call or mail related to this matter either! In this or any day and age, unacceptable!!
But particularly as a new customer I am astonished that this has been ignored for so long......I actually want a full refund now on that cask asap due to breach of contract or Trading Standards will be knocking on their door.....they've had nearly 8 months after all......
UPDATE; As of several days later still no word on where the refund is!
FURTHER UPDATE; Received full refund 17 July 2023.

Recently toured the Boann Distillery following an invitation from London Cask Co.
Theo and the team were extremely attentive on the day which was an absolute joy. I previously invested in a Cask from Boann and finding out about the distillery and the people involved has reinforced my belief that London Cask Co. care deeply about their customers.

From my initial enquiry to eventual purchase of several casks the service and advice provided by the LCC was excellent with never a hint of the 'hard sell'.
I would definitely recommend using the LCC if you are thinking of investing in Irish Whiskey.
The visit to the Boann distillery is also a must.

Aaron and the other staff have been very approachable and helpful in guiding me with my whiskey investments. No hard sales and also great distillery tours to see where the whiskey journey starts. A very good company indeed, and totally trustworthy.

Purchased a cask of Boann whiskey a year ago. The process was explained in detail and backed up with appropriate paperwork. Once the liqueur was in the bonded warehouse I received a photograph of it along with the storage certificate. Hoping its value increases significantly - otherwise I’ll have to drink it !!

Always kept up to date, & informed about my investment. Very happy with London Cask.

London Cask Co. Ltd. have satisfied my due diligence and researches into the whiskey investment business. The ownership, cask ID and storage location documentation has been received. I am as assured as reasonably exepcted that my investments are a valid choice.

They are extremely professional, but also really friendly...they are never overbearing, but keep me informed of every opportunity. The trip to a distillery where I have some casks was both informative and fun, and I look forward to investing more in the future.

The company did everything I asked them to do in a very efficient manner.
Even to the point where I could not open one of the documents on computer they sent it straight away in a different format.

When I read an article in the Observer a few weeks back about how risky it can be to invest in whiskey my blood ran a little cold, but then I noticed they used London Cask Co at the end of the article as the trustworthy company to go to for comment and I suddenly felt a lot better.
I approached London Cask Co after deciding I wanted a better return on my money than Premium Bonds and seeing an advert in The Week magazine; they gave me very useful advice about how to invest in whiskey and steered me towards an investment that made me nearly 20% on one cask in my first year.
They always seem to have their finger on the pulse on which distilleries offer good value and win awards and which casks offer the best returns.
They don't use high pressure sales techniques and they are always friendly and informative when discussing investments.

I have since invested a second tranche of my savings with them and will probably entrust them with a third investment later this year.

No investements are ever 100% secure from failure but you know with London Cask comapny that all your costs including bond are included and that you own that cask of whiskey.

Had been toying with the idea of getting involved. After a few months of discussions and questions I made the decision to jump in.

Throughout my constant questions and asking for delays in phone calls etc...the service was just top notch.

If you're thinking about getting involved with Whiskey, these are certainly the people who will look after you.

My casks have already increased in value after only a few months, so I look forward to the results at the point I look at an exit strategy.

I’ve had good communication with the people who run the business, they phone you up and give you information regarding my investment they even make you aware of other investments.they keep you informed of every aspect of the business and make feel welcome.

From the first time I started having conversations with Lcc I never felt pressurised into purchasing any casts. I took my time and Tom was at the other end of phone if needed to answer any questions. V good service

We really knew very little about Whiskey Investments until last Christmas. After thorough research I contacted 3 Companies including London Cask Co Ltd. I received a call back from Tom White from London Cask Co on 5 January and the experience was so good we purchased 3 pallets (15 Casks) by 17 January.. This was totally due to the transparent & detailed explanations provided plus there was absolutely no "pressure selling" at any time. Our Contact is now Aaron Dolan who is equally as helpful & professional. We are confident this will be a good investment based on all the data currently available but obviously only time will tell.
