Very professional and not pushy sales tactics

Professional and helpful in selecting good investment options

I have had excellent dealings with London Cask Company throughout the whole process of investment. In particular, I have found Aaron to be extremely helpful and cooperative in helping us choose the appropriate casks for our financial needs.He carefully explained the investment opportunity and was able to deal with my many questions.

Up to now 5 stars, but it's early days and I need to see how well the investment works out.

The buying process was very easy after talking to the brokers at the London Cask Co with their experience, knowledge and expertise in this field. I felt at ease and confident in investing in the whisky produced and as an added bonus my wife and I were invited to Ireland for a whisky tasting tour and lunch at the distillery where we sampled the whiskys, we were very happy with the quality and flavours. It was an amazing day, we met the owner and felt very pleased to see his passion for the product which made us feel confident in the investment. We will certainly be investing in more of the product through the London Cask Co.

Exceptional service from London cask company. From the initial consultation to the final investment everyone from the London cask company was helpful throughout every step. Aaron from London cask explained every detail of how the investment works. We had an in-person meeting which was very helpful. From there I received the necessary documents and certificates. All in all, a very pleasurable experience.

I am sorry to say that my experience of the London Cask Co hasn’t been as positive. My contact with their Account Manager, Ricky Maccabe, ended when the money was paid last December. Since then, all communication has taken place with Dari-Anna Alekseva, Head of Finance. I confess that I was initially concerned about investing with LCC due to their short trading history and the lack of employment / business continuity on the linkedin pages of many members of their ‘Team’. However, I did receive written confirmation that the cask would be stored in Stafford’s Bonded warehouse (which does have a trading record) and that Stafford’s would provide the title documents, insurances etc. I also took some comfort, that Simon Charles, a Partner of the London law firm Marriott Harrison, was associated with the business. Since purchasing a cask the only title documents I have received are three different LCC certificates for a single cask, one of which substituted Stafford’s bonded for ‘the Foundry Vault’ (which has no trading history). My efforts to seek written clarification over the last 10 days have drawn a blank and I have no idea if I have actually made a properly stored investment in an Oloroso cask from the Boann distillery or a bucket of moonshine in someone’s garden shed. If LCC maintain the current radio silence, I guess I will have to start digging a little deeper into their people and claimed business relationships.

Since writing the above review, I received a call from James Manto at LCC and a photograph of the Boann cask indicating a fill date of the 7th Feb. I am pleased to say that I now feel much more comfortable that this transaction will be properly concluded in due course. Thank you.

I cannot recommend Matt Nixon enough for his exceptional customer service and professional approach throughout the new process I was entering. As a new investor into the market I had obvious concerns regarding making an investment into an area I had limited knowledge. With that said Matt went above and beyond to reassure and inform me of all aspects of the process making it not only easier to follow but enjoyable to complete. I can honestly say that what sets aside and business from their competitors is the way in which they value their customers and London whiskey co is top of the list in my experience solely from Matts contribution.

Very well explained and kept informed all the way. I was also invited to the distillery which really helps in understanding the investment.

London cask company have looked after me throughout this process but due to unforeseen circumstances I’ve had to terminate my partnership with them. But I hope to be on board again soon. Thank you for being so understanding.

After reservations about investing in an unknown area,Aaron of the London Cask Co. explained every aspect and procedure involved in the investment. We have been kept up to date with proceedings and supplied with certificate of our investment. The whole experience has been easy to understand and straight forward. We would highly recommend this company.

I would be more favourably inclined to the company if their website did not pointedly avoid all the essential facts required to judge this or any investment.
Lots about returns, sexy products and saving the planet. Search in vain for any mention of ongoing costs "including secure storage using an HMRC approved facility, as well as insurance".
That came from a PR handout - the only 'press' coverage linked to, alongside link-lookalike logos of major newspapers.
No mention of exit costs at selling either.
Puzzling why all these adoring reviews from smart sounding investors make zero mention of costs either.
Hmm...

We were introduced to whisky investment opportunities by a friend. Thomas White was our main point of contact at London Cask. Every interaction with Thomas and the team at London Cask was professional, courteous and informative. There were no ‘pushy sales’ tactics and a genuine feeling that they were there to find the most suitable, affordable investment vehicle to suit my budget. All in all, a very pleasurable experience.

I have nothing but praise for Mr. Thomas White, now my 'cask manager'. I had a terrible problem convincing my bank that London Cask Company Ltd. were not a scam and that I was not being coerced into parting with my hard earned cash. Three phone calls and also one from Thomas White and at last they let me have MY MONEY! Thomas was so supportive because of this travesty of customer service by the Co-operative Bank's Fraud Dept. and he was doing his best to right their wrong because I was so stressed about it. After he phoned them, it was classed as a misunderstanding... no - they just thought I couldn't make such a 'difficult' decision and I felt demeaned. (I have since changed my bank!)
The London Cask Company are very professional and cover all and any issues that may arise. I feel very confident to recommend this company if you are looking for long term investment. You will not be disappointed. Julia Vidler

An amazing company, cannot recommend enough!

The London Casino made the process of buying whiskey very simple; Matt was easily contactable and clearly knew his stuff, taking the time to explain the market and covering a variety of options.
