Consistently advertising wrong baggage prices, they include the details on the ticket once booked when generally most people don't look for baggage information. The customer service representatives including the superiors think you just want money and will disrespect you if you tell them you are calling to understand the issue to avoid future problems. Just experienced the same problem, glad I paid detail to the final ticket this time!

Would rate zero stars if I could. Had to cancel a flight on Southwest Airlines to change my itinerary. Before cancelling, I got a pop up message confirming that I would receive a travel credit but no refund. After 48 hours, no travel credit appeared in my Capital One Travel or Southwest Airlines account. After 2 hours on the phone with Capital One Customer service trying to rebook using the credit only they could see, they notified me I would have to call the Airline directly. After calling the airline directly, they said only Capital one could rebook. Escalating to a manager only helped by wasting more of my time. Will never book travel through the portal again, despite having a Capital One Venture X business card.

I trusted Capital One Travel because I wanted to use my points and I have trusted Capital One for over 25 years, but not only was this upsetting and frustrating, it's the craziest thing I've ever experienced!

I made reservations months in advance through my Capital One account online. I used my points and my Capital One points and card. I added a guest's name to my reservation. I get to the hotel and guess whose name is NOT on the reservation. Explain to me how my name is NOT on the reservation.

The hotel front desk said just call them and have them change the name or add your name to the reservation. CRAZY, right! I called. Spoke to a service rep and he said he couldn't help me - the name can't be changed. I asked for a supervisor and spoke to Marvin - I even let him talk to the front desk service rep, Eli, and they still said they could not change the name, modify the reservation or anything. Unacceptable. I will never use this system again. They took my money and basically said "Oh, well, you're out of luck". I didn't ask to cancel just modify and I feel I am due a REFUND!

I then made reservations under another rewards program for a room reservation because now I'm at my location and I have to find a place to stay because my guest was not arriving until later in the week - and that rewards program locked in my name automatically as the responsible party and then I can add a guest but my name was still listed.

Capital One I lost hundreds of $$$$ with this system - SHAME ON YOU!

Booked the Tree Inn & Suites Albuquerque through Capital One Travel. The hotel was disgusting — rooms that hadn't been cleaned, my key opened another guest's room, and bed bugs with foam literally coming out of the mattress. I left the same night. When I asked Capital One Travel for help getting a refund, they said the hotel wouldn't authorize one, so neither would they. They'll take your money when you book but don't stand behind the properties they sell. I won't book through them again.

An absolute scam. A costly mistake. Do not book with them at all cost. I purchased changeable flights for ease which end up not being changeable and cost exhorbitant fare difference. The self change app never worls forcing costumers to have to make calls from abroad to add to the extra insane fees they pay. No one helps, they escalate from person to person, place you an hour on the phone (from abroad), and after 57 minutes they tell you they cannot help. I am livid. I lost so much money-

I purchased my airline ticket through Capital One Travel. During the booking process, I was directed to the airline to purchase my baggage. I followed the instructions provided, paid the baggage fee, and received a receipt confirming my purchase.
However, the airline later indicated that my baggage would be “on standby.” Because I was no longer traveling under those circumstances, I requested a refund of the baggage fee to my original form of payment.
Unfortunately, Capital One Travel refused to refund the money to my original form of payment. Instead, I was told I could purchase another ticket through the same airline and pay an additional $100 when rebooking.
This was extremely disappointing. If Capital One Travel directs a customer to an airline to purchase baggage, and the airline then cannot guarantee that the baggage will travel as expected, why should the customer be required to pay for a service that cannot be properly provided?
I also do not understand why I would be expected to purchase another ticket through the same airline after experiencing this issue. Customers should not have to pay additional money for a service they were unable to use and then be denied a reasonable refund.
I expected much better customer service and assistance from Capital One Travel. I hope they will reconsider this matter and provide a fair resolution, including refunding the baggage fee to my original form of payment.

I know part is my fault for not reading the fine print in the email. But on their site (if I could upload a video I would) I booked a hotel at the Rio, site says all taxes and fees included. And then in fine print of the email disclosed there was a resort fee (of course it being in the fine print I did not see it till I was at the hotel, and got a surprise). No where on the site was the resort fee even disclosed.

I made a reservation on October 15 and capital one said airline cancelled flight but capital one travel said we don’t get a refund because the airline could take us October 17. I said this was unacceptable .
I will not use capital one travel again .

It’s disgusting how they can leave you on hold for 2 hours. Every time it says “you are #10 in line to speak to a representative “ it then jumps up to #20. And it would happen over and over until you get tired of waiting! Their Customer service is a scam!!!!!!!

The worst "luxury" travel agent. The airlines changed my ticket and they asked me to call back. I called them back, they need authorization from the airlines to change my flight even though I am not the one change it. They promised to email me and call me back. None of them, I have to call with different people and start from the beginning. Until 5 days, my flight is in limbo. Can't cancel, can't change, can't do anything. Supervisor doesn't really help.

Horrible experience. I will say this never book through capital one . One the worst customer service. Never had I imagined i have to deal with this. Ruined my whole experience by booking the flight with them. I will never in my life will suggest capital one to anyone . Be aware they will not help you at all and will try to up-sale you and try to sell you insurance.

​I usually have high hopes for booking through travel portals, but dealing with Capital One Travel regarding a JetBlue credit has been a massive headache.
​I originally purchased a JetBlue flight to Costa Rica in February 2026, but due to an urgent family illness, I had to cancel it in May 2026 and received a travel credit. When I tried to use that credit to book a trip for April 2027, the system blocked me. Capital One insisted that I had to completely FINISH traveling by February 2027 (one year from purchase), claiming it was airline policy.
​However, JetBlue's actual policy and customer service explicitly state that you only need to BOOK the flight by the expiration date—the actual travel can happen later. When I called to get this clarified, I spoke with a supervisor named Chloe on September 15, 2026. While she remained professional, her explanation was baffling: she tried to claim that different tickets have completely different hidden rules, and that JetBlue's own website and direct customer service lines were somehow giving out inaccurate information. She also stated there was no further escalation path above her.
​It is disappointing to realize that Capital One Travel ultimately doesn't align with the actual airline policies they claim to honor as a middleman. If you book through them, just be aware that if a credit issue arises, you may find yourself stuck between the portal's strict internal misinterpretations and reality. I’ve accepted that nothing will change for my specific situation, but customers deserve much clearer transparency.

This site is so difficult to use! I keep looking for s hotel in St.Augustine Beach. When sorting by price it does me hotels in Jacksonville and other places. There needs to be a way to reach a smaller radius. I couldn't even find a way to sort the hotels by name! After 45 mins I gave up and booked with expedia.com. Reservation was completed in 10 mins! Ridiculous! I will never use again?

Terrible Company. They cannot modify a booking. They are not a travel agency. They do not know what they are doing. Do not book with them. They overcharge and do not have basic ability to modify a hotel reservation even. You have to cancel completely and rebook. They ask tons of security questions on top of taking your money a terrible company and service. Use Amex or Chase.

The interest is so high on the Capital One venture that the perks are not worth it. Skip a month of paying it down and all your savings are out the door. Additionally, we visited the site and were advised to wait on purchasing tickets as they were expected to decrease in price 3 months later. Still no decrease. In fact they've increased and no update from Capital One venture to purchase them. The wedding is now in 3 weeks and we must buy our tickets and guess what will be paying $500 more than we would have if we would have just purchased a couple months ago. Thanks a lot Capital One Venture!

Their customer service is horrible and if you make a mistake on a travel date. Just put a pencil in you eye…. You can experience the pain sooner!

I will never use this service again. I booked a ticket, they changed it and offered me a refund, which i asked to take. I didn't get the refund and now they are saying that I don't qualify for the refund.

I scheduled a trip with CAPITAL ONE TRAVEL and paid for trip disruption. I had to cancel and was partially refunded but given a travel credit for the second flight. When I got ready to reschedule I couldn’t apply credit online I had to call. The ticket price I got was almost 200 more per ticket which canceled out my credits andthat was for economy. It’s a ruse. Do not use them. Schedule your flight another way then use your travel credits yourself.

I love that you are trying to help us avoid "fraud" when Capital One Travel is participating in fraudulent practices. I booked a hotel with Capital One Travel trusting my credit card company. When our flight was canceled past our hotel cancellation timeline, we were told we were out the 1800 for the hotel. But, the hotel actually agreed to a refund. Come to find out, Capital One had my booking through a 3rd party and then they went with ANOTHER 3rd party. The 3rd Party, Hopper Travel, is continuing to decline my refund. It is all a total scam. Very poor customer service. I would avoid at all costs.

Anytime dealing with Capital one travel is painful. It is honestly not worth the extra travel miles you get. I only use Capital One Travel as a search engine to compare different airlines prices then book on the actual airlines apps. Their cancelation policies are really bad compared to the airlines. I have 1 more travel credit left to use. I can't wait until I don't have to deal with them anymore.
