Adam was a amazing with communication. The whole experience was easy and well worth the extended wait. The kitchen island is so well made and the colour was better than the colour swatch. Highly recommend this company.

Bought a bespoke larder and plate rack which are absolutely fantastic and look so good in our kitchen. We stained the plate rack ourselves. Excellent quality and finish. Delivered and Adam provided additional help with hanging the plate rack and care.

We first heard about Captain's Craftworks when doing a Google search for butchers blocks for our new kitchen.
We were amazed by the polished website and the solid well made products displayed there and thought it would be a perfect addition to our kitchen.
The products can be ordered in a multitude of colours and sizes to fit any kitchen whatever it's size.
We ordered a 48" butchers block after reading the reviews, we wanted it in natural oak with a beech block, with a couple of towel rails and castors for ease of use.
Adam, the proprietor, is always helpful when we needed information or had any questions and Kim is excellent too.
Yesterday Adam arrived with our butchers block after a 6 hour drive (he delivers most items personally), and it was definitely worth the wait!
The Port Isaac butchers block is absolutely stunning!
It arrived with everything we specified, except handles for the two drawers that we sourced separately to match our new handles already on the kitchen cupboard doors.
I've yet to treat the block with the oil supplied and fit the drawer handles, but we are over the moon with the quality and craftsmanship of this beautiful bespoke butchers block.
If I could give this product and excellent service more stars I definitely would!

I was nervous at first about paying a lot of money up front for something (a big no-no these days), but when I spoke to Adam on the phone, I immediately knew he was a genuine, trustworthy guy. Once you receive your furniture and see the craftsmanship that goes into making these pieces, you’ll completely understand why.

I was extremely picky about what I wanted, having come from a walk-in pantry and needing to find the right solution. Adam sent me photos of previous work and allowed me to design my own piece. He offered helpful advice on some of my ideas, and we went back and forth for several months making tweaks until everything was just right.

The same level of care went into choosing the colour. Adam was incredibly patient, sending samples and eventually colour-matching a Farrow & Ball shade that I had found.

In the days leading up to delivery, I was so nervous, but the piece exceeded all my expectations. It’s an absolutely stunning, high-quality piece of furniture and, dare I say it, even better than my previous walk-in pantry. It’s a real statement piece while still offering all the practicality I needed.

You simply can’t compare Adam’s work to companies like Cotswold Co or Oak Furnitureland—it’s in a completely different league. This is a family business, and Adam and his team pour their skill, care, and attention into every piece. They even deliver the furniture themselves to ensure their high standards of service are maintained.

I thought that was a lovely touch, as I got to meet the wizard behind my beautiful unit!

Very happy with our Corsair Larder Pantry which we have had for a number of weeks now. Practical, looks great and very well built. Blends in with more modern built in kitchen units. Well worth the wait and Adam went over and above to deliver the unit himself and with our unit being the sole delivery on that day.

From start to finish, nothing was to much trouble for the team. From matching the colour of our new larder unit to our existing kitchen to the personal delivery and install.
The unit is beautifully made and sits majestically in our kitchen diner. Installed for 6 months the unit is still like new unlike mass produced furniture all the joints still look perfect and nothing as fell off. We would thoroughly recommend these Guys to anyone that values craftsmanship and value for money and all with a personal touch

Ordered a butchers block from Adam at Captain Craftworks and we are delighted with it. A wonderful solid wood handmade addition for our kitchen, Adam even customised the design for us so it would fit over a radiator at no extra cost. If you are looking for quality we'll built products i wouldn't hesitate to recommend Captain Craftworks. From order to delivery was about 8 weeks but if you want top quality handmade items you have to wait a bit. Communication was excellent throughout and if we need anything similar in the future we would certainly use Adam again.

We had our beautiful kitchen larder delivered and installed last week. The workmanship is amazing and the guy who delivered and installed it was delightful. Would highly recommend and can honestly say, I would have paid more for it than I did! That in itself speaks volumes. Well done Captain Craftwork !

Excellent larder cupboard, great service

Honestly brilliant. I wouldn’t hesitate to order from Captain Craftworks. Exceptional in every way! We are delighted with our butchers block which is so well made and painted in a bespoke colour. Delivery to our rural address was seamless.

Easy communication and always a quick response to any questions. The butchers block is beautiful and I’m delighted with it. The only slight downside is I paid for a two man delivery but only one turned up, apparently the 2nd operative “ didn’t turn up”. So my husband had to help
