The First Item we bought was the Jumbo Size Toilet. It looked solid abd the shape alone would give any item extra strength, WRONG !!!
It arrived with a crack on the holes where the handle fits.
I called Catit and expected a ptofessional sounding Staff member.
WRONG again.
The Customer care man just stuttered without any empathy whatsoever, saying they don't guarantee the lids from Cracking.
I re explained that it was not even used, but even if it was, imagine a 3 to 4 kilo cat sitting on the roof, and the roof broke.
What sort of rubbish do these people use in their products, and why do they not accept damaged parts.
We spent around the same time over £69 on their cat carrier, and the thin, fragile plastic pin that holds the door on is 3 mm thick. It has a 1.5 mm slot in the middle leaving less than 1 mm of plastic either side.
This tiny area also has a curve, leaving a fraction of a mm holding the movement of the light door.
The plastic so called pin, has a very strong leaf spring acting on it which forces the door to spring open.
Following first use at the vets, picking up my very sick kitten, and in front of the chief vet, this tiny cheap and not cheerful pin broke on the slot.
The vet was even shocked.
Phoning Catit again, a different stuttering man, said I must pay £15 plus VAT and postage for a new door.
He answered me by saying they don't just send a pin as they are too flimsy, and the pins are not under warranty.

Absolutely horrible no customer service…
Absolutely horrible no customer service at all. Bought theri stainless cat water fountain, and the moter broke within 6 months. The last one i had (not from catit) lasted about 4 years. Tried contacted them and waited on the line for 50 mins no one picked up.

Product died withing 3 days
I bought the catit 1.5 l mini fountain and it work for 3 days before the pump died. I am not paying 10$ for a replacement part for a 30$ product that died withing half a week.
Zero customer service
Purchased a water fountain (with the flower spout). Motor stopped working soon after. Contacted customer service (and I had registered my product online) and purchased another motor while waiting for a response. That motor also stopped working. Contacted customer service yet again. Zero response from the company outside of the auto reply that a “case had been opened” about my issue and that someone would contact me. No one ever did.
Appalling company
Appalling company. Promised delivery today, even confirmed by phone & even said it was on its way a driver would call. What did we get nothing, zilch, nada. Then they close early Friday and their customer service 0800 number is no longer taking calls. Absolutely pathetic.

My catit clumping cat litter delivery package arrived damaged, had been taped up. The cat litter package inside was torn, litter was everywhere. I contacted catit twice in 3 weeks to complain. Still waiting on a reply. I am disappointed in their customer service, or lack of to say the least. Such a shame as the product is really good

Sorry to hear about your issue with your order, unfortunately, due to the length of time it has taken you to report this issue to us there is very little if anything we can do. All order issues including damages need to be reported within 48 hours of receipt, so that we can make a claim against the courier company if needed, there is also unfortunately nothing to say that the items were damaged between us sending them to you and you receiving them, and not whilst they have been in your possession.
Horrible Motor Life
I have purchased two Catit Flower Fountains in the past year. I have two cats and they do like it. But the motors are horrible!!! I have already bought two repacements in under a year!!!! I have good water quality, and I clean the motors and the filters regularly, (2x/mo). I am tired of needing replacement motors!
App only works if you lower your internet speed to 2.4ghz
I bought a catit pixie and can not use the app without changing my router from 5ghz to 2.4ghz. This would reduce my internet speed. I’m not reducing my internet speed for this one app. The fact my cats don’t use it is another problem but it’s early days so I’m still hoping it wasn’t a complete waste of money.
Don’t waste your money
Never written a review like this before but I’m deeply annoyed with catit and their choice to ignore my support questions and their faulty design. I really loved the pixi water fountain when I first got it. It’s cute and the whole premise with knowing where the water line is was what pulled me in. Unfortunately the light stopped working about 6 months in and I contacted catit via their site and they never reached out to me. It’s been over 2 months. I tried to use the fountain still but it’s really hard not know where the water line is and recently the power to the fountain just stopped working all together. I really wanted this to work. Their lack of customer service has sealed the deal for me and I won’t be back.
The Catit smartsift litter box is overpriced and doesn't work well
The Catit smartsift litter box is a terrible litter box. I spent so much money for something that doesn't work well. The litter gets clumped up on the sifting part and you have to clean that off. You also have to buy their bags that fit into the drawer which doesn't work well. I bought a cat poop scooper which works way better than this overpriced litter box. Waste of money, just get a box and a scoop and it is less time to manage.
Pompe de la fontaine fragile mais service client efficace
J’ai acheté un abreuvoir à fleur pour mon chat, qui est ravi. Mais attention ce produit est fragile notamment la pompe, qui tombe en panne après 3 mois de fonctionnement seulement !
Les produits Catit étant garantis 2 ans, il faut bien penser à garder les factures d’achat. Ce que je n’avais pas fait. Mais après un email auprès du service client, ces derniers ont retrouvé ma commande et m’ont renvoyé à leur frais une pompe neuve pour la fontaine.

Looks great but the app has issues
Looks great but the app has issues, the screen wouldn't scroll down so I couldn't sign up - Catit customer service did this bit for me but then the app still wouldn't work. I did all the internet hub alterations, which I think likely beyond many people and still nothing. I couldn't use the AP alternative was to add a product either. But none of this is my actual issue - I bought this product as we had a family bereavement and I was going to be coming and going and wanted puss to have regular meals. I constantly asked for someone to call me and talk me through set up - they refused. I had to waste my time sending screen shots to them to get email replies that still didn't solve the issue. I was eventually told to return the product for testing and try another. I bought via Amazon, so the new one arrived the following day. Still no joy. I tried leaving a message on their Twitter feed hoping they would have someone call me - but they still just wanted me to call them and when I said I'd had it and was going to return it to Amazon and complain to Amazon they were dealing with an awful company the twitter reply was "fair enough"! That just about sums them up. Those screen shots were emailed to Catit but I've heard nothing. Product number two is boxed for return and an entirely different product on order. Stay well clear unless you have lots of time and patience.

I dropped a piece of my flower fountain pump down the drain. They wanted six dollars and $6.99 for the product which is great. They wanted $13.57 to ship it. Are you kidding me? They never answer submitted contact forms.
A corner scratcher that goes on a wall for my cat broke into pieces. I have no idea how. Didn't even try to get that replaced from Catit.
Ordered a box of 12 filters that came in a Catit box. They are not the same as the ones that came with the fountain. Don't last nearly as long.
And why can't they throw in a little cheap cleaning brush to clean these fountains? They don't care about customers. Just a warning.
Also, I've registered three products several times and they still don't show up under my account. I won't be purchasing petite products again.
Satisfait, mon chat surtout !
Après l'achat de plusieurs produits Catit (abreuvoir, toupie pour croquettes, jeux de balles lumineuses ...) j'ai constaté que mon chat apprécie beaucoup plus que les "gamelles" traditionnelles ( et pourtant cheres !).
La balle lumineuse pour jeu Sense est bien attractive quand mon chat a besoin de jouer mais ne sait pas focaliser son attention sur un jeu en particulier.
Pixi water fountain - cute but a disappointment
I purchased the Pixi water fountain (not the smart one but the one with a stainless steel top). It arrived quickly.
I had been cat sitting some cats and they came with the blue daisy fountain. My cat liked that fountain. I thought the Pixi was cute though so I chose that one when I returned the cats (and their fountain) to their human.
My cat was immediately afraid of it. I think he didn't like the stainless steel top. I contacted Catit by phone and by email but none of my messages got a response. I was hoping to exchange the Pixi for the less expensive Daisy fountain. I offered to pay for shipping. I didn't hear from them so I gave up and hoped my cat would learn to like the Pixi. After about 4 months of use the light on the Pixi died. My cat kept searching for water around the house rather than face the Pixi... I gave in and purchased the Daisy fountain and he seems much happier.
The Pixi was annoying from the get go. You have to feed the power wire through a channel, which is annoying. The daisy fountain has a device that snaps the cord to the body of the fountain.
The Pixi has this tiny plastic spout that is very easy to lose and difficult to clean. It also has a rubber tube that connects the pump to the fountain... difficult to clean and harder to lose than the spout but be careful with that too. The pump is suspended in the water, which is fine I guess except that if you suspend it too high then the 2.5L capacity actually ends up being much less as the low water sensor will activate when there's still lots of water inside.
The cover on the pump is nearly impossible to remove without a spoon or knife. Since you're supposed to clean this too it's very annoying.
The only nice thing about the Pixi is the filter, which is small and does not appear to have any plastic. The filter for the daisy fountain has a lot of plastic that just ends up in a landfill... everything else about the daisy fountain is better though.
I think my cat doesn't like stainless steel - and I noticed that other cats I've had didn't like to drink from stainless steel either. Perhaps the Pixi with the plastic top would have been ok for my cat, but this one definitely was not.
This review is 2 stars instead of 1 because the delivery was quick for both the Pixi and the replacement Daisy Fountain.
Absolutely terrible customer service
Absolutely terrible customer service. £90 cat litter tray that doesn’t work and partly broke on first day. Do not use this company. Received an email telling me I could return product the three hours later refused to do so. I am so angry and will never use the again
This is literally the worst customer…
This is literally the worst customer service I’ve ever received. They listed the wrong replacement part for my cat tree so when I received the post it didn’t fit. They fought me on agreeing to replace it and wanted me to pay the shipping to return the part which was more than the part itself. I finally got them to agree to send a replacement. It took 3 months and I just got it today and ITS STILL THE WRONG POST. I can’t even begin to explain how annoying this has been. I will never shop there again. Save yourself the frustration.
