Thank you. We've had the worst weather since our DS3 came in; you definitely solved the problem and not expensive either !
Not a single drop of water ingress. You were right, it wasn't the gullies, it wasn't the mechanism, the fabric just need reproofing and now it's beading beautifully.

I have had my 1999 Mercedes SLK R170 with roof issues where the parcel shelf cables and brackets were damaged so not operating.
I contacted Cayman and they have been absolutely brilliant in being able to resolve this,
Talking to Maddie on initial contact to arrange a diagnosis, where I travelled to them, most accommodating as I work shifts. Arrived early, which was not an issue, Keith the Manager inspected the car and gave me an estimate,which was very competitive. This took less time than expected. Bonus.
I was then kept fully informed of the time when the parts were delivered, and again they worked with me to fix a date to carry out the work. Above and beyond.
On the day of the fix, I travelled to drop the car, then came home. As I was travelling back on the train to collect,the communication was excellent so as I arrived at Redhill station I was met and driven to Cayman. Keith ensured the job was completed and showed me the repair and wished me happy top down motoring.
Wow wow and wow, absolutely amazing customer service and standard of work. They know their trade. Defo recommend. Ian

Absolutely amazing! I took my rather sad (but loved) Z4 to Caymans and was absolutely amazed by their professionalism and knowledge. My Z4 roof wouldn't go down, there was water sitting towards the rear of the car, and also a leak above the drivers door. Within a couple of hours they had diagnosed the problems and 3 days later I got my car back with what looked like a new (and working) roof!! They explained everything along the way, with an excellent handover on pick up. I am absolutely thrilled! ...and really grateful :)

My Audi TT roof was coming away from the rear window , no company locally would repair just said it would need a new roof. I found Cayman online and they fixed it no problem, looks good as new. It was well worth the 2 x 4.5 hr round trip from Hertfordshire. The staff were all really friendly, offered me tea and a lift to and fro the station. I can't recommend them highly enough, certainly saved me a lot of money by not having to pay for a new roof. Customer service was top class from start to finish.

Following up after the reply by Cayman.

No you didn't complete a free visual inspection, we paid £80 + vat (£96) for a full diagnosis.

Again you miss the whole point, we left with a roof in worse condition than when it came in to you.

We didn't have any front leaks whatsoever, we did when we left!

It was a given that we had mechanical roof issues but no leaks into the car, the leaks we had were boot related which I'm to believe is a common fault on the VW Eos.

So to double down if your unsure why I'm writing this review and follow up:

YOU messed the roof up, prior to your investigation there were no cabin leaks - After was a different matter, the car leaks like a sieve.

Own it and stop posting cover your backside replies, it's embarrassing.

Appalling Service!

Took our car in for diagnosis and quote, quote came back twice the value of the car and no guarantee paying £2.5k would get the roof working.

Quote was outrageous but you either accept it or you don't, But - Now the roof leaks which it didn't before, called for an explanation and maybe a tip to stop the leak and was met with deflection & Confusion - no help whatsoever.

No doubt Cayman fix roofs but in this instance they made the situation worse, no remorse just deflection.

Good luck if you engage them for your clam-shell roof repair!

Outstanding job on my C63 S Convertible. Mercedes wanted an arm and two legs to fix the broken cords that hold the folding roof mechanism together, but Cayman Autos provided a massively more reasonable solution and the job was completed perfectly. All the staff were excellent, informative and very helpful from start to finish so I would thoroughly recommend them.

One small bit of advice if you're waiting there for the day to have your work carried out: Stay out of Wetherspoons in the town centre ;-) I'm still getting over the ordeal.

A truly wonderful company to deal with, they couldn't do enough for me. I am registered deaf, so meeting new people isn't always easy, but from the moment I arrived I was made welcome. I have an eighteen year old convertible VW which had suffered a roof malfunction which they diagnosed, carried out repair and serviced for me all while I waited, so no trips back and forth which is great for me. I would recommend Cayman Auto Services to anyone who has problems with their convertible.

This was my first experience of Cayman Auto's; I purchased a VW EOS knowing that the electric roof was not working. Cayman gave me a written quote which having studied a multitude of YouTube videos I decided to accept, (I'm quite mechanically minded but this was a two person job and too many risks of error!) So I took the plunge and booked in.
Absolutely professional service, polite booking in, reassurance that the quote was the quote, a reminder by text and email about the date and I dropped the car off at 9 ready for its 1000 appointment. Smart area for reception, very promptly dealt with and now in CAYMANs hands.....
Phone call from a lady called Jenny - all's well and ready for collection.
Not only that but they had cleared the drains for free as they were working right next to them.
My wife and I collected the car and were given a demo as to its function, paid the bill as per quote and all is well. In fact all is great! Plus a 12 month warranty on their work to reassure us. Just a very very smart operation.
I don't know all the names of those involved but certainly Leah and Jenny were true ambassadors for the Cayman team.

These guys are amazing.From my first contact with them regarding my power hood on my wifes MX5,they were very helpful and able to understand the problem immediately.Dropped the car off in the morning and all finished in the afternoon,initial diagnostic within an hour.Cant thank all of you enough a terrific job and would not hesitate to recommend Cayman to anyone.

I had a leaking roof on my Mercedes SLK. Mercedes want to replace the whole roof, costing £4k+. A call to Cayman Autos and the car was booked in for their repair service. Had the car back a few days, and been through some very heavy rain, and so far no leaks at all! Fantastic solution and service. I cannot recommend Cayman Autos highly enough. Professional, polite, honest and reasonably priced. Thank you so much to all the Team at Cayman Auto Services.

My usual garage and other local ones could not fix the roof on my Peugeot 308CC. I found Cayman Autos on line, had a chat and booked my car in. The service was excellent. I had to return, as due to the age of my car, they had to wait for the part to arrive. They kept me informed and fixed my car. All staff were exceptionally polite and very helpful. Definitely recommend if you have a convertible. Well worth the money and used almost every day since with this hot weather!

Amazing unbelievable service. I was quoted £600 at Audi for them to diagnose the problem. Spoke to Leah at Cayman Autos, one phone call, booked in within a few days, top class service, professional customer service, and most importantly the roof on my TT was done, and serviced as well within 2 hours !!!

Don’t bother with main dealers, just give Cayman Auto services a call, seriously, job done.

I was impressed with the professional set up following a recommendation from my local garage who referred me to Cayman. The diagnosis was carried out within the allocated time slot and the roof now operates correctly as per manual.

Polite, helpful and fully explained everything. Very accommodating re dropping off and communication good. All staff were courteous to myself and also with all other customers.

Called in for an inspection of a fault on the hood of my mini convertible and the problem was fixed and a service in a couple of hours BRILLIANT . All the staff are friendly and I would definitely recommend this company if you have problems with a convertible.

I actually called at 8:30 in the morning asking cheekily if they could see me that day and fortunately they could.
As it was theoretically a two hour drive it ended up over three!,
I did not get there till gone 12 on a Friday but they still welcomed me and their technician got straight on it.
We went to the cafe down the road and had a lovely Liver bacon and onions with mashed potato to be called after about an hour 20 minutes to say the work that needed to be done and some other recommended work
this was sanctioned and when the car was ready we were driving down the road by 330
