Ease of booking an appointment, yes it was nearly a 10 hour round trip but worth every second to get my Mercedes soft top repaired & serviced. Faults Diagnosed and fixed in less than 4 hours. Not cheap however you get what you pay for and I can certainly say it was worth every penny spent.
£80 to diagnose faults which is brilliant.
I previously contacted Mercedes to diagnose my car and they incorrectly advised the fault with inconclusive results, I must add Mercedes needed extra time and quoted a further £400 which did not include the repair.
The admin & tech team are very welcoming, extremely knowledgeable and very transparent. 5 star review from me and I absolutely recommend this company.

Clear website - answered the phone quickly and all the people at Cayman I spoke to were friendly and informative. The repair was to rebond the rear roof glass in my Audi A3 cabriolet. Tho not cheap the quality of the repair is excellent and I’d say good value for money. Reception and collection were straightforward and I formed the impression the folk at Cayman care about what they’re doing. I couldn’t fault their service. Would definitely use them again for any future soft top repairs.

We bought our car in for a roof repair recently having had a very bad experience at a local garage having had the car for 7 weeks and still couldn’t fix the issue. Cayman were extremely helpful and happy to work on someone else’s bad workmanship. They diagnosed the issue very quickly and gave ourselves updates every 2 hours. They gave us an accurate cost to carry out the work and a predicted time of completion. The work was then completed on time and when the work was completed we were met by very friendly and helpful staff. The next day we received an email thanking us for our custom and wished us all the very best.
Thankyou very much for sorting our car and we will definitely use again for servicing the roof mechanism.

I have just been to Caymen Autos this morning with an issue with my BMW 3 series roof not operating. These guys know what they are about, they were professional and efficient. The fault was diagnosed and fixed within 2 hours, 2 relays needed to be replaced and now the car is up and running for the rest of the summer. I cannot praise these guys highly enough, thank you Caymen.

I want to just say that how professional cayman autos are. I had a problem with my roof on my Porsche and Cayman autos fixed it with no trouble, and kept me informed on every procedure. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Cayman Autos for all your hard work.

E-mailed Cayman with the exact problem with my E93 BMW Roof. They replied the next day and I was offered choice of slots on different days about a week ahead.
Visited then today, a 2 hour drive and they started diagnosing the issue bang on time. Just over an hour later they gave me a breakdown of what needed doing and a fixed price.
I agreed and the roof was fixed within 2 hours whilst I waited.
Amazing customer service, friendly m, very knowledgeable and trustworthy.
Also at least half the price of a dealer!!!

From the very first contact with them they just knew what they were talking about, I took my Mercedes SLK R172 for a leaking roof, they had the car for 2 full days and I booked a hotel. the roof now is smooth and a rattle I'd forgotten to mention is gone as is the leak, brilliant service from start to finish. Well done Cayman.

Cayman had my e46 BMW in today for roof fault. Turns out same as exactly a year ago when I visited them. Common wiring loom break. They fixed it under warranty no charge within 3 hours and I was on the road. Excellent service as last year - great honesty in rectifying fault under their warranty - you won’t find better customer care and service

Some weeks ago my retractable roof on my BMW E93 malfunctioned, after not using it for many months. On attempting to operate it would release at the roof centre but would not detach from the windscreen.
I brought the car into Cayman one morning for diagnosis & repair, and they had the problem diagnosed (faulty sensor) and repaired by midday. Seems all ok now. Good work guys, and I suspect a lot cheaper than BMW would fix it for.

I recently purchased a convertible F Type Jaguar from a dealer down south. Unfortunately there were issues with the operation of the canvas roof. Cayman eventually after a couple of attempts solved the problem and now the roof works perfectly. All I need now is for the British weather to cooperate and give us a few days with sunshine. At all stages throughout the process Millie, Leah and Adam kept me informed.
Cayman, excellent company highly recommended.

What a great company . Friendly and helpful staff , well presented garage with somewhere to park on arrival. Diagnosed and fixed my BMW convertible on the same day . Communication was great from the booking to authorising the work needed . No pressured sales tactics just got the job done . The technician gave me a walk round and explanation of the work done when handing the keys back and also refitted the trims in the boot without asking which were removed by a previous garage . If you want your roof repaired properly and first time this is the place to take it to.

Volvo c70 I'm not gonna go away till you refund the customer his money back.u did not change his roof module re programme it and recalibrate it? How can u do that when the roof didnt work??

I was recommended to Cayman Auto by my local Mercedes workshop. My SLK (R172) had a leaky roof. The reception staff were friendly and the technician knowledgeable. Three days and £880 later my SLK was ready to collect. There were two other SLKs ready to collect that day, this is a fix Cayman are very familiar with. Nearly a month and quite a bit of rain later my car is dry inside. Although there’s no guarantee with the work, I was assured that should there be a problem they would fix it. Overall Cayman offer a fast, efficient service, and a waterproof roof.

I highly recommend these folding roof specialists. Tired of a damp & leaky VW EOS roof I was ready to give up and sell it. Cayman was my last resort - and I'm so glad I came across them!
Drains cleared, seals refurbished and not only have they fixed the water ingress but the rubbers look like new. Because the have been 'fluffed up' and gaps closed up, I noticed a lot less road noise on my journey home.
I was impressed with the prices, thoroughness of the investigations into my leaks, full run through of the work done, and excellent communication at all stages. I was thrilled to get into my dry car this morning, with no condensation for the first time in ages! Thank you Cayman.

After months of worry with an Audi TT MK2 convertible leaking when it rained, causing a few internal electrical problems and no local mechanic wanting to touch a rainwater leak issue, I was recommended to Cayman Autos. Prior to this no one was confident to know where the water was getting into the car. I was booked in quickly for a free consultation and they immediately identified all the areas that needed doing/were leaking. I discovered a problem with my Mercedes convertible roof mechanism, which my Mercedes dealer wanted an absolute fortune to fix, telling me a couple of parts couldn't be repaired but had to be replaced (at almost £2000 each). I found Cayman online and called their number. The amazing Millie answered and as soon as I gave her the make and model of my car, without me saying any more, she told me exactly what the problem was and that they see quite a few of this model with the same problem. I booked the car in and the work was done superbly. When I picked it up, the technician showed me exactly what had been done. Even with the drive to Redhill and a two-night stay in the town centre Travelodge, I have saved a huge amount of money. The Cayman team are so professional, so knowledgable and also so friendly - the perfect combination. Can't recommend them highly enough - a simply superb service.
