If you are a landlord, think carefully before you use their service.

We rented a property via Chancellors. A pre tenancy condition on “professional” deep cleaning especially on the carpet has been added as lease agreement’s terms and conditions. It stated that professional deep cleaning at landlord’s cost should be arranged before lease commencement.

We as tenant, chased Chancellors to confirm the cleaning several times by call and by email, reminded them this is part of the pre tenancy agreement. On the lease start date, 2 hours before the inventory check, a cleaning has finally been arranged. First this is late as the deep cleaning should be carried out before the lease starts. Second, the so call professional deep clean took 20mins only. Yes 20mins for 3 people, no tools at all, to deep clean a 4bedrooms, 2 kitchens, 3 reception rooms and 2 toilets house. No carpet cleaner machine to deep clean carpet as agreed. Cleaners stayed in the house for 20mins and left. Scarlett of their Bracknell team insisted that this is professionally deep cleaned! A person with common sense will know 20mins will probably allow you to clean a toilet not to mentioned a house that is over 2000 square feet.

If you are landlord paying Chancellors for their deep cleaning services, think twice before engaged them. You will likely paying few hundreds pounds for the service, but nothing in return.

PS the address in chancellors reply has been copied in all my emails to Scarlett and nothing has been done. 20mins deep cleaning is ridiculous. Is 20mins a realistic time to clean a 2000 square feet house? Can the carpet dry immediately after washing? Who will be able to sleep on wet carpet at 2 degree? So the complaint process is just meaningless.

The photography is great. It only takes about 1 hour to finish the all photographies and virtual touring capture. Very efficient and professional. Also the team is easy to communicate about how, when, where the best photography should be like. I personally happy about their efficient and professional service.

I have been using Chancellor for a number of years sorting out a new forms Rebecca made it very easy to complete and was able to do it all on phone as my pc scanner not working would recommend Chancellor and Rebecca

Molly Gaunt was very helpful and arranged a boiler service and safety certificate for my tenants. She was also kind enough to ensure post from the previous people was put through their door. She is a good listener and followed all my requests exactly

Amber at the Bracknell central admin team has been brilliant and highly efficient in getting all the marketing materials together to prepare the brochure for putting my house on the market.

I recently listed my property with Chancellors and had a few issues with the pictures/floor plan carried out by another company. Simran Aulakh contacted me immediately and after listening to what I needed rectifying, was able to resolve everything as quickly as possible. Throughout the process she was courteous, informative, quick to respond to my emails/calls and completed the tasks first time. I have nothing but praise for Simran. Thank you
