Have rented with Chancellors for 3 years. The service has been up and down, but wanted to write a review as it more recently has really improved with two stand out people I have worked with who have been professional and helpful - Oliver Buckle and Sasha McCrossan.

The staff at Chancellors Newbury are all very helpful. Abbey has gone above and beyond to assist us with our current house purchase.

Erin was very nice and helpful

We had a viewing with Erin earlier today Sat 31-08-2024, she gave us a proper tour of the house and answered all our questions. She was very nice too!

Brooke was excellent in handling our letting enquiry from start to finish. My partner and I were both very impressed with the promptness of response and ability to answer any questions we had.

I would definitely go through Chancellors again if I need to look for property in the future. Very professional ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The agency understood the brief and was punctual at the property showing. Contact with the agency has been professional and efficient, with timely responses, regardless of who picks up the phone.

Though I was late, the Lettings Negotiator was patient to show flat and highlighted the specifics of the flats and that was easy to make a decision quickly.

It was very good experience. The person knows about the property well and gave me all the required information.

Erin was very helpful in responding and arranging the viewing, making it a smooth process.

Terrible experience with this agent, I wish I had listened to family/friends poor reviews before going anywhere near them. Rude, belittling, thieving, unprofessional, shared personal info breaking GDPR, the list goes on… I will never go near this company again.

Brooke has been instrumental in successfully setting up our flat tenancy. She has been proactive in getting together the documentation and helping us with requirements such as EPC, EICR and flat preparation - during a period when the flat was being refurbished.
Brooke always responded quickly and accurately - we're very pleased with the service.

Chancellors as a estate agent for landlords is appalling. I am with them for a year and a half. Very poor communications, their statement reports are just so user unfriendly - firstly they only come in PDF - you wont get the Excel version as they dont support it apparently, secondly every item is seperate line including VAT - hence that makes the report very busy, no common sense approach just hundreds of emails and very rarely someone will pick up a phone and call you
I am about to change and terminate the contract which will mean unfortunatelly also an issue for the tenants
