It was a pleasure to discuss selling of our house/to get an appraisal with Rob. It was refreshing to meet someone so professional, knowledgeable, and honest. Although we decided not to sale at the moment, we have certainly found the perfect sales manager to help us out in the near future.

Luis has been a great help and showed us the property. He helped us understand property details and also, told us things about property in clarity. He is a great addition to your team.

Katie Keenan has been amazing looking after my properties so far. I've had several different property managers from Chancellors and they have not been good at all. Luckily Katie is changing my perception of Chancellors, long may it continue.

I have several properties and as most landlords will realise there is a lot of work. It makes a HUGE difference if you get a responsive property manager that is also proactive... well done Katie

Having had my house listed with another agent for approx. 3 months with very limited results, I re-listed with Rob at Chancellors and within a week the house was under offer after a viewing with Jack. A fantastic result. Both Rob & Jack have been very professional throughout the process and taken the time to explain and clarify any concerns I had. I believe that Rob’s knowledge of the property market is exemplary and have very much appreciated his advice and guidance. I have no hesitation in commending his services.

Buying this Property was made so easy with the help and communication that Joshua Milam from the Reading branch provided every step of the way. We found that nothing was too much trouble, he was always at the end of the phone ready to answer our questions.

Avoid at all costs if you are a landlord.

Unfortunately the property management staff at Chancellors are at best poorly motivated and at worst downright incompetent. As a landlord I have no confidence that they can solve any problems, so despite paying them £100s per month in fees I have to chase every task repeatedly. Every week there is a new reason to regret picking them to manage my property. They are quick to charge additional fees for extra repairs, and yet I am the one chasing the tradesmen when the work is incomplete.

I cannot wait to be rid of them, but sadly I am trapped until the end of this tenancy.

Previous poor reviews here on Trustpilot have asked the reviewer to email the directors. I have previously complained to the directors and the person who responded was the person I complained about!

I cannot stress enough - AVOID!!!!!!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - I would give negative stars if I could. The end to end service was incredibly terrible & full of faults.
- Marketed my property without my consent - the property details even contained errors
- The agents made NO EFFORT whatsoever to sell the property during viewings, simply stood in the corner. I was viewing properties for a new place at the same time, and you can see what proper marketing is like
- Called weekly to simply read useless figures off a screen - this is their update
- When I found a buyer & half way through the conveyancing process, nearly lost out on the sale because Chancellors didn’t relay a message across to me for weeks!!!
- Sales progression team is absolutely useless, maybe heard from them 5 times during 6 months. Each time with out of date information. They may as well not have been there. But guess when I got an instant response from them - when I emailed telling them I was completing on the sale & I had a query. Never seen someone send me an invoice so quickly requesting for the commission, & the answer to the query itself came 24 hours later!! It was a simple question of whether I could leave the keys to the property with the branch.

Can’t believe the state of this service cost me a couple of grand. STAY AWAY FROM CHANCELLORS IF YOU WANT A SMOOTH SALE

I was shown a number of properties by Sarah Cox who was extremely competent in her knowledge about the properties which made the experience a lot less of a hassle. Thank you Sarah for restoring my faith in estate agents.

Katie Keenan: profesional, capable, responsive, pleasant and, to cap it all, very pleasant too!

Seriously, I am glad Katie is looking after my property for me.
