Chancellors - Slough レビュー 

I do not normally leave negative reviews, but my experience with the Slough branch of Chancellors has been extremely disappointing.

The sales team wasted more than four months of my time. Based on their assurances that the sale was progressing, I served two months' notice to my tenants and waited for the transaction to complete. Throughout the process, the sales team repeatedly provided different explanations and updates. After approximately six months, I was finally informed that the buyer was facing financial difficulties and could not proceed with the purchase.

This was very frustrating and costly. I incurred solicitor fees, lost rental income, and kept the property vacant unnecessarily. What shocked me most was that the buyer's financial position appeared not to have been properly verified before solicitors became involved and significant time had been invested by all parties.

After the sale fell through, I decided to let the property instead, as I could not continue to leave it vacant and lose money. The lettings team took over and informed me that a tenant wished to move in on 1 June. During the week before the tenancy was due to start, I repeatedly contacted the office for updates on the tenant's references. Despite numerous calls, it was very difficult to get a response.

On the day the tenant was due to move in, I finally received the reference details. The following day, I was informed by email that the tenant would not be proceeding and that the property would be remarketed. Once again, the commitments and information provided by the team proved unreliable.

More than six months later, my property is still vacant, and I continue to suffer financial losses as a result.

Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this estate agency to friends or family.

Handled viewings efficiently, provided completed information of property and answers all queries patiently and approachable at any time. As a first time buyer got very good support from Chancellors.

Chancellors experienced staff is very handy. Kashan is available whenever you needed and explained everything clearly. Excellent service. Highly recommended.

I have been letting my flat through Chancellors for the last couple of years, and the service has been excellent. The team is consistently helpful, providing reports quickly and ensuring payments are always prompt. Any time I have an issue, they respond to my emails immediately,I never have to chase them for an update. I would strongly recommend their services.

The support from the local Slough branch during our recent search for a new tenant has notably deteriorated since we used their services a year ago.

Our local branch account handler was rude on the phone several times and lacked effective customer service and communication skills throughout the process. It felt like they were championing the candidates rather than listening and looking after our requirements and interests. The lack of knowledge about proposed tenants when questioned was also alarming - not impressed.

If it hadn’t been for Katie Adams in Central Lettings constantly chasing documents from the branch to pull things together to get the rental over the line, we would have walked away from Chancellors and started a tenant search elsewhere!

Well, What can I say about Rakesh Jethwa. He has been an absolute star and amazing in his service, since giving an evaluation on my property right through to getting offers. He is so personable, makes you feel like family. He has helped in troubled tenants and advised and assisted in every eventuality. I would give him 6 Stars if I could. No doubt he will always assist any new vendors who want to put their property for sale. I would not have been were I am without his help. He will be appreciated always and I thank him for his service and this includes Courtney Kennedy in the after sales office, who has been a tremendous help too. I complained to Dana valentine (Property Manager) about the blocked kitchen sink at my flat. Without hesitation she promised to get plumbers to fix it. In no time, the problem was sorted. Her level of communication,kind gesture,commitment and output is top notch.

I have nothing but praise for the staff at Chancellors, especially Klaudia. She was extremely knowledgeable and always willing to go that extra mile. Friendly service and always contactable. Zero issues what so ever and highly recommended.

Quite a positive experience with Slough branch, their communication and prompt responses lead to a successful purchase. They were quick, and didn’t waste time like many other agents.

Aimee in particular was great from the start, with viewings and then communication.

I’ve been with Chancellor Real Estate for four years now, and I can’t say enough good things about them! From the very beginning, their team has been incredibly supportive. They really take the time to understand what you need and help you find the perfect place.
