I am very pleased with my experience with Chancellors St Johns Wood. Whilst representing the seller, they have shown a great deal of diligence and care towards me also as a buyer. Luigi and Dean have been attentive and have kept me informed throughout the process, and one can tell there is a lot of knowledge, long-standing client relationships and proactiveness within the team.

DO NOT rent your property via Chanellors in St Johns Wood.

The agency is a complete shambles. For a exclusive place like St Johns Wood, they do not have an professionalism in their work.

When we wanted to rent the property they were running around like dogs trying tonget the business, once we gave the business to them, they do nit even return your calls or reply to messages.

Its been nearly 1 month since the new tenant has moved in and chancellors still have not paid us, they keep making stories up they have got a system and it will be paid tomorrow and day after and its been processed etc. I have been calling for 3 days and messaging, but get zero response and more excuses.

I understand new systems can have teething problems, but not for 2 weeks.

They can pick the phone and give us regular updates, which they cant be bothered, instead we are begging for our own money, absolutely riddiculous.

They are not collecting the rent for free, they are charging commission, in a few days the next months rent will be due.

Be aware when using this company.

I had a great experience with Luigi during my search for a property to purchase. He has been extremely helpful and organised and has always accommodated the requests I have made in terms of booking multiple viewings which I’m really grateful for. He has also been very attentive and regularly checked in with me during the search. Luigi is very knowledgeable and personable and is a great asset to Chancellors.

As with most larger organisations some problems on the customer interface is perhaps inevitable ; Chancellors are no exception.
However , two of the key staff Denise Jordan and Will Voyce are indeed exceptional and helped us navigate smoothly through some tricky problems that arose from time to time. Denise, despite being rushed off her feet with work, has always been extremely diligent, efficient , polite and helpful. Denise is indeed exceptional. We have also been most impressed with Will Voyce ; nothing is too
much trouble for Will. He has been thoroughly efficient at all times and always on time. It has been a real pleasure to deal with him as his excellent telephone manners calmly resolved difficult situations. Both Denise and Will are real credits to Chancellors and richly deserve to be rcognised.
We wish them both every success !

Chancellors facilitated the transition of a new tenant in my flat seamlessly with thanks to the expertise of Sam Richards and Ben Newman. They kept me apprised during the process and I enjoyed working with them both very much.

Really helpful and responsive staff. Helped make the purchase of the property as timely as possible and very knowledgeable.

I found the staff at Chancellors to be extremely competent and experienced.
Especially Lauren Daymer who managed the sale and kept the buyer and her solicitors well informed with the progress.
Subsequent to this she was very helpful when my partner had to manage the removers on her own as I was in hospital.

Extremely disappointing experience with Chancellors St John’s Wood. It has been almost two months since moving out, and the deposit return process has been nothing short of chaotic. Despite providing all requested details several times, we have received inconsistent, delayed and often non-existent communication. Every step has required repeated follow-ups, yet we still have no clear explanation of what is pending or when the refund will actually be released.

This level of disorganisation and lack of accountability is unacceptable—especially given the simplicity of the matter. Renting a property should not end with tenants chasing answers for weeks. Based on this experience, I would strongly advise others to avoid this branch.

I was thoroughly impressed with the whole team at Chancellors, who kept me consistently informed from the beginning of my property sale all the way through to completion. Every staff member I interacted with was courteous, approachable, and professional.
A special mention goes to Dean Whitely, who handled any issues that came up during the sale proactively and efficiently and was responsive to all communications.
I would highly recommend the Chancellors office in St John’s Wood.
