My partner and I have been delighted with our experience with Chancellor's during the purchase of our first home. Communication when making an appointment for a viewing with Ruth was great, and during the viewing Ruth gave us all the time and space we felt we needed, never feeling rushed or unwelcome. She provided useful information, answered many of our questions and got back to us afterwards with some answers that required some investigation. It is also worth saying that we found it incredibly useful to have a full-time member of Chancellor's with us who clearly knew the owner and property; many times we have viewed properties at a weekend (with other estate agents) to be met by seemingly temporary staff who have no familiarity with the property or area. Ruth and Lisa remained communicative and friendly whilst our offer was being considered and following its acceptance. Everything has proceeded so smoothly as purchasers so far that we can't think of any negatives!

Great service, Ruth has been very forthcoming with information and kept us in the loop during these early stages of the purchase. Very easy to get hold of and returns calls very quickly! Thank you Ruth.

Lisa Cox and her team kept us informed and updated every step of the way with the purchase of our new home which had a chain totalling 8 people which made our purchase a bit drawn out but we got there in the end.

Was a good experience, no problem with contact and discussions. I had some concern about buying in covid times but nice to see restrictions being implemented and not really an issue.

Lisa Cox of chancellor’s estate agents has been very professional throughout the sale of our property..She has been on hand to help with all aspects of the sale, chasing solicitors and sorting out all problems that have arisen. Nothing was to much trouble for her. Lisa sent us weekly updates but I think this is unnecessary once a buyer is found. Lisa is very knowledgeable in her role as manageress of chancellor’s of wallingford..

Ruth and Lisa were so helpful in finding properties for us to view. The market was taking off in August so we put our house on the market and had an offer in days. So we rushed to organised viewings with several local agents on Saturday. They were polite but only Ruth seemed to have spotted that we were keen to move quickly and planned to make an offer that day. Ruth showed us three properties and had a good idea which one would suit us best and indeed we are very happy with our new home.

I needed a valuation of my house to help me decide on my future accommodation plans. Lisa Cox came to assess the house for Chancellors. She was prompt, courteous, engaged and wholly professional throughout. Her view on value was well argued and broadly in line with my thoughts although, at no time, did I feel that I was being told what I wanted to hear. Thorough and excellent service. Recommend.

We were shown a property by Lisa last week, not only were the Vendors such nice people, but Lisa was a delight. She was interested in us and our needs, happy to make suggestions, not pushy, and very friendly, made our visit an enjoyable time.
