Fabulous apartment top quality…
Fabulous apartment top quality furnishings and ultra clean.
Not easy to find the block but key/ fob system was straightforward. Didn’t like the lift you have to put your fob in the pad outside the lift as there are no buttons inside- over the top tech for me
Great location for waterfront but not for the lively part of town

I appreciate your feedback on the lift system as well; while it’s designed for security, I understand it can feel overly technical. Good value for money, some improvements though
Nice, spacious apartment in a good location. Although close to the city center, it was quiet in the room.
We were with 2 couples, so it was very nice to have two separate bedrooms with each an en suite bathroom.
Price was very reasonable.
Bed and pillows were very comfortable. The shower, with large shower head, was nice. The apartment looked very clean.
Quality of the interior could use some improvement. Sofa was a bit worn out, shower valve didn’t work very well and the water got cut off multiple times.
The latter appeared to require an easy fix (flicking a switch in the utility closet), but it took some effort for us to figure this out.

I’m sorry for the issues you encountered with the interior quality, particularly the worn sofa and the shower valve. Regarding the water cutting off, this is a safety feature used across a number of our apartments to prevent leaks — but you shouldn’t have had to work out how to reset it yourself. We’ll be reviewing how we communicate this so guests aren’t left troubleshooting. Thank you for highlighting these points.

No Hot water from the minute we arrived…
No Hot water from the minute we arrived ( 3pm) till we left the following day at 10am, called the help desk 4 times.

Unfortunately, there was a building‑wide outage during your stay, which meant the issue could not be resolved immediately. I appreciate how disruptive this was, and your comments will be shared with the building management team to prevent future occurrences.
The heating was not working
The heating was not working. The blind in the bedroom was broken. The shower had a dirty liquid coming out from the wall. The coffee machine was broken. It seemed like no one had checked the apartment beforehand.

The liquid coming from the shower wall is particularly concerning and will be investigated immediately. It’s clear the apartment did not undergo the proper pre‑arrival checks, and we will be reviewing this with our housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure this does not happen again.

Apartment was filthy
Apartment was not clean. Dirty cutlery in fridge. No coffee pods and tights and a bag of items int eh bedside cabinet. Dirty bottles on the balcony.

Skvělý pobyt a výborná lokalita
Pobyt jsme si opravdu užili. Apartmán byl krásný, čistý, moderní a poskytoval vše, co jsme potřebovali. Velkým plusem byla jeho poloha. Do centra Londýna se dalo pohodlně dostat i pěšky – k Big Benu jsme došli asi za 40 minut příjemnou procházkou.
Velmi se nám líbilo také okolí apartmánu. Tato část Londýna je moderní, upravená, plná zeleně a nabízí krásné možnosti pro procházky i odpočinek. Bylo příjemné se po celém dni vracet do klidného a hezkého prostředí.
Skvělým zážitkem bylo půjčování kol, které jsou v okolí snadno dostupné. Bez aplikace, jednoduše přes automat. Díky tomu jsme si mohli Londýn prohlédnout vlastním tempem, zastavit se, kde se nám líbilo, a poznat mnohem více než jen při cestování metrem.
Ubytování můžeme doporučit všem, kteří chtějí poznat Londýn aktivně a zároveň si užít pohodlné a kvalitní zázemí.
Rádi se sem někdy vrátíme. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Gorgeous apartment
The apartment was beautiful and the rooms facilities wonderful. That is the most comfortable couch in the world.
Unfortunately house keeping had left no toilet paper at all, and I later found damp used towels hidden behind the curtains and hanging up in the closets.
The front desk also not being able to assist with anything as Charles Hope is a third party was a surprise to me. I struggled to find the place, which was a shame as it was raining! The google maps location shows incorrectly, but I eventually located it with the video Charles Hope had emailed me in advance of arrival.
Apartment 19 is looking directly onto a massive construction site so it was noisy in the day and bright in the night (as the site left bright lights on).

I’m very sorry, however, for the issues you encountered. Housekeeping should never leave an apartment without toilet paper, and the damp towels hidden behind the curtains and in the closets are unacceptable. We will be addressing this directly with the team.
I understand the frustration around the front desk not being able to assist — as Charles Hope operates independently within the building, the reception team are limited in what they can support, but we appreciate this can come as a surprise. I’m also sorry the location was difficult to find, particularly in the rain; we will review the Google Maps pin and ensure our arrival instructions are clearer.
Finally, Apartment 19’s proximity to the construction site does mean daytime noise and night‑time lighting can be noticeable. We appreciate you raising this, and your comments will help us improve the guest experience.
Cancelled my booking, then I was able to rebook the same accommodation at a higher price
I booked Charles Hope Liverpool for a special mother-daughter trip from 2–4 May 2026. Before the stay, I had noticed reviews from other customers raising concerns about cancellations followed by accommodation being relisted at higher prices, but I hoped this would not happen in my case.
On 24 March, Charles Hope contacted me directly through the Booking.com messaging system to say they could not accommodate me and that I should request a free cancellation. I found this concerning, as it placed the responsibility on me as the customer to cancel, rather than the accommodation provider formally cancelling a booking they could not honour.
Booking.com later confirmed that Charles Hope could not accommodate me due to overbooking. However, immediately after the cancellation, I was able to rebook the same accommodation, for the same dates, at a higher price.
This appeared to confirm my concern that the accommodation was not genuinely unavailable, but had been made available again at an inflated price. I rebooked because this was a special trip, I had limited time to evaluate alternatives, and Booking.com had stated that it would cover the price difference if I booked replacement accommodation through the platform.
The stay itself was ultimately pleasant, which makes the situation even more disappointing. My issue is not with the quality of the apartment during the stay, but with the way the booking was handled before arrival.
Cancelling a customer’s booking, asking them to request a free cancellation, and then making the same accommodation available again at a higher price creates unnecessary stress, inconvenience and mistrust. Customers should be able to rely on confirmed bookings, especially when travelling for a special occasion.
Based on this experience, I would be very cautious about booking with Charles Hope again.

Being asked to request a cancellation for a stay we could not honour, and then seeing the same apartment become available again at a higher price, understandably caused stress and undermined trust. This should not happen, especially for a special mother‑daughter trip.

Exceeded expectations,would definitely stay again
Was a very comfortable stay,spacious very clean apartment,and local to City as located in City centre.
Exceeded expectations,only had one slight issue with the key pad on arrival but it was amended briskly over the phone,easy to contact for help and advice,happy friendly service.
We will be definitely staying agin in the future.

Not what i was looking for
I arrive at 4.30 to be guided in through the phone contact to be met at the door by a cleaner saying the room wasn’t ready a hour and a half after the 3pm check in time . After leaving and returning at 6 was finally able to enter my room and greeted by a dishwasher full of dirty dishes , floor wet around fridge and a broken glass hob . I had a fault in the boiler which constantly beeped all the time , which was sorted the day after .Then you have to make a £100 damage deposit which is supposed to be returned to you when you leave ? I had it take twice on the 25th and then the 26th May both for £100 , still no refund . I have email company but no reply

Arriving to find the apartment still being cleaned well past the 3pm check‑in time, and then entering to dirty dishes, a wet floor and a damaged hob, is unacceptable. The boiler fault and the delay in resolving it added further inconvenience, and this is not the standard we aim to deliver.
Regarding the £100 deposit, this is a pre‑authorisation, not a physical charge. It may appear on your bank statement as a pending transaction, but it should automatically release after departure. If you are seeing it as a completed debit rather than a pending hold, please reach out to our care team so they can investigate and assist.
I’m also sorry you haven’t received a reply to your email yet — we will ensure this is followed up. Thank you for bringing all of this to our attention.
Beautiful apartments, but with serious cleanliness issues
My stay at Charles Hope Apartments was a bit of a mixed experience. On one hand, the apartments are very beautiful, modern, and comfortable. However, the standard of cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired and completely spoils the experience. Upon arrival, I encountered several noticeable issues: the living room lamp has clearly not been cleaned for a long time, as a spider has made its home there and is now a permanent tenant. In addition, the wardrobe shelves were dirty, the kitchen floor was sticky, and the fridge gave off a very bad smell when opening the door. Furthermore, as a suggestion for improvement, it would be highly recommended to install a better system to block out the light coming through the windows. The current curtains do not help in the slightest and make it difficult to rest in the morning. This accommodation has a lot of potential, but they urgently need to improve their housekeeping and maintenance.
