I thought it was about time I left a review for this dealership. I have being using CMC since September 2018 when I purchased my 2nd Sorento from them. From then till now I have purchased a total of 10 vehicles from them for both personal and my company use. These range from Kia Picanto’s to the fast EV6 GT, and most recently an EV9 and EV3. They also helped me source one of the last production Stingers. All of these vehicles are serviced at CMC except one service on a Picanto. My first comment must be on every purchase the sales team have been truly exceptional. Following on from that the after sales team have been fantastic and always there to help with any issues on the vehicles, which I have to highlight have been very few. From a hospitality background , it would be fair to say the experience of the customer journey with all the old and new team has been without fault. I have and will only purchase a Kia from them and only let them service my current Kia portfolio. They must rate as one of the best team and dealerships I have ever dealt with in purchasing personal and company vehicles. You never know the new EV2 could be my 11th vehicle.

Although Jack was our Sales person, from the minute we walked into the showroom, all the staff were friendly and helpful. Jack went above and beyond to find our dream car and spent time showing us around it and how everything worked! Really happy with our purchase and would highly recommend Jack and the Company to anyone looking for a new vehicle.

Jack was brilliant. He showed me the car with great detail. I was then able to drive thre car away with confidence.

Visited Chippenham Motor Company today to buy a car. Yes — buy. We arrived in the rain and walked into the showroom where two salespeople appeared to be busy. No problem at all, we were happy to wait.

One of those salespeople finished with a customer, made clear eye contact with us… and then immediately wandered off to help another family. No greeting, no “I’ll be with you shortly”, no acknowledgment whatsoever. Impressive levels of invisibility training on display.

After waiting a while longer, we decided to leave. On the way out, we realised there weren’t two salespeople after all, there were four. The other two were seated comfortably at their desks with no customers, seemingly committed to an experimental new sales technique: doing absolutely nothing.

I don’t know who owns CMC, but if ignoring customers who are physically standing in your showroom is company policy, then it’s being followed to the letter. If it isn’t, then management may wish to wander the showroom occasionally.

Having since read the reviews, it appears we may have dodged a bullet; aftercare seems to be as absent as the sales staff.

Anyway, back to D Lovett, where customers are at least acknowledged as existing.

I purchased my car through car finance which put me to Collin from chipperman motor company. Can’t fault him in anyway. Helpful and was just a phone call away.

Andrew Wenzel explained everything clearly and was clearly interested in meeting our requirements. A good experience from a sales executive who knows how to deal with customers on a friendly but professional basis.

Had the privilage of purchasing my used Kia Stonic from Lawrence at Kia Chippenham. He was very helpful in fulfilling my requirments and found communication to be very good.

Lawrence was quick to respond to correspondence and kept me well informed through out the process. Over all received excellent service.

We have been kept fully informed during the entire process of exchanging our vehicles for new vehicles. Jack has been clear and answered any questions we have had, even when we have asked them more than once. Our newest purchase is a dream to drive and we are looking forward to our newest car arriving soon. Thanks Jack for being so easy to work with. Sold me a faulty car with undisclosed damage and a short MOT. No repairs done. After I complained, I was pressured from a personal number to withdraw it or get nothing fixed. I have video evidence and the case is now with Trading Standards, the Financial Ombudsman and the ICO. Avoid.

Emerson at Chippenham Motors is absolutely first class. He really took the time to listen to what type of car I needed and recommended one within my budget that also suited my driving needs. His customer service and support really made such a difference, as I had to arrange a new car fairly quickly and he kept me as a priority, which I really appreciated. I felt confident in his recommendation and he guided me through the whole sale process and was more than happy to explain if I was unsure of anything. I can’t thank him enough for guiding me through a stressful time and for being so patient and kind. I would recommend Emerson and Chippenham Motor Company 100%.

I have just purchased my 4th car from Chippenham Motor Company.
I have dealings with a few sales persons during that time.
This time I dealt with Jack and he far exceeded the service I have received previously.
He knew his stuff, listened to what I wanted and gave recommendations. He didn't try to over sell what I hadn't requested.
He is a really nice guy and I hope he is still with you when I purchase another car.

Emerson was brilliant from the start to the end. I originally went in just enquiring when my current lease was going to end, but because Emerson so so excellent I ended up being paid out of current and getting a new car :)

I recently Purchased a car from Chippenham Motor Company with Jack! He was extremely helpful and super friendly. This is my second purchase with CMC and everytime they’ve been super helpful and have kept me informed every step of the way! The service department were also excellent and made it super easy for me to switch over my service plan!

I bought a sportage from here 3 years ago and wasn’t going to change it, however Jack Light called me to say they had some good deals on so I went to have a look. From the first appointment with Jack I was looked after there was no pressure to change my car but I liked the new model so decided to go ahead. Jack kept me informed at every step while the car was in production and then arrived. He made my collection appointment around my daily routine. When I bought my first car I was given the key the car was parked outside and that was it. This time was so different the car was unveiled and Jack showed me all around the car and the new screen inside and made sure I was totally happy with everything before I was ready to leave such a polite sales person and a credit to cmc. He really did go above and beyond for me thank you Jack
