They just simply don't reply.

They were fine for the first half of our sale, then they said they were snowed under and are now not replying to the last enquiry responses. Neither myself, the estate agent or the solicitors can get hold of them by phone or email.

Being able to deal with a UK property sale at a distance without the need to be in UK was excellent. Constant contact & updating and much patience shown to us in the last few weeks especially. Efficient, personable and good price .

I’d happily recommend Clapham & Collinge - this is the second time I’ve worked with Nicola, and once again the service was excellent. She helped me with a settlement agreement following my redundancy, explaining everything clearly and making the whole process straightforward and stress-free. Nicola and Sophie were professional, responsive and supportive throughout. Thank you both for making a difficult situation so much easier.

This is my second review in recent times and outlines very bad service received from a Clapham & Collinge (C&C) solicitor. C&C took on our instruction in August 2025 to submit an application to Land Registry to remove a caution on a very small piece of land and register the land with our property. After many chasing emails from us, the form was finally filled in, in January 2026. The solicitor then submitted the application 3 times but Land Registry never received any applications. This was annoying enough but more frustrating was the total apathy and disinterest in why LR had not received the application. We can only assume that the forms were sent to the wrong place. By May 2026, there was still no sign of the application form being lodged so we called it a day. We reluctantly paid for the filling in of the form (over £500!). We feel very aggrieved that we have wasted 10 months. It was as though it was too small a job to bother spending any time on. If they didn't want the work, they should not have accepted our instruction. A far cry from the good service that we had received in the preceding 7 years with this company.

Provided an excellent professional service for my property purchase. It was a pleasure to have a single point of contact, who was on top of all legal and technical details throughout. Rachel was warm and reassuring, and always responsive to email and telephone communications. EXCEPTIONAL! Highly recommended.

This was our 4th property sale and as usual everything was done very quickly and professionally with sound advice when we wanted clarification of anything.
Normally we deal with Anne, who is excellent, but unfortunately she was indisposed just as we approached exchange and completion, which could have made things really difficult.
However, Rosemary stepped into take her place and was brilliant, turning things round with the same speed as Anne so that we got the dates we were working to with no major hassle from our point of view.
Despite some of the negative comments on here all our dealings with any of the staff have always been totally positive and we would happily recommend them.
