My Experience with Close Bros,
I have no hesitation in telling people to use Close Bros, for their finance. I bought my car in 2021, I took out finance. over 5 years, it finishes this month.I have never had any problems with my car or my finance. I have purchased a few other items through Close Bros, finance and found it to be the same no problem .Close Bros, are a good company to be with.

Do not trust a single word they say. Their claim handler makes promises over the phone, refuses to leave a paper trail, and then go back on their word. They are fully aware the dealership is lying to customers and happily cover for them while doing trash repairs under warranty. Unethical, illegal, and appalling

Its so easy everything wad so fast an easy with the loan and the staff at Close Bros are very profectional an hepfull in the work nothing is a problem with them.

They are great very easy to talk too and so quick on setting up finance.

2nd time i used Close Brothers for finance process from start to finish was excellent. They kept me informed of the process & I had no issues allway helpful five stars from me .

Very straight forward, had 2 loans and no problems.

Terrible service. Bought a car advertised as perfect, been scammed for £10,000 on an unroadworthy car that has been dangerous since purchase. Provided no help and just ignored me for 5 weeks, whenever you ring there staff are half asleep and don’t want to help you or are clueless. Never use their services.
They have just responded to this review telling me to ring or email? Just sums up my review as I have been ringing an emailing them for 5 weeks now and no one ever helps. Only time you get a response is to say sorry we can’t help you. 4 weeks with no assistance and only get given a special case handler after you’ve given me your final response within the first 3 days of the dispute when all of the evidence was not presented. But your staff were not bothered as it required them to do some actual work. You are no help whatsoever the only time I’ve heard back from close brothers is to let me know they have received the £750 as they are being investigated by the financial ombudsman for misconduct. My finance agreement finished 6 weeks ago now and no one could be bothered to remove my finance marker so I could no purchase another car this weekend as the one I received from close brothers was a right off from the day of purchase and should never have been on the road. Another 5 days without a car on top of the original 5 weeks since the car has failed 15 major defects due to structural rot. Make sure you get an independent mechanic these people are useless.

It was simple and easy. No hassle and no dramas. Once in place, setting up from start to finish was smooth and quick, everything ticked along just as you would expect.

Sold me finance on a pickup that doesn’t belong to the company who sold the vehicle.
Reported this to close brothers and 6 month later I’m still paying finance for a stolen vehicle.
The call centre is in South Africa the staff cant speak or understand English so communication is terrible.
Updates are like drops of blood.

Close brothers were a pre selected finance company when I purchased a car from a dealer. I found the process of getting finance so simple amd easy. I found it easier to get finance than it was to start s new job!!!!!! Unbelievably simple and easy!!! Highly recommend!!!!!!!
