It was very straight forward l am waiting to pick

my car up so hopefully all be good thankyou for all your help.

I can’t believe how easy the whole process was from talking to the car dealer every thing else was instigated by close brothers and I was guided through the process with ease 10/10

This was my first transaction.
For now I do not have any concerns.

My daughter purchased a Peugeot 5008 with finance arranged through Close Brothers from an independent garage who also acted as the finance broker. The car was collected on 25th July, the first fault with the car was reported on 26th July. The DPF addative pump does not function so the DPF is completely choked and the car exhaust smoking when driven with the car in danger of igniting. An independent garage has investigated the issues and provided a full report and quote for parts for an initial repair at over £1400 for the parts alone with no guarantee this will resolve the issue. These have been shared with Close Brothers and rejection of the car requested within the initial 30 day period. The garage is not answering any emails or calls despite assurances they will do all they can to help and Close Brothers are not helping, saying they cannot rewind the HP agreement without consent from the garage/ broker. According to Consumer Law this is not correct, my daughters contract is with Close Brothers, no one else, they have a legal obligation to rewind the policy and put my daughter in the Financial position she was in prior to this agreement by refunding the installment and deposit paid. It is then their responsibility to claw this back from the other parties involved. My daughter is a working nurse for the NHS and a mother of 3 small children who now has no vehicle to get to work or transport her children and is being ignored by all parties concerned. Absolutely shocking and disgusting behaviour, the car is dangerous and cannot be driven and until this is resolved my daughter cannot purchase an alternative vehicle so faces a choice to risk her life and that of her three children or not work. CLOSE BROTHERS YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF

Only just got car but so far so good. Happy with deal as to whats been stated so far and welcome email was nice. So glad that this firm doesn't insist on having a Finance Agreement being signed on 'Doc-u-Sign' esignature on-line as I'm not that technically savvy. Glad things are being posted to me so I have what I need on paper, So far, I'm a happy bunny.

Absolutely amazing service from start to finish. Very professional and the finance was set up very quickly with a very low interest rate. I have paid my finance off early and I have got a payment back as I payed it off the same time a direct debit went out and it came back to me in the time frame they had set.

I'm very very disappointed with close brothers company. I got sold a complete and utter jolopy of a car. It was completely undrivable and sat nearly a whole year on my property doing sweet F.A ! It cost £3000 to buy and I have lost approximately £1500 and absolutely nothing to show for it ! DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH CLOSE BROTHERS !!

Excellent company which I have used a couple of times before. Very professional, helpful and quick service...would recommend this company to others.

Part 3: we have just had an email from our case Manager stating if we do not respond she will close our case. We have been continually emailing for a resolution and she has not bothered to respond. We now have to pay out of our own pocket to transport the car back to the garage with no assistance from close brothers and still paying for a car that wassold faulty and now doesn't start. I want someone at Close brothers to contact us to tell us the complaints procedure as we have asked several times and she has ignored our emails. Terrible company and just want your money.

Supper slow with handling complaints, the complaint handler didn't even bother to read ur emails. Thulebona Thusi, im going through trading standards now , dont bother with this company
