Honestly don’t know where else to turn at this point. Bought a car in Jan on finance, started having issues with it pretty much straight away. Informed close brothers in march (6weeks) of the issue. Filed a formal issue with the car in April. We’re now in August. I was lied to about repairs on my car (told I was getting a new engine but it’s the same engine block), had my car returned to me in worse state and despite trying to return the car it’s being blocked left right and centre. My agent hasn’t contacted me in 8 business days, I requested to talk to a manager nearly a month ago and received nothing. Been threatened with having the dealers turn up at my house to collect the car (not comfortable with them having my address after the lies about changing the engine) and been left with no form of functioning transport. I am disabled, my car is my only form of transport to and from hospital appointments, or even to just get out and about.
Nobody appears to want to help with this. My credit score has dropped because I was forced to pay for a hire car (despite me expressing my concerns about this) and close brothers then failed to pay the invoices meaning I couldn’t pay off the credit bill.
The psychological distress caused by this company is unbelievable. I’ve been left incredibly unwell. Please someone just help!

They made sure that I had sufficient capital to purchase my vehicle. Also the transaction was completed within four days. It gives peace of mind when staff know their job, and customers. J Grice

Great finance company I didn’t have much of credit as just started a business and they helped me I would use them next time I need finance for new vans always when contacted them they wer very helpful no hassle 👌🏻

I have used Close BROTHERS TWICE NOW in the last 3 months, they gave finance on a motorcycle 3 months ago, did not like the motorcycle, traded it in for another motorbike, they pay off the outstanding balance on the old motorbike and gave me finace on the new motorbike 3 days ago, getting finace with CLOSE BROTHERS, IS STRESS FREE

I financed my range rover with these guys, girls,shemen, menshes what ever they may be. Found them to be fine Didnt once had to call or call me payments made every month on time so had no dealings with them at all.

CB provided great service at a fair price.
Happy to deal with them again if and when required.

Numerous complaints over the years. Too many to mention. Speak to somebody one time
On the phone. Then the next person doesn’t know what you’re talking about. Shocking, spent far too much time

Wrote a bad review about my experience and got told to call a number and it didn’t make a difference they said it’s been past 6 months and what they are asking for is virtually impossible don’t go with this company they don’t care about their customers

it took close brothers about a month to sort out a problem i had . very hard to get hold of them. to do anything for the customer . not happy with them at all. this is the second it i have used them first time i had a loan of 24000 but that was good second time rubbish. never use again I can not believe it 14 /8/26.just urgent message from close brothers. I have not paid my first payment. They do not no what they are doing. Keep a way. Warning.

Been with close brothers for 2 years and just got my new car again without any problems thanks easy paper work to fill in after care is brilliant had a little problem but the team got on it with no problems thanks

Hired bailiff thugs to chase me down
Got car insurance at a low price
(Via right choice insurance brokers)
Until 2 cars hit me and I wasn't at fault
They then quadrupled my monthly installments and so | cancelled
Then they took me to court and hired bailiffs to clamp my car
Won't enter negotiations about repaying and have add on nearly two thousand pounds of fee
Ridiculous scammers
They should think about their customers who are barely getting by

Do not use this company. I had liability insurance with them. And when I cancelled my liability insurance as was no longer needed as I left the trade.
Well withing 5 days of being told its £75 leaving fee plus the monthly payment....
We will send you an email with the cost of leaving.
Waited 2 days finally saw the email but withing 5 days of cancellation they past it onto another company threatening if you dont pay £105 by yesterday 🤣🤣🤣 courts are involved... interest is being added by the day and a CCJ.

God I havnt time to breathe since I cancelled my policy and certainly haven't had the chance to reply withing 5 days of my cancelled contract.

Just STAY CLEAR OF CLOSE BROTHERS.
