Offered a refund for their awful service in 2022! And they never refunded it. Please don’t waste your money with this company.

Driver was very helpful, Time conscious, and professional.

Complete scam. No service delivered as driver did not show up yet the company refused to refund. Avoid at all costs.

Driver arrived on time and promptly started the move. Damien was efficient and moved everything safely.

Efficient communication beforehand from the company and the driver. And a sofa, one of the items for transport, wasnt ready to be moved as we hadnt realised it had to be dismantled by a professional upholsterer, before being manoeuvered out of the building - and your representative was so patient and helpful.

Booked a man and van and got it cancelled less than two hours before the appointment. Terrible service and exploitation of appointment. If they can just cancel an appointment anytime at their convenience, what is the point of making one!? It caused great distress and financial loss to me. Terrible service, completely not reliable.

I got an amazing man and van (BIG MAN AND VAN) who provided stunning service and was super friendly and kind. He knew what he was doing because he could tell when my moving was inefficient and directed me in ways to not spend extra money or be disappointed. Great value too as I only paid £50.5 an hour which is much cheaper than any other company’s quotation. I was a bit skeptical at first because of the bad reviews (of the website) and lack of communication from the driver when you initially booked but I made sure to only pick the one that had the highest and most reviews so that I wasn’t disappointed. I also made sure to call my man and van ahead of time to confirm all the details (number in the emails they send) and that also helped ease my anxiety.

My driver refused to stay the remaining 30 minutes of the booking and to help me get the boxes upstairs, even though I paid for it (both timewise, and flights of stairs). He helped us unload in front of the building and said he won't come up because he was worried about parking. I had spoken to the concierge of my building and I had arranged permanent parking, plus I was given the go ahead to park on the double yellow in front of the building entrance as long as there was a person with the van at all times. I told him this multiple times but he insisted going to park in the arranged space (2min walk away) was too complicated, and instead told me he'll stay over the double yellow and help but if he gets fined, I'm responsible for it. I insisted that I have arranged parking, but he refused to use it. As I did not want to be held accountable for a potential fine when I took all the steps to prevent it, I just wished him good day and managed on my own, but this is truly disrespectful behaviour. I was overcharged and pressured into signing off early without the service being completed by being threatened with a fine, which I already suggested a solution to!

The driver was 2 and half hours late and in the end didn’t pick up

Used this service and they ended up purchasing via AnyVan for half the price they charged me! They also underestimated the amount of things I needed to move, probably to get themselves a better price so the driver refused to take the rest of my things for a house move!

Absolutely terrible service. Moving house is stressful enough, but this made it so much worse. My driver cancelled my booking only after I messaged him because he was already 15 minutes late. By then, all of my furniture had been moved onto the driveway and was ready for collection, leaving me completely stranded.

To make matters worse, there was nobody available to contact as it was the weekend.

I definitely wouldn’t recommend Compare Man and Van based on my experience.

I recently used this service for a 3-bedroom move involving only boxes and no heavy furniture, and the experience was a complete nightmare.

Extremely Slow & Dragging the Clock: We booked a 2-person team for 3.5 hours. They showed up with a tiny trolley and spent time playing on their phones at every opportunity. It became obvious they were trying to stretch the job as long as possible to charge extra overtime—a total scam when paying hourly. My family had to step in and do the heavy lifting ourselves just to finish in a reasonable time.

Lack of Capability & Effort: One worker didn't even move anything into our new place; he just unloaded boxes at the car park while my family and the other worker did the actual moving.

Surprise Fees & Broken Promises: They insisted we needed a bigger van and claimed we had to pay for parking (which no previous mover has ever required), promising to send receipts that we never received.

Property Damage: To top it all off, my desk was cracked during the process.

Moving is stressful enough without having to deal with an unfit, unprofessional team that adds unnecessary headaches. I only used them because my usual mover was fully booked, and I deeply regret it. Do not use this company.

The easiest way to transport your stuff. I searched a lot on internet cuz i wanted to book a van for an instant use with a reasonable price. I found this website. And it gave me best rate + instant service too.

My original booking was apparently dropped by the driver, but the company arranged for a replacement driver. It all went well on the day of moving, and the new driver was friendly and helpful.

Super quick, extremely helpful getting loaded/unloaded. Highly recommend.
