I have been feeding my spaniel Cotswold Raw from a pup(year and half),recently I decided to take up the subscription rather than going to the pet shop,my first order arrived defrosted,this order was re sent to me but in polesterine boxes as it was not adequately packaged to keep it frozen(I did request the boxes for subsequent orders).
I received email saying my next order was being prepared and would be sent between mon to Thursday,no other emails arrived,the order got delivered on the Friday pm but I was not told it was being delivered nor was I informed that it had been delivered (order was left outside of the house) I subsequently found it the next morning but by than it was defrosted,the order was not packaged in polesterine boxes as requested previously, I have contacted Cotswold Raw and waiting response.
As a result of this experience I have now cancelled my subscription as I think the delivery and packaging is not adequate for raw food,it has made me concerned about continuing to feed my dog Cotswold raw,there has been times even prior to this experience that my dog didnât touch the food,this experience has made me question how much of the food delivered to the vet store was defrosted and re-frosted!! Could this explain why my dog at times would refuse to eat it after smelling it!!
I am now actively looking for another brand

Thank you for your feedback, please accept our sincere apologies that you have received issues with your recent orders from us.
Having looked into this, I can see after the issue with your first delivery, a replacement order was sent which I understand arrived safely.
I can see that your second order was processed and delivered via our own van 2 days after generating. Unfortunately, there was an error on our part as the shipping notification was not actioned to advise you of the expected delivery. I apologize for this mistake and have raised with our Bookings office to make sure that all orders are shipped.
Following your conversation with our Customer Service Manager, a replacement order has been scheduled for delivery tomorrow and a collection of the received goods. A note has also been added to your account to use polystyrene boxes on future orders as per your request.
Once again, we apologize for the disappointment and inconvenience this has caused.

Food is really good and only food we've found that suits our Cocker Spaniel's sensitive digestion.
Only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that, at present, subscriptions cannot be amended; otherwise subscription service works very well.

Our Woody loves Cotsworld RAW
Our Woody loves Cotsworld RAW! After a few years of him being on Butternut box we decided to change to Raw food due to his coat being very dry and him not being able to put on or hold any weight. As a very active spaniel, this is a great option for him! The sales team are super helpful and very responsive! It was the best decision we might change over to Cotswold RAW heâs been eating raw since June 2025 and itâs the best decision we made itâs really made a difference to his weight and his coat and itâs a great product.

A great product
A great product. My dog is both gluten intolerant and has a farmed protein allergy (from farmed meats). As soon as I put him on the Wild range, he was sorted & he absolutely loves his food. There is very little waste comes out the other side too, and Iâm glad to say itâs firmed him up a treat! Donât hesitate to get your pooch on this stuff.
