Poor customer service. Website shows a 12 month warranty on all items. Reported a faulty item 11 months after buying it due to it just completely losing all power and was told it's down to wear and tear usage rather than the product being faulty and they would offer a £10 refund as 'goodwill'. Spent over £100 on the item and they're essentially saying it won't even last a year? Stay clear of these coybows.
Scam
Scam. I ordered a duvet which they said was in stock - it was not, so I cancelled the order within 4 hours of buying it. Was told to wait up to 14 days for my refund. After 14 days no money. Was then told to wait 5-7 days. Then told to wait 48hrs - still no refund. They said the money was with the supplier, but I've spoken to the duvet company and they have nothing to do with it.

Such a shame they seem to be running Cuckooland into the ground. I ordered a dark pink bed but received a cream colour instead. I sent photos to their customer service team and I have been told that as per their T&Cs, there may be some slight colour differences. Slight?! This is completely different and is not what I ordered. Their customer service is terrible. Plus the bed had something hard and crusty stuck in the material which Iâve had to scrape off.
I purchased two lamps from this companyâŠ
I purchased two lamps from this company and later realised they didnât suit my lounge, so I contacted them to request the return address. Instead of simply providing it, they asked for photos of the lamps in my room so they could decide whether they were âsuitableâ or not. I explained that the decision to return them was mine, and that one lamp was already packed away with care, so I wasnât reopening the parcel just to take photos.
After several weeks I chased my refund, I was told they hadnât received the items. I then sent them a photo clearly showing the parcels sitting in their office, and only then did they confirm they had actually arrived. Itâs now been around six weeks and I still havenât received my refund. I keep being told itâs an issue with their distributor not collecting the items, which has nothing to do with me.
Iâve now had to initiate a chargeback with my credit card company due to their abysmal service.
Initial delay, but handled brilliantly
After an initial delay with my order, I have to say both Cuckooland and the delivery company were absolutely 5 star.
Communication was excellent, they kept me updated throughout, and once things were back on track the delivery was smooth and professional. The item arrived safely and Iâm really pleased with the service overall.
And most importantly â the bed is absolutely fab, really good quality and looks wonderful.
The only small point Iâd mention is that the Highlands delivery charge seems a little high, especially as Inverness is mainland Scotland, so it might be worth looking at in future.
Overall though, excellent service and I would happily recommend them.
Diabolical customer service and faulty goods
I bought a childrenâs mid-sleeper bed that became unstable after just four months of normal use. The side rail â a critical safety feature designed to stop a child falling from height â moves and does not stay secure.
Before contacting the company, I followed their own instructions and tightened all fixings. The problem remained. Despite this, they dismissed the issue as âroutine maintenanceâ and refused to acknowledge any fault.
The bed is now not being used at all because it is unsafe. My child has been left without a bed, and I am also stuck with a mattress that only fits this specific frame and is now completely useless.
What is most concerning is the companyâs attitude. Rather than addressing a clear child safety issue, they relied on scripted responses, hid behind âgoodwillâ language, and refused a full refund. Apparently, a safety rail that works loose on a childâs elevated bed within months is considered acceptable to them.
If this is their standard for childrenâs furniture and customer care, I would strongly advise parents to shop elsewhere. Safety should not be optional.

I ordered dining table and chairs at the beginning of November, scheduled for delivery early December. I still do not have my order, I am now left with no dining table for Xmas, my family Xmas has been ruined. This company will fob you off and tell you they have the stock when, in fact, they don't. Communication is terrible, I stated a couple of weeks ago that I would like a refund if they could not supply for Xmas, this would allow me source elsewhere, I was still informed that I would get it delivered on time. I have only just been informed that I will have my order 29/12, too late for me. This company are happy to take your money and hold on to it and fob you off.

Unsafe Childrenâs Bed & Extremely Disappointing Customer Response
Iâm really disappointed with my experience with Cuckooland. I purchased a childrenâs bed recommended for ages 4+, and my son â who is 4 â was injured while using it under completely normal conditions, due to sharp posts within the sleeping area. As a parent, this was extremely distressing.
When I raised the issue, the company repeatedly insisted that the bed meets BS EN 8509 safety standards, but this does not change the fact that my child was hurt. Real-world safety cannot be assessed by lab tests alone, and you simply cannot put a price on a childâs safety.
Instead of investigating the product properly or offering a suitable resolution, I was told the bed was not faulty and that any additional precautions were my responsibility â despite my son using the bed exactly as intended.
I requested either a replacement bed of a different model or a refund so that my son could sleep safely, but this was refused. I was instead offered a small goodwill payment of £60 to âput in place safety measuresâ which does not address the issue or the risk posed.
I will be escalating this matter to the companyâs Managing Director and the Furniture & Home Improvement Ombudsman, as I believe safety concerns involving children should be taken far more seriously.
This experience has left me extremely disappointed, and I cannot recommend Cuckooland based on how this situation has been handled.

Discovered independently that Flair Furnishings owns Cuckooland meaning customers are being misled into making purchases for stock that hasn't even been made. No refund yet received and bed is mysteriously back in stock again on their website!

Do not order from this company. Followed up on an order after the expected delivery of 10-14 days. They they asked did I want to confirm the order as it would be 10-14 date- absolute nonsense. After "confirming" the order and following up again and again I was told it would take 3 weeks. I assume this is another lie and I don't expect to get my order before Christmas which is a child's gift. Very frustrating.

Ordered a bed that the website said was in stock and would be dispatched after 5 days. It wasnt dispatched after 5 days. Got in contact with the company who then told me 10-14 days. Then when i tried to clarify this they reported 30-45 days. Clearly they cannot committ to when customers will ever get their products yet they take your money straight away!

Judging from previous reviews the service is experiencing huge problems this summer! I have ordered £670 worth of kids furniture, the two items out of three arrived and the most expensive, nursery set £460 worth didnât arrive. I was trying to call cuckooland for days but their phone line is clearly not working - two days âbusyâ. It was impossible to get through. In addition when Iâm trying to access my order from my account online it comes up with an error message. Iâve emailed them , two days later they replied they will look into it and silence again for daysâŠ. outrageous

Would not recommend, ordered a bunk bed. Got a text with a delivery date the next day. My partner took the day off work to help me get it in and that morning we took the boys beds down as they was broken and fixed so once day couldnât just put them back up, to then get a test a hour later saying they canât deliver as they havenât been given my order yet!! 2 days later and kids are still sleeping on the floor with no updates to when the beds will come, so in to minds to cancel the order all together! My poor kids
Charges for returns
Bought a bed online. It had the dimensions of the bed itself but not the headboard. I couldn't fit the headboard through the door so had to return it. I was charged for taking the headboard out of the box as 'packaging was damaged'. Ridiculous. Only bother buying something if you know for sure you will keep it otherwise you'll lose money on the return

Sizing is wrong
Bed looks beautiful was not to much of a fuss to put up took awhile but is sized wrong the single mattress & small double mattress don't fit right cause the measurements are way off the bed is bigger then the measurements say so I had trouble placing in my kids room had to place it where to he honest it's driving me crazy but after all I had to do to get it up all the screws and time to take it down to send it back was just way to much of a strain on my bad back otherwise would of sent it right back

Also when you order they give you no form of tracking or tell you when your item will show up . You have to constantly chase them . Itâs a nightmare I shall not be ordering again from this company.
