Cvent has been really easy to set up and was the perfect platform to host our inaugural customer conference on. We're looking forward to hosting it again this year and the ability to clone a previous event saves so much time.

We are a private recitation club based in Alberta with a banquet facility. We registered with Cvent last year hoping to boost our corporate bookings, but unfortunately, our experience has been very disappointing.

The platform’s support structure is quite fragmented—multiple people handle different aspects, which made it difficult to get clear, consistent answers. After-sales service, in particular, has been poor and unresponsive.

We have not received any enquiries through Cvent to date. We have only seen one enquiry on the platform, and that was about three months ago. Since then, there has been no activity or follow-up.

We also have not heard back from anyone despite reaching out. Could someone please connect with us and walk us through the process and how to effectively use the platform?

Overall, we did not see the value we expected and would not recommend this platform to others in our industry.

It brings the full lifecycle—registration, venue sourcing, communications, onsite execution, and post‑event analytics—into a single, well-integrated system. The result for me has been faster timelines, better attendee experiences, cleaner data, and clearer ROI.

From the start, the venue sourcing (Cvent Supplier Network) stands out. I can create standardized RFPs, compare proposals side by side, and track negotiations without spreadsheets or email threads. This has shortened venue selection cycles and improved rate transparency, especially for multi‑city programs.

On the registration and website side, the builder is flexible enough to handle simple meetings and complex, multi‑track conferences. Conditional logic, custom fields, and dynamic content let me personalize journeys by attendee type. I’ve seen higher completion rates because the flow is intuitive on both desktop and mobile, and payment processing is seamless when needed.

- meetings - so many meetings, so many rooms, so not a problem
- sessions - capacities, visibility, waitlist, surveys,
- event app - available on as an app or HTML5 - it has everything an attendee needs.

- Our CVENT events were always treated with care and professional service. White glove treatment, and relevant training was always provided. When wanting to use a custom solution, we could have things tailored for our brand/corporate needs.

Feature rich platform that allows you to brand and customise your online event experience. Easy to use, great onboarding team and a slick experience for delegates. The ability to fully customise the event registration experience and then pulling that information through to the in-person app and the onsite registration experience means we can quickly understand what our customers are interested in, who registered and who ultimately attended so we can report quickly on success and areas for improvement.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with this company. I was charged for the remainder of a contract even though I never used the software as it was not a good user experience and the customer service throughout the process was poor and unhelpful.

What makes this worse is that I had an email confirming that my subscription would not renew, yet they said that i was going to renew without a signed agreement from both parties.

Before sending my last payment for a service I did not use and did not find valuable, I requested written confirmation that they will not attempt to renew or charge me again.

I strongly recommend that anyone considering this company proceed with extreme caution and use an ethical company.

While we encountered integration issues with our platform, the Cvent team has supported us in finding alternative routes to achieve our goals.

The attendee surveys are such a great way to get insight into what did or didn’t land with guests. They give us great insight into what changes to make for future events!
