It appears that staff are over run and unable to cope with the demand and sheer amount of perscriptions and mishaps, the surguries blane the pharmacy the pharmacy blame the surguries or drs , the drs seem unaware or confused at how you havnt received your perscriptions for weeks or unable to repeat them abd blame the pharmacy and it just goes around and around in a never ending circle while your health is impacted, the staff get frustrated and fatigued from being over worked, short staffed or excessive mistakes, the customers get the blame & the brunt, the customer gets angry and frustrated and desperate while their health declines and they are denied their perscriptions due to delay which further impacts on health and are often the ones running back & forward between surgury & pharmacy with no help, in 2026 it appears like the system has drasticly declined back to the dark ages where snake skin oil salesmen and witch drs are more viable accessable options than the "modern" NHS system , good luck, several patients walked out the chemist in disgust the other day , every day there is ques out the doors and round the corner with 2 hr wait times. The staff dont mean to be intensionally rude im sure, but they are exhausted and human abd this should not be occuring , we are in modern day Britian not a 1800s third world country supposedly .

2nd review and the same reason as last time. My prescription was prescribed on the 4th of this month and it's now the 17th and still waiting. I have now changed pharmacy due to the utter incompetence of this pharmacy. They also NEVER answer the phone. I have watched 4 people working behind the counter and completely ignore the ringing phone. Avoid this place

I actually give up with this pharmacy now. It used to be the best in the area. It’s fallen to bits now or I’ve been targeted because I made a complaint. Weeks and weeks waiting for medication deliveries. And some just never turn up. I may add these are vital medications I need to take for chronic illnesses. I’m not almost 3 weeks into waiting for my latest delivery, and can’t get hold of them over the phone EVER. Last time I counted 17 staff working in there at one time (that’s without counting their delivery drivers) so no idea why the phone is NEVER answered. After complaining to regional, I get a rude response and unanswered questions. I’ve not been without my anxiety meds for nearly 3 weeks waiting and I’m struggling to cope. But can’t get down there due to my mobility and can’t get hold of anyone on the phone. Negligence at its finest. Looking for another pharmacy as we speak as I cannot survive the wait.

When they ask for my name and date of birth, I have to say it loudly because there is no paper or pen available to write it down, unlike at other GP pharmacies in the UK. This does not respect patient privacy.

The queues can sometimes be an hour in the Day Lewis at St Clare Medical Centre Penzance. I have been unfortunate enough to deal with them for my meds for a few years now, but things have progressively got worse. You very often collect your meds and items missing you try to ring them nobody answers the phone thought I would try the locker to collect my meds "out of order" And when I complained a very rude Manager came out and shouted at me in front of the whole queue other friends had same problem they are not at all helpful and their Customer care is awful. I have now changed to another Chemist and what a difference courteous check the meds before you go out of the pharmacy and I did not have to wait for over a week to get my meds dispensed. I was in this morning to collect a prescription from the darlington branch at denmark street and we had to take it straight over to the nurse. There was some confusion because the doctor had ordered it, so the nurse asked me to go over and ask for a refund as it hadn't been open or left the premises. The pharmacist had a disgusting attitude even after i explained the circumstances. To be honest people like him shouldn't be working with the public. I know nothing with come of this writing a review and people like him will just keep doing as they please. He wants to be ashamed of himself. The pharmarcy is a joke, the 2 girls on the front were lovely willing to help anyone but he just picked and chose who he was willing to help. To be honest pharmacist is a joke.shame on you.

Went to collect prescription from Bradford on Avon Health Centre, Day Lewis - Station Approach, Bradford-on-Avon BA15 1DQ . I have been using the pharmacy for many years, the improvement in service, customer care and support is remarkable. I popped in 15.00 5th March to pick up my preordered drugs, calm, well organized, carming in terms of approach and care and as a team were clearly enjoying great local leadership and direction. I have been at various Chemists whilst looking after parents and for monthly personal prescriptions over the past 9 years. Day Lewis in Thornton Liverpool is without doubt the most efficient chemist I have ever dealt with. Always text me when it’s ready and the past frustrating situations of some items short or out of stock or prescription not ready have completely disappeared at Day Lewis. Fully recommend.
Unprofessional Pharmacy
This Pharmacy has missed sending my mothers medication on several occasions. She is 91, bed bound and lives with Alzheimer's. when challenged about this they have blamed individual staff members, as they were sick and did not do the task, the GP's for not sending the prescriptions quickly enough, the GP's system and their system being different etc. I changed the delivery from weekly to 4 weekly with a delivery of 3 weekly so her medication never runs out. They agreed this and still failed to deliver on time. When I raised this I was told I didn't understand how it works and submitted to an explanation about what colour week my mum was on which has nothing to do with me. All I want is a simple task of delivering a vulnerable persons medication on time. When I asked about the customer being right and customer service, I was told I am not a customer I am a patient which is different. Are they saying a patient has less rights??? I found the person "Milad" who dealt with me was insensitive, not concerned and ready to blame everyone and everything else apart from their service. They seriously need to look at their customer service and their processes also how they work with the GP's to deliver for people that rely on these service for their survival.
Unfailingly wonderful service
The pharmacy in Sonning Common is WONDERFUL! The staff are consistently kind and unfailingly 'go the extra mile' in being helpful. They deserve unreserved appreciation. I am just so grateful to them.

very poor service most of the time the Medication never turns up when i need it example i phoned on a Monday for them to Deliver on a Wednesday it never came i had to wait until Friday afternoon to go down and collect it myself.And it still was not ready i had to sit in the Pharmacy for at least half a hour before i got the Medication. quite a few times this has happened not happy at all about this.

Biggin hill branch the worst service ever from a chemist every time you go there they leave you standing at the counter they ignore your even there never have any tablets in stock tell you to go back on a day to collect and when you return still don't have them leave a 96 year old out of tablets even put the wrong sticker on tablets once put her at risk lucky were only ante sickness tablets just come back yet again after going back to be told got to wait another 4 day for them come on someone from head office sort them out I will be changing chemist totally refuse to use your company again
Great customer service at Day Lewis Pharmacy Woodley, Reading Berkshire
This is the best pharmacy in Woodley by far!! Setting the bar and standard very high for customer satisfaction. Anish and his team. Simply put are the best. Always polite, friendly and full of great advice. If they haven't got your medication they advise where might have it if they cannot order it in. Anish and his team make you feel welcomed and not made to feel a number on an inconvenience by asking for your medication. Remembering each customer and putting customers concerns and worries at ease. Dispensing medications quickly and good interaction with customers. It's that consistent personal touch that makes Day Lewis pharmacy in Woodley stand out as the best pharmacy in the area. I've been going to this pharmacy for well over 10 years. Never have I seen any of the staff get annoyed or frustrated at customers. Which I have seen in other pharmacys. I don't even have to give my name when I need prescriptions as they always remember me. So if your looking for a pharmacy in Woodley that's always helpful and friendly and full of great customer service. This is the one to use!! There is also free parking too.

Day lewis pharmacy Peckham..the Worst pharmacy ever to go.The staff are highly trained with Rudeness especially the black Ghanaian ones..Today the 28th of January 2026,I went in there for pharmacy first which they provide. I then asked for the medication I could get under NHS as I am on free prescription only to be abused and called a Scrounger, that All i know was free Benefit, the Manager told me to Get a Job and stop asking for free Medication..I burst out Crying.. He even told me his Name and that I should report him if I wanted too...Name OSEI OKOTO..Registering No..2211971...DAY LEWIS PHARMACY PECKHAM HIGH STREET NEEDS A CHANGE OF ADMINISTRATION. Nobody should be able to talk down to your patient like that and get away with it..So Unacceptable.

I visited Day Lewis Pharmacy St Austell on 27/01/26. I found the staff outstanding. Fast , efficient , professional and empathetic. In all honesty, this pharmacy was the best I’ve ever visited.
Beautifully light, fresh, clean and most importantly well stocked. I also found that the marvellous staff manager Sue and Pharmacist Steve running Day Lewis pharmacy were very welcoming, open, caring & altruistic. Such a refreshing change. A five star experience. 10/10 Mrs P Jones.
