DBM were absolutely brilliant
DBM were absolutely brilliant. The booking process was professional and easy. They sent lots of helpful emails in preparation for the move. On the day, the four men showed up on time and worked incredibly hard from start to finish. I think the total time from them arriving at our flat to leaving us at our new house was 5.5 hours including a 1.5 hour drive. 4 hours to entirely pack, disassemble furniture, load the vans, unload the vans and reassemble all the furniture in the new house was beyond belief! Everything was in pristine condition, nothing is even slightly damaged. They worked so fast but took a lot of care when packaging anything fragile. I would highly recommend them, and a fraction of the cost of some of these big national companies.

Great service
We used DBM twice. They are amazing! They try their best to make the move as easy as possible and have taken great care of all items. I would highly recommend them.

Disappointed with our last move
Disappointed with our last move, as they left us several damaged items, including our piano and an art frame. When we let them know: silence, never heard from them again. Thankfully it was relatively minor but it leaves you to wonder what would have happened if the damage had been worse. We'll likely not go with DBM again in the future. A shame as we had another move in the past with them with no damages at all. On the bright side they were flexible and allowed a special collection elsewhere before our move in, which we really appreciated.

From my first contact with DBM movers
From our first contact with DBM movers, everyone was so helpful and made the whole moving experience very positive.
On 24-11-25, the day we moved, the team of 5 were amazing. The speed, efficiency and hard work of them was second to none.
The house was cleared by 10.30! Unfortunately we then had to wait ages for the money transfer.
Then we were given the wrong house key, resulting in a locksmith opening the door.
Once inside, the team worked with continued efficiency, arranging furniture, making beds and bringing in all the boxes.
I don’t have the names of the 5 men team, but have nothing but praise and gratitude to them. They were all brilliant!
We would 100% recommend DBM.

Just had a quote for moving from UK to eastern Spain. £6,000-£7,000. Even if had been in euros absolute rip off. Other quotes coming in at around £2,000.

It was very clear and fast…
It was very clear and fast communication regarding the quote, available slots for movement right week ahead.
The movers were great and fast, packing was very accurate, even fragile Lego items, crafted by my son were transported without being crashed-unexpected, but so pleased!
So best experience, really could recommend.

Smooth moving experience
Great customer service from my first phone call inquiring about the process to the two men who handled our items. The process was clear, they confirmed my move date and information only a couple hours after I first called. We had them move a small apartment’s worth of items in a short distance.
On the move day the two men arrived early and moved very quickly. They handled our items with care and did a great job. We had a short move, but would highly recommend DBM Express as movers!

value for money - goed enough
overall there wasn't a serious complication or damage. But towards the afternoon as the team got more tired - they tended to not follow directions and placed things in random places. They intended to request money for refreshing the carpet cover - as they were muddying the new carpets.

Your move was indeed a large one, and although we allocated a large team, we are all human beings — not everyone has the same physical stamina, and some periods involve more demanding jobs. Even so, we always aim to maintain a high standard throughout the entire day. We’re sorry if, toward the afternoon, it appeared as though the team wasn’t following directions as closely; we will address this to ensure better consistency.
Regarding the carpet protection, our intention is always to keep new carpets clean. Any additional protective materials should be discussed clearly with clients, and we will review this internally to avoid any misunderstandings going forward.
