Beware of the late fee
The movers that came were great. Super quick and efficient and respected our stuff.
My main issue is nowhere in the terms did it say about the late charge that is applied if you do not get the keys for the new house by 1pm. This was also not mentioned in the call to discuss the move.
So they told us this on the day and would not unpack our stuff until it was paid, so we had no option. It was only 2 30pm that we moved so not even that late. And super common timing when buying a house.

Dear Joanna,
Thank you for your feedback and for highlighting the great work of our moving team — we’re glad to hear they were quick, efficient, and respectful of your belongings.
Regarding the late fee, we’d like to clarify that this is specified in our Terms & Conditions, which were agreed to at the time of booking. We strive to be fully transparent with our charges and never hide any potential extra fees that may apply. The late fee exists to cover the additional waiting time and resources required when access to the property is delayed, which unfortunately can happen during house purchases.
We understand how stressful moving days can be and will continue to do our best to make the process as smooth as possible.
Kind regards,
DBM Express Movers Team

Used DBM twice with excellent experience
We have used DBM twice, both times our experience has been excellent.
-Quick response to e-mails and questions
-on the removal day, the team was punctual and very hardworking. Hardly no breaks at all.
-our items were carefully handled, like our leather sofa that was entirely wrapped in plastic. The team took care not to knock against walls and fittings.
- a move of a three-bed house was completed by 4 pm
We could not recommend anybody better than DBM and if we move in future we will only contact them for help.

Great company
Kept me updated via email every step of the way, right up to moving day. Guys turned up promptly and got to work straight away. They were very good at what they do and had us packed up very quickly. Unpacking the other end was also straight forward. Everything was put where we asked it to be. No damage caused. They made what is normally quite a stressful day seamless. Would definitely recommend.
