We had been considering a Camper for approx 5 years. We had reviewed all the providers within 50 miles of us and Denby stood out. Their informative website was great. We then met Jonathan, Lloyd and Jim at the NEC Caravan and Camper Show and we were sold. They knew their stuff, were friendly, really helpful and in no way pushy. Plus their camper conversions were second to none of all the other providers, in our view. From the day we ordered our camper to picking it up, to using it with gusto, Denby have been there to assist whenever we needed to discuss a little niggle or for another tutorial on how to use things properly… which is really easy BTW! I can’t rate the team (and Leanne of course - who is a superstar!) highly enough. Great product. great experience. Simple!

We purchased our van in 2020. The level of service we have received is truly exceptional. I have learnt so much about our van from the Denby technical team who seem to be The customer service team, especially Leanne, are so helpful and the technicians able to fix and advise on many issues.

I bought my High Top T6.1 from Denby's in 2024. Since then I have been back to them for a leisure battery upgrade and some habilitation tweaks. They are always very reassuring and flexible. It feels good to know that the company 'has my back'. And I LOVE my VW van.

Picked up our newly converted van in November and it is brilliant. We had a fantastic experience from a chance visit to look around through all the communications of what we wanted to the final pickup. The van is fab and the staff cared a lot about experience. Highly recommend!

We are delighted with our second van from Denby Campervans. After more than 200,000 miles in the fantastic van we bought from Denby nearly 10 years ago, we felt it was time to upgrade.
We are very impressed with the upgrades they have made to their Balmoral Conversion and the move to a lithium battery set-up is superb.
Leanne and the rest of the team have been amazingly helpful throughout the process of buying and converting our van. The options available were all explained and we are very happy with the end result.
We managed to live comfortably for three months while touring around Europe in the old van and can see it will be even more comfortable in the new van thanks to their help, advice and quality fitting service.
We are preparing for more extended trips and have been grateful for their ongoing support and advice.
Great customer service included Lloyd helping us understand how our new lithium battery set-up was working very efficiently.
We are looking forward to many more trips - thank you to everyone at Denby - and we'll be back again to upgrade in 10 years' time.

From start to finish, the Denby team were superb….. nothing was too much trouble when it came to us building the specifications that we wanted with them. Their advice and expertise throughout the process allowed us to tweak certain things that ultimately led to the perfect end result for our VW T6.1 conversion.
There are many companies across all industries that never manage expectations correctly but Denby delivered this very important element in bucket loads. When we asked the question “how long will the conversion take..?” their answer was 4 to 6 weeks and I must admit when we was driving back down the M1 we was somewhat dubious whether this deadline could be met.
However, true to their word, Denby delivered that deadline bang on the money…..!!
We are absolutely delighted (more than words can describe) on the final outcome of our beautiful campervan “Stanley” and we now look forward with huge excitement to the many adventures we have ahead with him.
If you are looking for a company that really cares about their customers and takes great pride in their craftsmanship then you need look no further than Denby……
We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them if you are considering purchasing a campervan, and we would have no hesitation in returning to purchase in the future.

Superb company to deal with.

We have owned our beautiful van for 3 years now, having ordered him through and had him fitted out by Denby.

The whole purchasing experience was smooth and the aftercare has been brilliant both during and beyond the warranty period. Nothing seems too much trouble for the fabulous team in the office and in the workshop

We absolutely adore our van and cannot recommend Denby highly enough.

Very professional with great campervans for sale . Just purchased our VW camper off this company and we are so pleased with the excellent service we recieved . Amazing van at a great price we couldn't be happier .All the team are great but a special thanks to Jim and Lloyd who made the purchase and demonstration so straightforward. Think carefully, do your research, and take a qualified mechanic or vehicle inspector with you before considering any campervan purchase from Denby Campervans.

This is not a scare mongering post and is written from personal experience regarding poor, unsafe and even dangerous standards workmanship as well as the parts they use.

Remember, Manufacturers Warranties are voluntary. But you do have Statatory Legal Rights - in other words goods should be ‘Satisfactory As Described, Fit for Purpose, and Last a Reasonable Length of Time’. Denby Campervans should come with a huge Health & Safety warning.

Example: Cheap and incorrect sized tyres fitted, Rear seats AND seatbelts not properly nor correctly fitted. Gas fitted incorrectly and without any ventilation drop outs in the event of a leak. No GasSafe certification. Parts with specific ‘use by date’ - such as rubber gas hose with expiry date older than the actual vehicle installed. Pop Top roof not fitted securely, not straight with the vehicle. Damage caused to vehicle during conversion. Missing screws and bolts which secure items like the spare wheel under the van. The list goes on, but you get the idea…

Interesting to read the response from DenbyCampervans.
A full written email detailing all the faults fully documented was sent to the company as requested by them. The company then failed to acknowledge or provide written response to the issues raised, other than a partial response with regards to the dangerous gas installation.

Excellent service from start to finish. Leanne and the team were fantastic from start to finish. As we already had a T5 already converted many companies would not take on the job to add a pop top alone but denby campers were up for it. They have carried out a fantastic job and we are 100% pleased with the work.

We just purchased our first campervan from Denby and the process was a dream. Everyone there is helpful and friendly, and patient with any questions you have. They helped us to find the perfect van that fit our criteria, and get it kitted out in just the right way. There was no pushing to include specific extras etc. It couldn't be more different to the experience of buying a car these days. We're thrilled with the end result and wouldn't hesitate to reccommend Denby to anyone.

What fabulous service we have had over the last two days . We took our van in with a few issues after over 4 years of ownership, the work was carried out in full without question. Lloyd & Jim are a credit to the company in professionalism and willingness to please and go the extra mile, and the ladies in the office are a pleasure to speak to, both on the telephone and in person.

Leanne & the Team at Denby Caravans were brilliant from start to finish.
We were lucky to find that they had the correct base vehicle in the colour & spec we were looking for. This then enabled us to do a site visit with Leanne to choose colour, styles & accessories.
Nothing was too much trouble, especially with us having plenty of questions & we were kept fully informed during the installation process, even having some photos sent over to us.
We are over the moon with service & quality from all of the team & would definitely use them again!!

The aftercare of this company is fantastic, nothing is too much trouble. They take time, patience and Jim is very professional and accommodating. Would highly recommend.

Helpful, friendly service after many years of reliable campervan use.

Amended review since I was threatened with losing my warranty. This review is an accurate description of my experience which cannot be argued against. There is no point having reviews if you only want good ones. People can see many good reviews as well as not so good, and can come to their own conclusions.
Substantial list of problems with Denby from day 1.
Ruined my excitement at getting a van after years of graft and saving. Totally fed up.
Poor quality workmanship meant van returning twice for 2 weeks each time. Most issues rectified BUT the vehicle should never have been handed over with this list of faults. No quality control on show. Here’s what I found;
-Pop top (new) fitted with holes in it. New one fitted.
-Reversing camera broken during conversion. Fixed.
-Leisure battery set up wrong. Fixed.
-Satnav not working. New sd card provided.
-Door and window seals badly fitted. Not fixed.
-instruction booklets not fit for purpose for newby.
-Water level indicator a mystery.
-Fridge levels erratic.
-Creaking from pop top frame. Fixed by myself. To be fair, I never mentioned this to Denby.
-Ripped flooring glued down with excess around the repair. Minor issue, I know.
-Awning not fitted correctly. Fixed by myself.
-Mechanical issues with base vehicle. Not Denby’s fault and they had work done by 3 garages (?) to correct issues.
Office staff are there to help but seem to be let down by fitters. Made me feel like I’m actually the problem after taking my £48k.

We have recently gone through the process of purchasing a van and having it converted with Denby, our request wasn’t straightforward as we wanted a different layout to the rock and roll design. Leanne was so helpful from helping us find our van and carrying out the design we wanted, she never said no to anything we asked. Can’t recommend Denby and the team enough, so friendly and helpful.
