Before telling my experience, I want to formally commend the Hospital staff, the representatives at destination beauty and most notably the staff at the Somerset Hotel. The hotel staff were absolutely exceptional, and the accommodations are beautiful, pristine, and incredibly spacious. I cannot recommend a hotel itself highly enough.I believe my surgery was successful, though my personal healing progress has involved significant swelling and bruising. While I would would still recommend travelling to Thailand with destination beauty for these procedures simply due to the huge volume of experience the surgeons possess however clients must understand the stark contrast between the fantasy presented in the marketing materials and the operational reality of the experience. Destination beauty functions as a highly efficient high volume conveyor belt if you adjust your expectations accordingly you will likely be satisfied with your outcome.
Number 1: preop and consultations. Automated efficiency versus the group reality.
The fantasy: online promotional video suggest the personalise seamless journey with dedicated individual attention and a comprehensive one-on-one consultation with your chosen surgeon. The reality: destination beauty is a well oil machine driven by automatic email automated emails and professional online logistics however, the personalise touch is somewhat absent. Pre-op day functions as a group herd you are transported in a van with numerous other patients scheduled for surgery on the same day with the same doctor. The pre-op testing takes an entire day because the entire group must wait until the final patient completes their testing before anyone can return to the hotel. The consultation: there was no private pre-op one one one consultation with five other patients scheduled with the same doctor for operations on the same day had consultations exclusively with Nurse om while she was fantastic and highly professional she is not the operating surgeon she explained what we were having and drew on our face.

Number 2 surgical day hospital admission and surgeon involvement the fantasy, a relaxed transition from the hotel to the hospital followed by a recurring dedicated surgical team led from start to finish while your primary surgeon .the reality ,on the day of surgery you are required to check out of the hotel before being transported in the van to the hospital only to have to check back in postop packing unpacking checking out and re-checking in while physically compromise is incredibly stressful destination beauty would vastly improve the patient experience by allowing guests to hold their rooms during surgery even at an additional cost. The surgeons presence in the hospital the surgeon visited me for less than five minutes one hour prior to my surgery while he was polite. It was not a medical consultation. He briefly verified the scheduled procedures and departed. He did not evaluate of these were the most appropriate choices for me nor did he recommend alternatives nor did he draw on my face the operating theatre entering the operating room was overwhelming and anxiety inducing. They were at least 10 people around none of whom spoke English my surgeon was not present in the theatre. When I went under after speaking with the five other patient scheduled with my doctor on the same day we all noted the exact same thing the surgeon was not there when we went under. Given the math Medical impossibility of one surgeon performing multiple complex procedures ranging from 4 to 6 hours in a single day clients must realise that register residence may execute large portions of the surgery and the primary surgeon rotate in and out to perform segments

Once you were discharged back to the hotel you were largely on your own the language barrier by the Hospital nurses are excellent and their English is far superior to my Thai communication is severely limited trying to articulate specific needs while confused and managed on heavy pain Medication is incredibly difficult. wound care ,and nursing access patients are expected to clean their own wounds once discharged which can be terrified when navigating early recover recovery while a nurse is technically available three times a week the booking system is entirely saturated and I was consistently unable to secure an appointment. I ultimately had to hire and pay for a private Nurse from an outside establishment to clean my wounds. Further. A

Nina har givet mig en god og personlig service. Brochurerne kunne godt være lidt mere informative. Sygeplejeskerne på hospitalet i Thailand er bare søde!
