Detectico.com have been in touch again 2 days ago by email to say they would take no more money from my account. There is 40 euros still pending on my account. If this 40 euros is not taken from my account I shall update this review. I hope this is nearly the end of the matter.
Original review:
I signed up for free trial on Sat 22nd February 2025 agreeing to pay the 80 + cent. I was charged over a euro. Detectico was of no help finding the phone. We found it ourselves later that day. I did not sign up for the monthly subscription but cancelled Detectico on the 22nd. My bank account has two amounts pending for ups.surf (Detectico). The first amount of just over 1 euro which I confirmed with my bank and the second amount of over 40 euros I did not confirm with Detectico or the bank. Detectico contacted me and claimed I had added all sorts of other supports. Even if I had, which I don't remember doing, I was charged nearly 42 euros
for my 24 hour free trial. How can they get away with this. A Scam

My partner paid the initial…
My partner paid the initial subscription and has been given one month free trial..unfortunately although messages have been sent there has been no location for the number wanted..instead it tracked her mobile! Today I sat beside her while she sent a link for me to click on..i received nothing inspite of the site saying it was processed. A competitor company identified the phone in minutes.
This is disturbing.
Trying to call the helpline is a waste of time

Misleading product.
Has not been able to do what it claims it does. I like many others here purchased the 1 day trial, which was advertised at a low price just under $2 which allowed me to send off several message/trackers. After waiting several hours to hear something from them I thought I'd test it out and send to my alternative number - the message was flagged as sent but never arrived, and I suspect the others sent also did not send, making the entire thing a pointless waste of cash. The product is advertised as something it is not, as to find a numbers location you must first send that number a message in the hopes they click on the link sent, which supposedly alerts the buyer. It did not work.

Unauthorized transaction
I was trying to locate an unknown phone number using their service. I was asked to pay a small fee less than a dollar and when the transfer was made a second web page opened and inorder to give me the data I should pay an additional 40 $
Trying to cancel the order I received another web page conforming my purchase. I have contacted them and asked them to cancel the subscription and
send me a refund. They replied to my mailbox and gave me a ticket number
7362755 . Today I have received another email asking me to confirm my email.
I confirmed my mail and was taken to the
initial reference page asking me to give the phone number I wanted to find out to restart everything over again.
How can I trust them?

Update 6th March: after the customer service promised 70% of the refund on 22nd or 23rd Jan, i have received it today after 45 days.

Seems like a fraud, they mention 0.89$ as trial fee and as soon as i paid they automatically deduct 34.98$ without aby authorization.. to keep myself safe from future transactions i had to block my card permanently and apply for a new one.. this is really an awful experience

J'ai souscris pour un essai d'un jour à 0,99 USD si on fait pas d'attention on va se debiter plus. au niveau operation je n'avais aucune résultat: On demande de créer une sms et si l'autre personne l'ouvre la detection s'effectuera. probabilité de se passer trop faible. overall je ne le recommande pas.
