Myself and friend go to the garden centre every week sometimes at the weekend with my husband I like the fact you can park your car the staff are always welcoming and nice. Food is always fresh
The only company who had the particular bird feeder I wanted so I bought two at great price. Well packed and fast delivery.

A GEM OF A PLACE
Dewaldens is in my opinion the best eating place in Kilmarnock. The food is always 10/10 and the cake selection is exceptional the staff and owners are always friendly and welcoming. What more could you ask for.

Helpful customer service when calling the centre with a query. Ordering easy for click and collect. Would definitely recommend.

Offers and water
Was there on Wednesday after 12.00 and were too late for the breakfast offer and too early for the afternoon offer. Asked for a glass of tap water with my food order as I don’t like bottled water, sodium gives me heart burn. Still waiting on the water.
Went today Sunday after 2.00 and asked for the scone and tea offer. Couldn’t have that as it is only Monday to Friday. Too many rules. Asked for a glass of tap water with the food order and was advised couldn’t have tap water only bottled. I can’t believe that you cannot get a glass of water in Scotland and the only option is together a plastic bottle. Most establishments offer water after all we have an abundance of drinking water in Scotland. Sorry will not be back and feel they should look at their offers, which are many and confusing, and the water policy. Very disappointed.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your visits and appreciate you sharing your concerns.
We would, however, like to clarify the timings of our offers. Our Morning Specials are available from 9am–11am, and our Afternoon Specials are available from 2:30pm–4pm, Monday to Friday. These timings are clearly stated as part of the offers, although we appreciate that they may not have suited the times of your visits.
With regard to our scone and tea offer, this is also a Monday–Friday offer, which is why it wasn’t available when you visited on Sunday. We have a number of different offers throughout the week, but each has specific days and times, which we do communicate to customers.
We’re disappointed that your experiences have led you to decide not to return. Nevertheless, we genuinely appreciate your feedback and will take your comments into consideration as we continue to review our service and customer experience.

Arrived yesterday morning and was pleasantly greeted by staff as always and the dogs. Took our Autistic grandson for breakfast. We asked if they had pancakes for him which the girl said no. So we asked for toast and seemingly you cannot order just toast for a child despite the fact that myself, my husband and daughter were ordering breakfast items. I can’t believe that a place like that who is expanding its cafe would deny any child a couple of slices of toast. We have been many times and always had a great experience, but i am afraid the whole thing yesterday and the member of staffs attitude has completely put me off and I won’t be back

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your visit left you feeling disappointed, particularly as you have visited us many times previously and have always had positive experiences.
We completely understand that when visiting with a child, especially a child with additional needs, having a little flexibility around food can make a big difference. We’re sorry that on this occasion we weren’t able to meet your expectations and, more importantly, that you felt the interaction with our team member was lacking in understanding.
That said, our breakfast menu does have set items and there are occasions where we’re unable to provide individual items outside of the menu. This is not intended to be unhelpful or to exclude anyone, but we appreciate that the way this was communicated clearly matters, and we will take your comments on board with the team.
We’re particularly disappointed to hear that you felt the member of staff’s attitude was the reason you would not return. That certainly isn’t the experience we want any of our customers to have.
Thank you again for your feedback. We do value your previous support and hope that, in time, we can restore your confidence in us.
