I'd had a look on line at a sofa. The salesman took time to show and discuss other similar options. He was friendly and explained the options clearly.

Got my last sofa from dfs 4 years again . I will always shop at dfs cause there helpful and polite. Helped answer all my questions and made me feel so relaxed when choosing the right sofa for my home

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with DFS.

Before purchasing my £2,000+ San Mateo sofa in Resilience fabric, I explained that I had a dog and wanted the most durable fabric available. Based on that conversation, this was the fabric recommended to me.

Within days of delivery, minimal contact from my dog left visible scratches. I never expected the sofa to be pet-proof, but I did expect a premium sofa, recommended as one of DFS’s most durable fabrics, to withstand normal family life far better than this.

I raised my concerns immediately, but despite going through the full complaints process, DFS rejected my complaint and issued a final response, stating the marks were caused by my dog.

My disappointment is not just with the product but with the customer service. I tried to reach a fair resolution, including accepting a substantial partial refund, but no compromise was offered.

I will now be pursuing my complaint through Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Based on my experience, I would advise anyone with pets to carefully consider whether this fabric is suitable for their home before purchasing.

It was great visiting dfs today, Muhammad was very friendly and welcoming! He gave us alot of advice and recommendations. I even enjoyed the coffee there so much. This is my third sofa from dfs, they are very good quality.

The sales staff was amazing... very helpful... patient (when kept changing our mind) and kind. We came back because of him, even though you had many other sofa shops on the same road.

Friendly and helpful staff who also gave us the chance to have a look around and didn't hound us in a salesperson way.

Sales Assistant remembered my name from a previous visit and allowed me to take my time sitting on the armchair to see how it felt so it was a no pressure sale.
Ensured the correct details of the chair (fabric & legs choice) were entered in the order form and I received email confirmation very quickly.

Good customer assistance from the staff. Explained the product well. Takes time, not rushing and polite staff.

Welcomed into the store, which is rare in some stores. Salesman allowed me to look around with out hovering near me. Once I made my top two sofas, he was at hand in guiding me through the makes, measurements and how they would fare in my lounge.
