We had a lovely experience at the store today, Meryl was very helpful and couldn’t do enough to help us chose the right furniture to suit our home. She was very clear and made sure we understood everything about our purchases and finance.

Sale was handled by James.Very helpful and pleasant.

Very nice selection in store. Staff were friendly but not pushy and happy to give space when asked for to think things over.

Everything was explained clearly and prices were explained in detail.

The wonderful experience started at the front door we were met with a lovely smile from the sales lady, we asked to be able to look round and would call her when we were ready. She came over when called and we shown her the suite that we had chosen. She very politely told us all the information about the product, explained the after care and the cleaning package that was available. We would definitely recommend DFS to our family and friends. The ordering procedure was very straight forward, the order was double checked by another sales lady and we were asked if we were happy with everything that we were buying. Top marks to DFS we have been coming to them for over 25 years and have always been totally satisfied.

Ordered a sofa end of November last year, it got delivered the 2nd week of December, by the 27th December the footstools cover had just completely pulled apart. Reported this, took weeks to sort out and was ordered a replacement. Well what I thought was a replacement it’s apparently just a cover, that got lost and am now having to wait 6-8 weeks for another cover to arrive. Extremely unhappy with the service received, don’t follow your consumer rights at all, take weeks to sort anything out, happy to take your money but anything else customer service wise is just an absolutely shambles. I’m nearly 6 months over and still have a faulty footstool.
Also the insurance is just as much a shambles as the company. I’d avoid at all cost and just go elsewhere.

Following the comment… this was reported on the 27th December. Having to wait weeks for a new cover is not convenient at all.

You do not pounce an your customers , I walked out on other stores for this ,when I needed a member of staff they were there and very helpful ,New what they were talking about

Knowledgable, helpful and friendly sales staff, who enhanced the buying experience.

The sales advisor was very friendly and explained every step and detailed all the process in terminology that I understood.

The payment plan was set up to my requirements and the whole process made me feel at ease. I would highly recommend this company if you are looking fur a new sofa.
