Very good experience. Went early, was empty, lovely, helpful lady assisted us and the purchase was prompt and hassle-free.

I am writing to you to raise an issue about: In-store shopping

The issue that I have experienced was: I bought a corner sofa and a cuddler from in store went threw all the measurements and exactly what I wanted also cost me £3,200 when it came I knew straight away the sizes were wrong after a coupe days I contacted dfs and asked them for someone to come and check it and make a report which took them ages to do so I have the emails we're as I state its unacceptable they wasn't replying to me after they sent there man out he agreed his never seen anything like this all the years working at dfs my seat depth was supposed to be 74cm but was 69cm the long part of the corner was supposed to be 174cm but was 168cm the cuddler was the same the seat depth this is everything I didn't want I made it clear that I understand its a approximate but even there man said its so badly made by measurements its unreal even lady on the phone said it was alot out of measurements.i also live in a house we're it won't go threw my passage so had to get it up threw my window which has to be repaired not a problem cause that's my problem but now I have to told them my new sofa comes this Friday 24th June to pick there sofa up and they flat right said its not at fault all sizes are approximate which 2 colleagues both said this is unacceptable I wanted this sofa this wasn't my fault now I have to damage my window again repair and paint it which costs money and not there saying they have to accepted fault

It occurred on: 2022-04-10

This meant that I'm absolutely disgusted I have been a customer of dfs nearly 20 years and can't believe a company of this size is doing this this has cost me 3,200 plus it will cost extra 500 for carpenter and painter to repair and paint window

Come and get there sofas and refund me my money

I look forward to your prompt response on this matter. As recommended by Trading Standards, I would like to keep a complete record of my case, so please reply to this email address.

Excellent customer service with a very friendly mannered and patient salesman who let me open up a sofa to see how it converted to a bed.
Apparently I was told they didn't have a certain sofa in stock but I was told later that it was downstairs in their storeroom. What mattered most to me is that the staff member was helpful and friendly . It trumps everything else

I bought a dark blue velvet lounger with the help of Narendra, who was extremely considerate, patient and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. Compared to my experiences at other stores, this one positively stood out since the staff were not pushy, and were keen to listen and give genuine advice.

I have never experienced as much trouble and frustration as with this company. Placed an order that included a bedside table and a sofa. The bedside table arrived after 4 weeks, completely damaged. Two huge cracks in the wood. It took countless emails and phone calls for it to finally get picked up, I still have not received the refund countless additional calls later. The delivery date for the sofa keeps getting pushed back without any reason or explanation, it went from 7 to 12 weeks - no discount, no apology. Absolutely unbelievable, never ever again!!!

The staff are helpful when there is someone available, in my case it was Murat who was very helpful, and very good sales person,

There was a good variety of sofas to view. The person who assisted me was super helpful and went through everything in detail. No rushing at all and made very helpful suggestions. He also answered questions thoroughly.
