Excellent easy fast service as usual 👌. Never had a problem in any dealings with the company and do and will continue to use them.

Very pleased with the service I received from Gary at the Shirley store.
I chose thinned varifocal reactolite lenses with a designer frame and saved around £100 on the price I had been given by Specsavers. Having worn them for a few days I am extremely happy with the all round vision.
A great range of frames and all lense costs are clearly displayed.
My friend had recommended Direct Specs and I am happy to do the same.

The glasses are exactly what it says on the packet just better. Most impressed

Very helpful staff and delighted with service received by Sarann at Wolverhampton branch today when I visited for advice regarding repair for long distance glasses. She went above and beyond to repair my glasses whilst I wait for a replacement to be ordered.
Have used Direct Specs for a number of years and would definitely recommend; Wide choice of frames, fast processing/notication of collection and excellent customer service.

The so-called bargain online retailers are never quite what they seem - you simply cannot get lightweight varifocals cheap and many of them wont do certain prescriptions online so I have to visit a store. Probably a better option you can get to see the frames and feel how they fit and how much they weigh! This Direct Specs store is just outside the main shops in Blackheath, it's never too busy and has parking spaces and a good selection of frames. It worked out cheaper than Specsavers and I'm delighted with my new glasses. Will definitely use them again.

This is best place you could buy your specs . Best prices, the gentleman at the reception gives you the best service without any complaints. If you decide to use this place for your new specs ( I recommend you do ) and then you can find a better service the please let me know. YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED.

Glasses ok but supposedly light tint which is impossible to notice. I’ve ended up with overpriced reading glasses…

I went to Direct Specs in Shirley on recommendation from someone who had previously had a good service from them. I found the staff incredibly helpful, friendly and professional.
I placed an order for a reglaze at a cost of £25 which I thought was very good value. When I went to collect my glasses unfortunately the prescription was incorrect - there had been one number error on my prescription. The lady serving me apologised profusely and explained my glasses would be sent off and corrected as soon as possible which they were. When I subsequently collected my glasses they were perfect, and unbeknown to me, it had been put on my notes that I was to be offered a free reglaze on another pair of glasses. I hadn’t asked for this or even expected anything. It was just kindly offered. I took advantage and now have another pair of reglazed glasses at no cost. What a service! And I’ve since returned to them and placed an order for another reglaze.

Excellent service, really pleased with the ease of ordering to the quality of the spectacles, communication was also spot on, will definitely use them again.
