Day tour in February 2023
I went on a tour with Discover Krakow in February 2023 and it went well and smoothly for the most part. The organization, customer service, vehicle provided and professionalism were all there. I was a bit disappointed with the tour guide as she wasn't very open to questions, she rushed through the tour and struggled a bit with English.

Discover Cracow, excellent.
Discover Cracow were very straightforward to the communication. They informed us by email for a change in the time of the meeting (by 30')one day prior. It was not problem. The guide was very good and all the excursion was well organized and worthy.
The driver we had on the day was good and looked after us well.
The guide was very knowledgeable and added real value to the day, much better then visiting without.

Our guide was fabulous
On a recent trip to Krakow, I booked with Discover Cracow, the day before when looking for some local places of interest.
Booking, info and meeting up was all very easy and our guide was excellent. She took us round the Schindler museum and ensured we saw all the key points of the visit with commentary, will definitely book with you again and thank you for a great guide

Salt Mines
Really great experience at the salt mines, collecting tickets was very straight forward, just meet by the UNESCO sign, only down side is the group size, we had 40 people in our tour and got stuck at the back so couldn’t hear the guide all the time, and often when we arrived at a location she was already talking so missed a lot of information.

Auschwitz-Birkenau tour
Driver was on time at pick up point but wouldn’t allow us to bring our hot drinks on the bus, despite the freezing snow. We had a lovely guide at the camps, she was very knowledgeable. There wasn’t enough time to grab any food and you’re not allowed to take anything onto the bus, so we were hungry. Weather was bad at camp 2, but we wanted to do it. We were soaking wet and cold getting back into the bus, we then got stuck in traffic because of the snow, so the journey back wasn’t very pleasant. Not the fault of anyone. We thought we would be dropped back off at the pick up point but the bus driver stopped at the Radisson Blu hotel and told us all to get off. Maybe we had misunderstood? But this wasn’t communicated at any point. And other people were confused also. Our accommodation was a 25 minute walk back, which was awful as we were so wet and cold. The driver let the company down on the day, his attitude wasn’t good. He was abrasive and short tempered

Guided Tour - Schindlers Factory
We really enjoyed the tour of the museum and admin building.
Our guide was who made it such a good experience. Woicek had a fabulous knowledge of not only the factory and Schindler but also of the history of krakow and WW2. He was very easy to talk to and answered everyone’s questions. Thank you Woicek!

All round great experience
All round great experience, Mines were very interesting and Simon our tour guide was fun and knowledgeable.

Nearly 5 stars
This review would have been 5 star if it was not for the fact that we were due to get picked up at 10 and when the driver had not arrived I called the office number to be told it had been changed to 11 and I had not been informed!! Very annoying 😡
But our driver made up for it as he was really lovely and helpful, even though his English was not great he still managed to communicate with us, he drove us to Auschwitz and then on to Birkenau, he was waiting for us so we did not have to hang around in the cold.
Auschwitz and Birkenau was harrowing but such an experience, the whole day was very well organised and I would highly recommend this trip and definitely get a private transfer (but double check your pick up time) 😊

The transfer from Cracovia to Auschwitz went super ok. What is wrong is the way they sell the ticket on GetYourGuide: it is not clear you are buying one way or A/R

Auschwitz-Birkenau
The night before our tour got pushed back nearly 3 hours which had us waiting around in the morning which was not a great start. Once we arrived at our destination, the tour was fantastic, the guide was very knowledgeable and efficient. We did book the tour with lunch included and we failed to receive that which left us hungry and frustrated after a long day. To conclude the auschwitz-birkenau tour was great was just a shame it was pushed back without an explanation and lunch wasn’t provided as promised.

Toer naar zoutmijnen geboekt om 11.10…
Toer naar zoutmijnen geboekt om 11.10 uur. Moesten om 11.00 uur aanwezig zijn. Om 11.10 uur komt er een gehaaste man (slecht Engels) geïrriteerd aanlopen. We moesten nog 10 minuten wachten. Zonder verdere uitleg. Gevoelstemperatuur was -7. We stonden daar met 13 personen te wachten. Rond 11.20 uur kwam de gehaaste geïrriteerde man weer. Hij was nog mensen aan het zoeken.
Rond 11.35 uur kwam hij terug met een hele grote groep! Wij waren ondertussen met 15 personen. En bevroren tot op het bot. De groep die erbij kwam was ongeveer 25 personen. In de mijnen hoorde je de gids niet als je in het midden of aan het einde van de groep stond. De groep was veel te groot. Echt een waardeloze excursie.

Het me te horen dat uw ervaring met de tour naar de zoutmijnen zo teleurstellend was. Het is onaanvaardbaar dat u in de kou zonder duidelijke uitleg moest wachten en dat de groep uiteindelijk veel te groot was om de gids goed te kunnen horen. Ik begrijp hoe frustrerend het moet zijn geweest om in zulke omstandigheden te moeten wachten en dan een overstemde tour te krijgen.
Uw feedback over de organisatie en communicatie van de tour is zeer waardevol. We zullen ervoor zorgen dat deze kwesties worden besproken met ons team om de ervaring voor toekomstige bezoekers te verbeteren. Het is van groot belang dat tours niet alleen informatief, maar ook comfortabel en goed georganiseerd zijn.

The Salt mine tour started on time with…
The Salt mine tour started on time with our pick up. Helpful and polite driver.
You were given a sticker colour on location and told where the bus would be on your return.
Overall the salt mine is a good half day out, not too far away from
krakow, 20 mins. Well worth a visit, and the company were great in keeping in touch with pick up location, time etc.

Auschwitz Normal Tour
The tour proposed was very practical because for 28e (student price), everything necessary for a good visit was included. Return bus between Krakow and Auschwitz, english speaker guide, transit between the two camps.
Only bad point was that the bus driver told us to throw our empty coffee cups before getting in but as he didn't have a bin, he just took the cups and thrown these on the ground.. This is a shame to give so few respect to this site
