We have wanted a loft conversion for sometime. Looking one day on YouTube we stumbled upon the DJ Moore loft channel. The videos were super helpful and convinced us that a loft conversion was a great idea.

After initially going down the architect route we tried numerous builders who just over engineered the project making it a non-starter. Nearly giving up I decided to reach out to Dan which is the best thing I could have done. From that point onwards Dan was super consultative and we were able to proceed with DJ Moore lofts. From the initial pre-construction meeting we had a WhatsApp group which kept us fully involved in what was going on managed day to day by Ben. Nathan and Jamie were designated to our project and the workmanship and skill was excellent.

What further impressed us was how well run the whole process is from start to finish. We were encouraged to live at home during the project then once the structural element was complete we had a great meeting finalising exact details around bathroom, electrics and other key details.

Move on to 8 weeks since they started construction we have a completed loft conversion; with attention to detail and skill second to none. Nothing was too much trouble and their knowledge in loft conversions really takes a good loft conversion to an amazing one.

If you are considering a loft conversion then I honestly can say DJ Moore is the gold standard. You will see they have fantastic reviews online and this is purely down to the fact this is a well run company with a fantastic team throughout.

We recently got a L shape dormer loft conversion done by DJMoore what an amazing team they have . It was quite a challenging experience but Dan and his entire team from the business manager Ben to the carpenter Nick, loft buliders Charlie , Cain plumbers Tyler and Jack, Gordan and Craig the plasterer not too forget the electrician Matt and his team . Everyone was so helpful patient respectful of our property which is extremely rare these days.Throughout the whole process the team were helpful went over and beyond to meet our needs if i could give them 100 stars I would . We honestly couldn’t be happier with our loft conversion, 10/10 from start to finish.

Dan and Ben were always at the end of the phone whenever we needed them. No question was too small, and they made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free.

Charlie and Cain were the main team working on our project and they were absolutely brilliant, professional, hardworking, respectful of our home, and just genuinely great guys to have around. You can tell they really care about the quality of their work.

Tyler, the plumber, was incredibly patient with all our bathroom requests and made sure everything was finished to a high standard.

The whole team delivered amazing results and we’re so pleased with the final space. We’d recommend them without hesitation.

Choosing Daniel and the team for our loft conversion was the best decision we could have made. Excellent craftmanship, brilliant communication throughout, and such lovely people across the whole team. Nothing was ever too much trouble, any question was answered promptly, and it made it a really enjoyable process/build. Five star review - I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Overall it was a very good experience. The team were great, efficient, tidy and friendly. The communication was clear and responsive and Dan runs a tight ship very well.

We love DJ Moore and the loft that him and his team of superheroes have created for us!
I was really concerned and apprehensive about the process before it started, especially as it involved us moving our belongings and young family out for a few weeks while our ceilings were lowered ro create the desired headroom in the loft space. Dan reassured us throughout the entire process and his team created a loft that fits seamlessly into our home and we can't imagine our house without it.
Every tradesman who came into our home was a true gentleman. Well presented and approachable. They were all friendly and accommodated my ideas and changes to the plans we had and found a way to bring each of our ideas to life.
Steve and Mario worked tirelessly to create the original space and gave us so much confidence in the process and structure. The teams that followed- electrics, plumbing, plastering, tiling were all coordinated perfectly by Dan and Ben who supported us throughout.
What began as something I was honestly dreading became something super exciting and we appreciate and admire the skills of everyone involved who transformed our home. Thank you DJ Moore lofts. We will be recommending you to anyone who shows an interest in having a loft conversion!

We originally had a quote and plans drawn up by another builder, but we came across DJ Moore Lofts and Dan’s YouTube channel – and we’re so glad we did. Although there was a bit of a wait before they could come out and quote (which speaks for itself for how good they are), lofts are clearly their bread and butter, whereas our previous builder didn’t really specialise in them.

When Dan came round, he quickly visualised a much better layout for our loft than what we’d been shown before. Once the build was underway, we were given flexibility and guidance on the finer design choices – from lighting and doors through to handles, skirting, and even clever extras like cupboards built into the eaves to maximise space. Dan and his team also took care of all the planning permission, which completely removed that stress from us, and as soon as permission was granted the build got underway.

As anyone who’s seen Dan’s videos might expect, day one was delivery day – which really brought the project to life and made it all feel very real! On site, our builders Steve and Mario were absolutely brilliant: hardworking, friendly, and incredibly efficient. They made quick progress without ever compromising on quality. Dan also got us up into the loft as soon as it was safe, so we could see the open layout and decide on details while it was still possible to tweak things.

Once the loft was watertight with the windows in, the stairs were added. We were really impressed that these were securely blocked off straight away – a thoughtful touch that meant our curious youngsters couldn’t access the loft until it was completely safe. It gave us huge peace of mind while living through the build.

The result is a fantastic new space that’s already being used and loved by the whole family. Communication was great throughout, and even with two young children in the house, we always felt reassured – safety and quality were clearly paramount at every stage.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dan and the team. If you’re considering a loft conversion, DJ Moore Lofts are the specialists you want.

We asked Dan from D J Moore Loft Conversions to quote for a Velux loft conversion after viewing his impressive You Tube channel. Our loft space overlooks a large copse and was perfect to be converted into a master bedroom with commanding views. The project also included a separate dressing area and bathroom..

Dan was very professional and approachable and talked us through every step. The quotation included all plans, consents and inspections, which went seamlessly. The whole team worked hard every day throughout the working week and were a pleasure to have in our house - a big shout out to Pat and Tyler, the heating & plumbing team and Mark and Taylor the electrical team. Dan set up a dedicated WA group. and the team were always quick to answer any questions we had. We decided to have air-con fitted and Dan had a great contact Ball Air Conditioning Services

This firm are machines - well oiled & an absolute delight to have chosen for my loft conversion. I had six quotes from other companies, Dan was in the middle, but as soon as I met him I liked his approach & I went with my gut feeling which was totally right. From start to finish they were fabulous, great team all extremely loyal to their employer & were a delight to have in my property. The whole job took 6 weeks to complete which was bonkers ! Pleased to leave a 5 star review for the DJMoore team. From start to finish Dan and the whole team were highly professional and easy to work with. Communication was excellent which made a huge difference - a WhatsApp group was set up including Dan, the project manager and us at outset which allowed any concerns to be dealt with quickly and efficiently. A simple idea but made a huge difference. The quality of work was excellent as well with experts used to do every part of the job e.g. tiling, carpentry, plastering,plumbing etc. In short, I'd have no hesitation recommending DJMoore

We had a large loft conversion that resulted with addition of 2 bedrooms and an en-suite, a Megaflo to replace a gravity fed system and boxroom re-configured for a study with staircase to loft

In summary, the customer experience was of exceptional standard from design to build. There are not enough words to describe how good this company is but professional, honest, high quality and trustworthy comes to mind. We are so fortunate in having this company in our region that I know would be an envy of many given the horror stories you read

Choosing DJ Moore was never an option, it was mandatory for us. asking Dan questions when we met for the first time, was minimal because his social media content did the automatic sell. This was true throughout our build

Dan and team provided a seamless experience on the build whilst we remained occupied. Steve and Mario provided tireless effort in the sun to keep tune the build to timelines and deliver an end product within 7 weeks (a week sooner than estimated), given this was a large conversion.

The team were very approachable, listened to needs, didn't mind being questioned or challenged. The work ethic and the way Dan would want his staff to work were easy to see.

DJ Moore is a one stop company, by all means review others but you will return to Dan in quick time, because you will quickly sense that they will bring an hassle free experience, high quality build expertise and the best customer experience during and after the build

We recently had an attic extension completed by DJ Moore, and from start to finish, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the very first meeting, Dan took the time to walk us through the entire process, answering all of our questions and openly discussing various options. We actually had multiple chats with Dan, and none of them felt rushed or pushy. This level of transparency and willingness to explore different possibilities really set them apart from other companies we had considered.

The quality of the work exceeded our expectations. Each member of the team was highly professional and personable, offering great advice and guidance throughout the project. 
As they have different teams for different phases of the conversion every detail was executed to perfection.

Communication was another strong point. We were kept in the loop at all times with a dedicated WhatsApp group that included Dan (the owner), the project manager, and the key on-site team. This made it easy to stay updated and get questions answered promptly. The project manager was also on-site nearly every day, even if just for a short period, to check in with us, provide updates, and discuss any questions/concerns. 

The team was incredibly considerate, not only of our home but also of our neighbours, who even commented on how little disruption there had been.

We had a slight delay due to a faulty part sent by a supplier (which we had ordered), but the team handled it amazingly and they managed the timelines effectively to prevent any significant delays. 

There were no hidden or surprise costs, everything was clearly outlined upfront. Optional extras, like additional plugs, Ethernet and TV ports, were discussed thoroughly, giving us the time to make informed decisions.

One standout for us was their personal touch. The team was a delight to have on-site, which was particularly important as we work from home. 

Throughout the build they offered advice and guidance that really helped us and really improved the finished build and made the entire process as seamless as possible. We also liked that they regularly publish videos on their YouTube channel, which gave us a great insight into the quality of their work and attitude.

Overall, we would highly recommend DJ Moore to anyone considering an attic extension. They truly set the bar high, and we would recommend them without hesitation—you won’t be disappointed.

We chose DJ Moore to build our loft conversion after a very informative meeting with Dan. We had quotes from several companies but when we met with Dan we were impressed by the detailed quote, professionalism, knowledge & advice (also the iPad full of pictures for design inspo)

Our conversion started in freezing cold January 2024 but that didn’t dampen the spirits of the amazing Nathan and Jamie who always arrived on time & cracked on with the build come rain or shine - all with minimal disruption to us and our young family.

There were a lot of decisions to be made throughout the build which were made quickly and efficiently through constant communication from the team. All the of the tradespeople were exceptionally skilled and couldn’t do enough for us.

Three months after the build started, we have been left with a stunning primary bedroom and en-suite, it’s completely transformed our home. We can’t thank all at DJ Moore enough for making what should be a stressful few months, pleasant ones, an efficient build & for the aftercare provided as we settle into the new room. The best of the best!

From start to finish the communication and attention to detail was second to none.
We cant thank Dan and the team enough for how quickly they put us at ease, were competitive on price and helped us adapt and change as the build came along to make sure it was right for us.
The team onsite were amazing and always happy and keen for us to see what was happening and suggest any ideas that would simply benefit us.

The thought of having a build take place over Christmas was a slight worry but again they put us first and cant thank them enough for how everything was handled.

The outcome has been the transformation of an non usable loft covered with Trusses to an amazing room with so much space and storage we couldn't of hoped for any more.

We did a lot of research before deciding to go with DJ Moore loft conversions and we were very happy with our choice. Our loft conversion was very large velux loft conversion with a complex apex window installation. The conversion included an additional 4 rooms, bathroom and hallway. The whole process ran very smoothly and the conversion was completed in the time frame specified (7weeks). The core team (Darren and Greg) that were on site from the start were lovely and were helpful and very patient with our questions. The second team that came to help to install the Velux windows and change all the doors were also a great team to have on site. Communication was great and everyone involved (including all the additional trades people) were professional and reliable. The work areas and general property areas were kept clean and tidy at the end of the day and the intrusion in to the house (when the stairs are installed) was kept to a minimum. I would definitely recommend Dan and his company, the conversion has really well and has had a really positive impact on our home.

I was amazed each day to see the changes and how quickly they transformed my unused loft space into two extra bedrooms and a shower room. It really does feel like part of the house and not a loft at all as the design and build fit so well into the original layout of the house.

DJ Moore have just completed a Velux extension for us in Bedford, to create a new master bedroom, en suite, and large landing area.

From our first conversations with Dan, we knew we were in good hands. He was helpful and informative, running us through all of the options and we were very clear on what was going to be included as part of the work that DJ Moore were going to do for us. We were kept well-informed in the run-up to work starting on our property.

The actual construction work ran quicker and much smoother than expected (particularly in our almost 100-year old house!) and Darren and the team worked hard and carefully, with minimal disruption to us. We have to give a particular shout-out to the bathroom team who completed the tiling, plumbing and bathroom installation really well and this room is now a highlight of the house! Since completion of the main works, they've returned a few times to finish off small jobs in the loft, and each time they have noticed and fixed small issues that hadn't even occurred to us, which really shows their level of care about the work that they do.

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend DJ Moore to anyone considering a loft conversion; definitely a 5-star experience!

From start to finish Dan and the team knew their stuff. Having a company that specifically does loft conversions helps with advice from design through to build. Even changes throughout when you start to see the size etc was never an issue. The team were always polite, friendly and always cleaned up. Job was done within 6 weeks, to the highest standard.
